There was a noise in my room like water dripping somewhere. Room 705. Maybe the airco on the roof?

« Not much to brag about »

This hotel was inexpensive and my average rating is generous. I can't believe that Ibis had another hotel that was called economy with what we experienced here. Here are the positives: The staff desk person was pleasant; the bed was comfortable even though the heat of the room made it very uncomfortable; the room seemed clean; It was less than 60 Euros. Negatives: The room was very hot, the motel turned off the A/C in October; The hallway smelled like Clorox; The airport shuttle didn't start until 5 and we had a flight at 6 A.M.; The room was VERY basic. There are few options to stay next to the airport.

Hi sir, Thank you to give us your opinion and your average rating in regards of your stay in Ibis Marseille Airport. We are very glad that you have appreciated our staff and your Ibis "sweet bed". Indeed, the air conditionning runs during the summer and then we cut off for November period. We have some fans at front desk (24 hours) or we can changed your room. Our free shuttle begins at 5am until midngiht, if you need a shuttle before, Pullman hotel can be the solution thanks to their 24 hours shuttle service. Have a nice day, Valentin VAILLANT

« Less expensive but noisier and dingier than Best Western. »

Maintenance should use an attachment to vacuum the edges of the hallways. The build-up of dust where the carpet and wall meet makes the hotel look dirty. The room was not soundproofed enough. When our neighbors entered their rooms it sounded as though they were entering our room.

Room was OK but only 2 thin bath towels were provided, no hand towels at all. Breakfast was fine. We ate dinner in the restaurant and had horrible service and even more horrible food.

The upsides are close proximity to the airport (including a free shuttle) and friendly staff. It's all downhill after that. Hallways and rooms are dreary and not particularly clean. Water temperate in the shower would suddenly go from cold to hot and back, which was not only uncomfortable but potentially dangerous.

« cheesy hotel »

staff fine. stinky cleaning products, noxious smell immediately upon entering lobby where they were cleaning the rug. at CHECK in time smell upstairs in hall too. we opened our window wide open and left open the entire time. Very bad cleaning product smells. Room misleading small (common but misleading) two crappy threadbare towels ONLY in bath. Two nonfunctioning soap dispensers, NO other amenities. Adequate beds and linen.

« Convenient, free shuttle service, value. »

We arrived late night and shuttle show up in five minutes after the call, otherwise we could have walk in day light. Room a bit bigger than standard Ibis size. Nice and clean as usual. Loyal to Accor group hotels as they keep their standard.

« Friendly people. The room had not good ventilation. God food but waiter was in a hurry. »

Kind cowerker. Good service from the airport by buss. But as in the restaurant people were very inpatient. When we call from the airport who answer didn’t have time for to listen. But they came soon and picked us up. The room was silent and clean. Good internet. Good coffee in the breakfast and other things. Not so good variation in the food for breakfast. Restaurant, difficult to understand the waiters, we could t eat in peace. We’re more busy to pick up the dishes and don’t let us enjoy the food. She was on the next step.... it was not possible to open the window or other alternative for to get ventilation.

« Perfect Place to Stay Near the Airport »

The shuttle was easy to find and within 15 minutes, we were at the hotel. We had a one-day layover. The desk clerk was helpful, giving us a map and showing us how to walk back to the airport to catch a bus into the city. The next day, the shuttle left promptly at 5 am, and we had plenty of time before our flight. Our room was clean and served our needs at a great price. Only problem--too many people wanted the 5 am shuttle, so some gave up and walked, even though I suspect that the shuttle would have been back in enough time to take them as well.

All was good except for the room temperature. It was very hot, making for a very restless night of sleeping. When asked why the AC wasn’t workinq:the staff member replied that beginning in October, that hotel turns off the AC for the winter. It was a very uncomfortable evening and we had a 6:45 flight the next morning for Calif. we were really tired throughout the flight, and when we got home.
