I stayed happily in this hotel a couple of years ago. The staff are still very friendly and helpful but the rooms have gone down in quality: they are tired and need renewing. The curtains look grubby and need rehanging. Most important, the bathrooms have no hand rails, so for guests of limited mobility they are dangerous. I would not stay there again unless these things are taken care of.

This Hotel was the epitome of why 3 star hotels are a hit and miss. With very few services, dated decor and paid parking for 1 night stays i May as well have stayed at the modern looking budget hotel across the yard and saved on the extra costs.

Unsatisfactory. Last time I stayed in this hotel I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This time not. The room was very clean but looked grubby. The curtains are tired, need washing and rehanging. In the bathroom there are no handrails so for a person of limited mobility like me, taking a shower is a high risk activity and getting up from the lavatory requires an effort. When I checked in there was one sad little towel, no tooth glass and one half used toilet roll. As usual the staff are extremely friendly and well trained. The breakfast buffet policy of boil your own egg is simply ridiculous and causes a high wastage rate as most guests crack open the uncooked egg, throw it away and then boil another egg which takes far too long and gives a poor result. These are things all easily fixed. The food over all was very good.

I've been staying at Ibis Brussels Airport for a few months (3 nights a week) and will continue to do so for a further few months. I would not do so if the hotel was unsatisfactory! Of its type it is comfortable, clean and the staff are courteous friendly and helpful.

From checking in to checking out everything was smooth , I ate in the bar, the snack was just what I wanted the bar man and his assistant were very efficient. No problems with the breakfast, plenty of it (my preference would have been to include some bacon, no big deal). Te room was clean and for the amount of people that must stay here the decor was remarkably fresh. The proximity to the airport , the staff and price is the reason I use this hotel when I come to Brussels airport.

« Good place to sleep if you go to the airport or have to work in the area »

I had to work in the area so the hotel was perfectly located, with public transport going to Zaventem or shuttle bus to airport if needed. Good matress for good sleeping and no noise problems with flights of the nearby airport. Breakfast is the same as any other ibis in Europe

I had a short overnight before an early flight out. There was a constant machine noise droning on which did not allow for rest. Also disappointing was the lack of bedside electrical outlets to recharge devices.

It was ok. I had to wait half an hour for the shuttle bus at the airport (I understand it was not something the hotel did wrong, however it did affect my experience waiting in the cold). I have dietary restrictions and due to the limited options available at the restaurant I ended up not having dinner. Also at first the room was cold, it took some time to warm up.

« A satisfactory stay at a reasonable price, except for parking cost »

This hotel is close to Brussels and the Brussels airport, and provides the essential requirements of a hotel at a reasonable price. The wi-fi was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The breakfast price is too high so we brought our own food for breakfast. My main complaint is that the website did not mention the cost of parking, which turned out to be around 10 euros. I felt that was unreasonably high for a budget hotel. But at least it was secure. The AC in the room was also a bit noisy, but I used my earplugs and blocked it out.

« VERY BAD EXPERIENCE »

- PERSONNEL NOT POLITE. THEY WERE CHASING US AS IF WE WERE THIEVES TO PAY ONE COFFEE WE HAD FROM BREKFAST, EVEN IF WE SPENT 200 EUOROS FOR POOR DINNER -NO CLEAR EXPLANATION WHY WE COULD NOT BE REIMBURSED THE TWO NIGHTS ( 150 EUROS) THAT WE CANCELLED.

« Not a good nights sleep »

I found the staff to be a little curt and not very friendly, they did not speak very much English and this may be something to do with it but they were just not warm and didn't explain anything. The hotels is old and slightly shabby and with the extra 12 euros for parking and tourist tax I found the whole stay expensive for what it was. When I tried to order coffee in the morning it was difficult as the girl seemed annoyed with me. The bed was far to soft and felt cheap, the mattress was thin.
