« Never fails to provide satisfaction »

Situated ' a deux pas' from the airport. (about 400 yards from Terminal 2) Excellent shuttle service with committed enthusiastic staff.Swimming pool, bar, and even a departure board in the reception area. Reception staff, polite, efficient and well trained.Rooms spotless, linen clean, excellent shower.Excellent food and service in Courtepaille restaurant at reasonable prices.Treat a stopover as part of the holiday. This place goes the extra mile to provide an excellent stay.My wife remarked that she would quite happliy have spent a few days here instead of a one night stopover.

The Ibis was clean and staff friendly. Nice pool and coffee bar. Great location 2 minutes from airport. Perfect place to stay night before a flight. If in area, will definitely stay again. Easy to get to city as well, just take bus from airport if want an alternative to staying in Marseille.

Everything went smoothly. Summoned Hotel Shuttle from the Airport. It was there in 10 minutes. Easy check in, comfortable clean room with immaculate shower. Lots of amenities, bar, computer,swimming pool terrace, boules court. Great Courtepaille restaurant with excellent staff. Shuttle bus to the Airport in the morning, free of charge. Excellent stress free stop over.

The personnel was very nice, the room was at the standard Ibis level, the breakfast was good. The location is convenient as you can reach the airport even by walking (12 minutes). All in all, very good.

Ideal stop over if you have an early morning flight to catch.. Staff were very helpful throughout our brief stay, especially the check-in/reception staff, the restaurant staff and the courtesy bus driver.

Arrival was too late in the evening to catch our train connection so stayed over at the Ibis, as we have done on several previous occasions. Hotel is very close to the airport and an excellent shuttle service runs continuously. Hotel room was nice, bed and bathroom spotless and a first class restaurant with very efficient staff. Check in and out was easy. They are used to dealing with big numbers so we never felt any stresss or dissatisfaction.

this hotel exceeded my expectations -- storing my luggage 24 hours before my check in --having my luggage ready at 2.30 am check due to a delayed flight. Great breakfast and great lunch menu. Friendly and helpful staff everyhere in the hotel

Hotel is in a good location. Staff are friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Aircon didn't work, so woke up dehydrated and somehow with a cold on first night. Opened window on second night and didn't get any sleep due to the noise. Was told that the aircon is turned off in the Spring.....

We arrived with low expectations as we were staying at the hotel to catch an early flight but we were very pleased with the service and cleanliness. The hotel is renovated and the shuttle service very convenient.

« So handy for the airport »

We stayed here because we had an early flight next morning. When we got the bus from St Charles we simply buzzed the hotel from the bus stop and it was there in 5 minutes. Comfortable room, good meal in the restaurant, air conditioning, good sleep and shuttle bus to the airport in the morning. Easy and painless. Will use again.

We always stay at the Ibis when on vacation in France, but by comparison this one had too few electrical outlets, little bathroom storage, a small and hard-to-work TV, and (like all Ibis hotels) too few clothes hangers for 2 people. Granted, it is really a place to stay for a night just before (or after?) your flight.

First time I've used one of your hotels. Although barebones, the room was comfortable. There was no remote for the TV in the room, but I after manually going through the channels, I decided there was nothing I wanted to see anyway, so it was fine. The complementary minibus took over 30 minutes to arrive at terminal 1 to take us to the hotel which is no more than 500 meters away. We then found the TV did not work and having changed room, the air conditioning did not work! To cap it off when eating in the restaurant we noticed the chef was the minibus driver - cooking in his driving clothes!! Not good.

All the public road network of the airport is in renovation work at present, and the accesses are complicated, it is the reason why our free shuttle is not hyper reactive. Every members of staff drive the shuttle in our hotel Ibis, we have no official driver. The air conditioning in this period of the year gave way to the heating, where from the fact that it is not in service. Sorry for the inconveniences. Régis Koch. General Manager

Rooms are available 12.00 to 12.00 which can be very helpful. The rooms are typically compact but have all that is necessary for a one night stay. Breakfast was adequate, but for 9 euros quite good value. Dinner in the restaurant features local produce to an extent and was reasonably priced, as were the wines. Air conditioning in the room wasn't totally effective.

« Good Overnight Stay »

Booked this hotel since we had a 6.30 a.m. flight. Hitch when we arrived by the Airport Bus at the Airport. Phoned the hotel for the Courtesy Bus to come and pick us up to take us to the hotel. Half an hour later the bus had not turned up so we had to phone again and it turned up 10 minutes later. Other than that everything else was faultless. Room clean, facilities including restaurant and service were first class. Courtesy bus at 5.00 a.m. took us to the terminal. Restaurant opened at 4.00 a.m. Would recommend this hotel as a very convenient stop over.

At 4 pm we had a delicious buffet breakfast and at 5 pm we were taken to the airport by the hotel pendel in 5 minutes. Really super. And the staff was extremely friendly. We had diner in the Grillrestaurant. This was a littlebit expensive but very good.

« Ruined by one employee »

The room was very clean and comfortable, maybe a little warm but it was very hot weather. Breakfast the next morning was very lovely and we were greeted very well. Unfortunately we were let down by one person who ruined our experience at the hotel so we will not return. We wanted a meal at about 6pm so we went to the restaurant/bar and sat down at a table. We started to look at the menu and about 2 minutes later an employee arrived at the table and stated that we should have told someone that we were there. We were a bit perplexed by this as there was no employee to tell on arrival into the restaurant. However, he asked us what we would like to drink and went away… we didn’t get our drink for about 20 minutes. The restaurant was very quiet at this time and he had given someone else a meal in the restaurant and then disappeared. There was nobody to ask apart from at the Reception so I went around and he was talking with another employee. He looked very cross when I had showed up there and he said that we was on his way to us. I sat down again becoming quite fed up and we felt very uncomfortable when he rushed through to the back of the restaurant slamming the back door. Almost another 10 minutes passed so I went to the Reception again this time trying to explain that we were still waiting and it looked like our ‘waiter’ had stormed out. This employee said that he would come back soon, which surprisingly he did about a minute or so later appearing with our drinks. He then rushed into the kitchen where he subsequently slammed down a bread basket and two salad bowls in front of us. We were astonished at how we had been treated and we did not touch the bread or the salad. He asked me why I was complaining at Reception and then asked what we wanted to order. My husband told him that we did not want to order food now as I had become upset by him. He rudely told us that we had upset ourselves and asked my husband to explain nicely why we were unhappy. My husband very nicely told him that despite the restaurant being very quiet were being ignored for too long and no apology was made. He listed all the jobs he had to do at the hotel which was very unprofessional and so we asked for the bill for our drinks which was very promptly bought to us and paid. We just wanted to leave the hotel but instead we just went off and ate elsewhere just to get away from him.

The restaurant was closed this afternoon there because of spring cleaning, but it is not a reason to make you wait for so long, and to have this attitude and i'm sincerely sorry for that. It is not usual in our hotel because my team is rather friendly and ready has to satisfy our customers and comments on trip advisor are rather good. Still saddened for this inconvenience. Very close to the airport and easy to reach, even with 5 minutes walking, the roadmap is traced on the walk side with a green line. The hotel is very confortable, has clean rooms, and the internal restaurant offer good food. Average is the restaurant's staff service and the variety of the breakfast offered. WiFi is stable and fast.
