Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. They gave us great recommendations for dinner, helped get us a taxi to the train and gave us great tips on what to see during our short stay. The bar & restaurant staff was also very nice, joking around and making us feel comfortable.

Hotel looks really worn and is in need of a renovation. Gym is garbage (doesn’t even have a treadmill). Outdoor restaurant/bar didn’t even have cushions on the seats. No platinum amenity. I would avoid this property...

See overall experience above. Also when booking on Accor site, did not see any indication that the restaurant was under renovation. Service in bar improved through Larry but only after I called my contacts at Sofitel st. James in London. My contacts in London called Larry your bar manager and he tried thereafter to make up for service. He was professional but we should not have had to get one Sofitel to call another to enjoy quality. Over the years I have stayed at Sofitels and Fairmonts. The Brussels Sofitel Louise was NOT up to standard.

Stayed here for Tomorrowland and the hotel was well located in a Brussels. Lots of shops and restaurants near by. The Conceirge was helpful and assisted us with booking transfers. Etc. They have a beautiful courtyard restaurant and bar. Amazing cocktails.

Hotel was clean. Staff were friendly. Turnover service was a little poor - only curtains were closed and tea bags thrown on the table. Once you arrive at the hotel there is no one at the entrance to help with the luggage. You will need to go up the escalator to meet someone for help.

We had paid for an upgraded room. The one we were placed in seemed to have been fitted into an unusual space. We were unable to effectively block out light with curtains that were well away from the window. The TV in the bedroom effectively blocked access across the foot of the bed. My wife struck her hip twice trying to cross the room before we stopped trying.

It was ok not as good as staying with fairmont. Despite asking for a late checkout I had to negotiate this upon arrival. Also as a platinum member I didn’t receive any welcome packages even though I was advised during booking this would be taken care of. This is the second Sofitel that has missed out on the little experiences I enjoy as a platinum member.
