It was ok. I had to wait half an hour for the shuttle bus at the airport (I understand it was not something the hotel did wrong, however it did affect my experience waiting in the cold). I have dietary restrictions and due to the limited options available at the restaurant I ended up not having dinner. Also at first the room was cold, it took some time to warm up.

« A satisfactory stay at a reasonable price, except for parking cost »

This hotel is close to Brussels and the Brussels airport, and provides the essential requirements of a hotel at a reasonable price. The wi-fi was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The breakfast price is too high so we brought our own food for breakfast. My main complaint is that the website did not mention the cost of parking, which turned out to be around 10 euros. I felt that was unreasonably high for a budget hotel. But at least it was secure. The AC in the room was also a bit noisy, but I used my earplugs and blocked it out.

« VERY BAD EXPERIENCE »

- PERSONNEL NOT POLITE. THEY WERE CHASING US AS IF WE WERE THIEVES TO PAY ONE COFFEE WE HAD FROM BREKFAST, EVEN IF WE SPENT 200 EUOROS FOR POOR DINNER -NO CLEAR EXPLANATION WHY WE COULD NOT BE REIMBURSED THE TWO NIGHTS ( 150 EUROS) THAT WE CANCELLED.

« Not a good nights sleep »

I found the staff to be a little curt and not very friendly, they did not speak very much English and this may be something to do with it but they were just not warm and didn't explain anything. The hotels is old and slightly shabby and with the extra 12 euros for parking and tourist tax I found the whole stay expensive for what it was. When I tried to order coffee in the morning it was difficult as the girl seemed annoyed with me. The bed was far to soft and felt cheap, the mattress was thin.

« Rooms are shabby and small »

The rooms are in serious need of an upgrade. The room is small but that is to be expected. However our room had damaged walls and was in need of repair. The walls are thin and I could hear the person in the next room snoring all night.

« Really bad service from reception and bar staff »

Hotel average, situation next to airport but pointless as the hotel transfer takes more than 1Hour to drop you at the airport because it's taking people from other hotels. The only reason to stay there is to go to the airport and... That is easier from Brussels city... So really bad choice. On top of that staff was disrespectful... I won't come again

Reception staff aren’t very informative. I wanted to get on the shuttle bus but staff didn’t indicate where to wait while I have been waiting for about 45 mins. They should have directed me where to go.

« OK place for business or short city trip »

The hotel is OK. Not great and not bad. Close to the motorway and the airport as well as NATO and a few other company HQ's. Plenty of parking space at the hotel, and price is OK. There is a tram line just around the corner which gives you relatively easy access to the center of Brussels. The room was small, but certainly not the smallest I ever had. Bathroom was clean and there was enough room there as well. I didn't try the breakfast.

« Would stay again »

Overall good experience as usual in the Ibis hotels. Only one problem: our assigned room was not made when we arrived (bedding on the floor, bathroom not made), but we were immediately given a different room. Breakfast was great, and the free shuttle bus to the airport is another bonus.
