The location is excellent and we have been to this ibis Hotel several times over the last few years. The staff is friendly, but not always well trained/competent. When I arrived early one staff told me I could come back at 14.00 o’clock to check in, when I was back on time another told me that I have to wait until 15.00 o’clock, while the first one checked me in finally at 14.15 o’clock. The breakfast has been better and with more variations. Even before 10.00 o’clock items are not replaced or refilled. One sample was Brie cheese, another ham or fruits.

Satisfactory at the exception of small refrigerator lucking in the room.

Looked after well - enjoyed our stay. Nice touch with beer & biscuits in room. Pity no tables outside at until 4.00pm even weekends/nice weather. All around the square rival bars filled! Confusion about items taken from cold cabinet - some reception staff said credit cards only & couldn't be charged to room. Others said Ok. Smaller menu than previously. (not much for none meat eaters) Losing out as couldn't use Ibis discount to best advantage. Little problems - but not enough to prevent us coming back. Hotel clean, staff friendly & helpful. Well located for Central Station/Metro & Grand Place. Will be back for New Year break.

The breakfasts were nice and I particularly appreciated the cashless nature of the hotel. I was able to use my prepaid euro card for everything, even small things like a bottle of water for the room. This reflected Brussels generally I only had to look for an ATM for cash once(to be on the safe side) and hardly used this.in the event..

Room was cozy. There needs to have hot Tea/coffee kettle with Tea & cofee in the room. All hotels provide it as minimum necessary item in the room. Room was clean & all staff members were cooperative. All days breakfast was very healthy and tasty.

Pros Superb location. Clean room. Friendly front desk. Cons Breakfast with limited options. Air too dry in the room. I have allergic rhinitis, so I wake up every morning sneezing.

room tidy and clean, but too much spartan. I would at least appreciate to have found a pen and a notebook paper. The staff needs to get more careful and helpful.

First a trainee did the check in although we did reservation on line. The room was fine. The breakfast was disappointing. The coffee shop did not serve the tea or infusion hot enough. I booked IBIS at Brussels, because IBIS Paris stay was extremely satisfactory.

Check in was easy. The staff were friendly and efficient. The beer selection at the bar was impressive. Maid service was excellent. The room was clean and quiet with good A/C. The bed was very comfortable. It was a nice room to come back to after an exhausting day. The biggest issue centered around breakfast. When we checked in, staff asked us if we wanted to add breakfast. We said no, we did not want to add breakfast. Upon checkout, I was sent an invoice via email with an additional 90 Euro added for breakfast - 15 Euro per person per day. I told staff at checkout we did not eat breakfast and to make sure it was not on my bill. Staff stated that we were not being charged for breakfast and that it was in fact included in the original price I had paid. Wow. That was a total surprise. If we had know that breakfast was included, we would have taken advantage of it. Instead we ate breakfast else where. That was disappointing to find out upon check out.
