Online checking room key was waiting at reception. Room was large and clean. Hotel staff always polite and helpful. Great car park - plenty of space. Breakfast as always is very good. Rapid check out is appreciated. Well done to Mercure Lesquin Team!

A good clean and comfortable room, very good shower. Continental breakfast was good too. Very close to the airport with a free shuttle bus. It was good value. I would highly recommend this hotel and Accor Hotels in general.

Received a nice and smiling welcome at the hotel front desk. Restaurant food was very very good and with top service. Room was nice and confortable. I din"t like the long corridors leading to the rooms ... They need refurbishment and cleaning.

This is a hotel showing its age. However the staff are of a high order, the rooms although ageing are very acceptable, the restaurant is only average but the location excellent.

« Much better, i had for the first time a fully refurbished room »

Best stay to date on 3rd floor i think 358 from memory. This was fully refurbished both bedroom and bathroom. Every room should be like this as the others are litetally from the 70s and whilst have a bath to use the shower is very dangerous.

Poor standard for a Mercure hotel. I expected a much better standard of service. The Mercure should be offering keen staff both in reception and in the bar and restaurant areas. They were not happy to serve and felt as if they were bored.

« hotel stay for xmas markets »

we stayed the room was nice and comfortable but the interjoining door didn't work between the rooms, my husband rang reception hoping it would be fixed and never did. we decided to get a taxi into lille Christmas market the whole point of our stay there was 3 adults 4 kids to get told they didn't do taxis big enough for us, it was booked by receptionist. aswell as taxis costing 28euro and 29euro to get there. if we knew this we would of took the car as it wasn't far away. the annoying part aswell was when it came to getting a taxi back we went into the mecure hotel in lille centre to be able to get in a seven seater taxi and it cost alot less.

At check-in the reception desk employee started immediately to talk French, didn’t ask me first in which language I would like te be addressed. And he continued in fast French, which was difficult for me to follow.

My room smelt of smoke and many of the power sockets didn't work, I asked for the room to be changed and that was easily arranged for my second night, with a complimentary drink. very happy with the result!

« Two issues: Airport shuttle problem - E-bill not received »

Shuttle: At 5h50 am, there were a lack of shuttle to reach the airport for an early flight. A small car with priority given to aircrew was available, and the flight users have had to wait. Thankfully I was in advance in my schedule to get any inconvenience but that we not giving a good image of the hotel organization. Knowing that there were three Accor hotels in the same area, Ibis, Novotel and Mercure and there were no formal plan to compensate the lack of shuttle was not acceptable. Only after we complains, the driver asked for help to the Novotel to help him to transit the customers to the airport. E-bill: Despite a fast check-out (I have been charged 138.13 EUR), I still have not received the e-bill.

The hotel, despite near the airport and 5he A1 Motorway is quiet. There was a party at the restaurant and we were fine not hearing anything in our bedroom. The furniture of the bathroom is a bit old but thas was good enough.
