Lovely welcome , Breakfast had 3 different times of closure 9.30am, 10am and 10.30am Hence we kept missing it,. No late bar so you have to across the road to the Ibis. Good pool . Room clean.

The staff was nice, very good breakfast, great pool. A bit far from the center of Porto but A nice long walk away.

Team at reception and in the restaurant has been very friendly and supportive. Even under stress they have been very friendly with a smile on their face. Room was as expected, I enjoyed that aircon was also cooling the bath room and not just the room. Selection of different fruit juices at breakfast was great. Love the Pan de Nata and local bread.

Certainly up to Novotel standards except for the fact that on the day of departure there was no facility to have a shower after having vacated the room.

Rooms are old, and you should consider to refurbish the Hotel. Breakfast ok, mini bar prices very expensive.

i booked it from our internal tool at adidas. my only slight dis satisfaction was my room was cleaned the second day may 8th , i would see the bed was arranged , but the bathroom floor was not cleaned and the table as well. rest all was great amazing breakfast and dinner .

Disappointed not to be told in advance of the renovations which affected the bar area and the usual excellent facilities. Also, free mini bar, contain water and 1 orange juice !

As always we enjoyed our stay at Novotel Porto Gaia. We stayed 3 nights and we requested to clean our room every day during our stay but it seemed like they didn’t even vacuum the floor and forgot to change or add the supplement we used. It’s something small but we never had any problems before at Novotel Porto Gaia, it just made me surprised. But the rest was great.

I know Accor hotels for a long time. To be honest, got a little disappointed with lack of support when my husband got an accident inside novotel facilities. Only after we came back from the hospital that the hotel acknowledged what happened and tried to offer some assistance.

Wonderful family stay with the usual comfort of Novotel. Very helpful and accommodating personnel. Extremely enjoyable breakfast, rich and very well presented. The hotel is in a perfect position to visit Porto if you are by car or in any case it is just a short and not expensive ride by taxi to any place in town.

Bedroom 216 plug by bed not working and cover plate broken Poor room decoration with horrible textured paint on ceilings and walls We were charged 3 euros for a bottle from the bedroom fridge we did not take. Was refunded immediately No option to book breakfast after you have booked your room online should you decide that you will have breakfast after you check allergen information Rip off of 10 euros each for adults at reception and that’s a special deal. Usually 12 euros .Breakfast same items most mornings and water down cheap juices Not the best location without a car Expect traffic around the hotel in the mornings Disappointed

Booked this place in advance for the family however decided not to go and book breakfast as had some allergen issues at the time Shame the website doesn’t allow you to book breakfast after you booked Spoke to the hotel regarding ingredients and was surprised the price was nearly double what the website was charging for breakfast purchased at reception So for ten euros each you just get the same breakfast every morning. The cakes and fruit seemed to be one order and each morning the same stuff. Three days on the trot scrabbled eggs,bacon and same sausages We had booked six breakfasts however only stayed for three and the remainder were refunded without question The juices are nothing special just a cheap brand put into a jug. Some seem either very bitter like the orange has worn out or watered down. Awful stuff A question whether they are a Novotel as have seen much better standards in these places The bedroom decor is very basic with textured paint used on the walls and ceilings.Its just basic and poor Not happy that they wanted to charge for a bottle from out bedroom fridge which we did not take. Was refunded without further question so worth always checking out with your final bill at reception I expect the Manager to comment but not actually read what I have said and hope I come back next time .We’ll see
