« Convenient and good quality but pricey »

Up to usual high standards of Accor / Ibis, and very convenient location near Brussels' central station. On this particular occasion overnight price was very high, but probably reflects demand spike in Brussels that night.

« Huge hassle with billing »

After online check-in I receive an email titled "Your booking has been changed" and the message says the reservation changed from two days to one. I call to confirm that everything is still in order and get told that there is an issue with my payment -- a payment I've made a month prior and which I clearly saw in my credit card bill. Before this could be resolved I've been transferred to at least four people, usually without any clear description of who that person is or what department I've landed in, and to top it off I've had to describe my problem in Flemish because they refused to speak anything else. In the end someone called me back and almost as an accusation told me "you called earlier today and said there was a problem with the billing -- but Sir, everything is OK!"... The total duration of the phone calls, from my phone calling a foreign number in a foreign country, was 21 minutes before this could be resolved. This resulted in an extraordinary phone bill, despite my protests and pleas to the people I ended up on the phone with to kindly resolve this matter personally at the counter once we were in Brussels. Then we want to check in and the kicker is that the lady working the counter speaks neither French nor Flemish... in the heart of Brussels. Room was good and the other staff very friendly and attentive to my problem, although I couldn't receive an answer as to why suddenly it seemed like my room wasn't paid for, despite the fact that this was done WEEKS before.

« Very disappointing. »

Poor facilities, unhelpful staff and the room was grossly overpriced and noisy - we all commented that the rooms desperately needed triple glazing. Not to mention that in all my years of travelling and staying in 3, 4 and 5 star hotels, I have NEVER EVER experienced being charged to leave luggage for a couple of hours. Overall I expected far better from Ibis, usually when I visit Brusssels I stay in the Aris Hotel - I really wish I had done so this time, unfortunately I thought I would try the Ibis for a change.

Not the first time with Ibis but definitely the best. Staff was so friendly and helpful with every question or request we had. Location could'nt be more perfect, 2 minute's walk from central plaza. Room was small but very pampering, modern, clean and had everything we needed. Central location was not an issue in terms of noise, room was very quiet. We highly recommend!!!

Overall the location of the hotel was perfect. It was right on top of all the major sites you'd like to visit and very close to the train station for any other locations you'd like to visit. The breakfast was good, but a little pricey and having a bar open in the evenings was very nice for later at night. Hotel staff was always very accomodating and had answers and resources we needed throughout our visit. Rooms were quite small and it was somewhat difficult to find room for both of our suitcases, but the bathroom was exceptional in size and quality.

The staff were very helpful. I would have liked a kettle and coffee making facilities, perhaps also a safe in the room. I also asked for a bill that didn't include wine, and paid for it separately, but the bill has included the wine. I have emailed for a new invoice but no reply so far.

« Very basic room for such a price :( »

Perfect location. Clean. Comfortable bed. Breakfast choice is quite good.Room is small and extremely basic! No safe, no tea boiler, just one (!) towel per person, one liquid soap for everything (shower gel, shampoo, hand soap), no hair conditioner. TV set didn't function properly, i couldn't switch it off with the remote control, and couldn't find any visible button on TV set, had to unplug it completely.My daughter felt alergic with the bed linen, she was badly itching after 15 min in bed.The breakfast room is far too small for the number of guests on weekend. No place to sit, extremely crowded. Almost all breakfast food os over-salted. The sound isolation is very poor. You hear talking people, slamming doors, and rolling suitcases from the corridor. You also listen the whole night long the ambulance alarms, and the security alarms of private cars from the street - even with the closed window. If you open the window, the talks and laughters from the street are quite annoying.

I arrived in the morning around 11 and was only hoping to be able to leave my suitcase at the hotel, but I was allowed to check in already! This was a very friendly gesture. I give all 10 points for the service. The room was nice and bed comfortable, too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, something for everyone. We had a triple room, the extra bed wasn’t really suitable for an adult. Our room overlooked the rear of the hotel, very noisy overnight as the Brussels youth congregated there, all having a great time but at 3am we’re too noisy.

Hotel location is its most valuable feature. Efficient check-in/check-out as well as good buffet breakfast were also positives. The room was ok for one night. At the same time I found it somewhat overpriced considering the tiny room with virtually no accessories

As the title says, the location couldn't be better - less than a minute to Grand Place, and we could see the tower from our room. The room itself was OK - the bed was comfy, there was somewhere to sit and it had a good shower. It was quite compact, but that is to be expected in a city centre hotel. The breakfast was good - lots of choice although it could get a bit manic. The only gripe is with the in room drinks - 1 tea bag and 1 milk container! Visiting reception presented us with the opportunity to buy some more!

Room was fairly small, no in-room safe available. Location was excellent and staff was very helpful. Hotel umbrella was extremely useful. On-line check-in was otherwise good but from mobile device it seemed to fail in spite of being successful. Quick check-uot worked well
