Fantastic hotel, I look forward to my stays there. I sleep better there than at home. Breakfast is delicious. The check-in was quick and efficient. The person who checked me in was pleasant and professional. I was very pleased to be upgraded. Staff in the breakfast area is always pleasant, in spite of being always super busy. Check out was awkward, seemed I bothered staff who appeared inexperienced and a bit grumpy. They could have been gracious about turning down my request for a late check-out, but the 2 girls at reception made me feel like I was just annoying. I will return anyway, my favourite hotel in Brussels.

Room as fine, beds were good. we booked a parking space for the night. we 've checked in around 6.30 PM and went out for dinner returning around midnight. there was no one to pick up the car when we arrived. no one told us that the service for the pick up stooped at 11.00AM. my husband has to go to the partner garage on its own. the lady from the reception proposed to drive the car to the garage but she was not exactly a "chauffeur". we didn't really trust she could drive the car (a sportive one). Low quality breakfast. poor supermarket ham and cheese, a bit disappointing.

« blocked shower drain caused flooding »

Check in desk staff are great, cleaners are wonderful (multi-lingual, and so friendly), but my room was on a lower floor (1st) and at the front, which meant it was noisy. I always ask a higher-level floor, away from the street and any elevators. Main problem was a (partially) blocked shower drain, which caused the bathroom, hall and part of the carpet to be flooded. I used all my towels, rob and even my duvet cover to soak up water. Hotel was very understanding.

Your rooms and the hotel ambience, is very relaxing and comfortable, the team are very friendly and helpful. I cannot praise you enough. I always hope you have rooms when I come to Brussels. The only experience that let my last stay down, was the food in the restaurent. I ordered the chicken and chips and unfortunately the chicken was dry and tough. I didn't feel it was value for money at all.

« not good value for money- poor service »

poor- upgraded to junior suite very disappointing no water, strange room. poor bar service consistently. taxi was a disaster in the morning I missed my eurosar due to inability to secure a taxi after having ordered abd been told it was 10-15min it ended up being 35-40 and still not arrived I got a lift in a personal vehicle from your very kind concierge but it was too late.

« As Sofitel brand, hotel capacity and atmosphere could be better. »

The hotel was in the heart of the shopping area, we confused once we arrived to hotel . Hotel and room need to be reallocated or re innovated as soon. Housekeeping doesn't speak English and this put the hotel in embarrassed image as Sofitel brand Short of staff in the garden bar , one man show at night !! We had to wait so long to get the menu, order and to pay. I don't like the stay experience.

The hotel is not locatable at first sight. It is difficult to stop just front but doorman and valet help you at once (otherwise, down directly to the public parking lot). Old town accessible on foot and tourist bus stop a few meters away. Lovely staff to the restaurant and to the bar as well as to the reception.
