« not clean (both room and restaurant), cant eat the breakfast, resturant at fast food level but expensive, expensive compared to other Hotels with better service and comfort. »

Quite ok, but Chinese tourists should be instructed how to behave, especially during breakfast. It was like breakfast in lunatic house. Interesting experience for 119 EUR, but at least it was not boring as always.

it is my 5th stay Ibis (various facilities) and I spent 8 nights. the clientele proved to be excessively noisy without any respect for other people's sleeping time (I refer particularly to the groups)

The area is a little out of hand therefore it would be nice to have a gym area somewhere in or near the hotel, or a shuttle bus to get to the city.

« Nice clean place but badly trained staff »

Upon arrival n the hotel I asked for late check-out on the next day - 5PM. At around 12.45 PM I heard knocking at the door - the cleaning lady asked me when I was going to leave the room as she wanted to clean it. I answered that I asked the day before for a late checkout at 5PM as I wanted to do some work on my computer. 15 minutes later at around 13.00 another staff member knocked at my door reminding me to leave the room as soon as possible preferably before 2PM threatening to call the police should I not follow her request. I explained again that I asked for a late checkout at 5PM and that I was a "gold" member and I agreed to leave the room by 2PM is hotel staff so wished. I packed my suitcase and I was ready to leave. Then around 1.30PM I was called by a receptionist. I was offered some apologies and I was asked to stay until 5PM. The explanation given to me was that there was some misunderstanding between staff members and my request was not properly noted in the system and that my request was very unusual to the staff members as guests would never leave the room so late. Eventually I left the room and I checked out before 4PM. I was shocked by unfair treatment and the distress I suffered in this hotel as I never experienced similar issues with late check outs in any of the other Accor hotels in the UK, Germany or Poland. It seems that staff have not been properly trained in this hotel and I was shocked to have been offered threats by hotel staff to call Police should I not leave the room on time despite late checkout having been agreed with reception on the day before. Other than that the room was clean and everything else was ok.

great for an overnight before a flight. Wish the shuttle from/to airport went more often than ever hour.... long wait for bus.

« Tiny twin bedroom, breakfast ok once replenished »

Check in and check out were fine. We got a small twin room opposite the lift (but didn't get noise from it). Room looked tired and was freezing cold when we came in, so we switched off the airco (actually needed heating given the temperature outside) , had to ask for a second towel. Bed was fine, but there was not much space to open the suitcase and even less storage space. OK for a night stay, but wouldn't stay longer.

« Old tired property »

The property is next to a Ibis budget but this is not much better, the beds in the twin rooms were tiny. ( probably 70cms?) the floor felt sticky and looked horrible. The bathroom was fine but the air con was so unbelievably noisy, neither of us slept a wink. One staff member spoke English, the others a little. All of them saying they don’t speak Dutch. The lady that was on reception in the morning was miserable. Barely spoke when asked something. Not somewhere we will come back to.

« Worst experience in hotels from ever. »

Only at booking.com I have more than 200 bookings, but the experience in Brussels was the worst in my life. Mr. John treated me roughly and without respect. Not even paid attention on what I was trying to fix. He was the worst ever attendant in my life.
