« It was pretty much OK apart from attempting to get out of the car park »

on checking out at 3:30am - 4:00am was given a card to use to get out of the car park barrier which did not work. No one bothered to answer the buzzer at the barrier so I had to park up and go back into reception and find someone who was conspicuous by their absence. Eventually found someone after shouting "hello" loudly several times. Still had to wait for the barrier to open after they told me to return to it. Not a great start to my holiday!

Booking the hotel was a nightmare. We were given double instead of twin on arrival but this was quickly sorted out. Room was small but adequate; comfortable and clean. Average breakfast. Wrongly told a shuttle bus went to airport.

Check in fine, friendly staff and gave me a room close to the lifts as requested. Rooms are small but okay for one night stop, I stay here fairly frequently so know what to expect. Good internet and TV, tea making facilities in room, comfortable bed. My only gripe is the restaurant, choice of food not great and not particularly good food.

I always stay with ibis if I can. I thought the shower was nothing special, think bath should be removed and a proper walk in shower installed. Plugs by the bed for iPhone would be good as well

Good to be close to airport, so no panic in traffic heading for flight. Rooms are ok everything needed is there. Breakfast is a bit expensive ,But there is a reasonable choice. the shut down at exactly 10am is a bit off putting.

Staff were efficient overall and hotel was clean. Two negative things were that I stayed for 4 nights and paid for parking at start. One day the member of staff took my ticket that was the receipt for my parking which lead to a delay when I left on the final day as I couldn't prove that I had paid for parking. The other negative thing was the congestion on the access road due to parked taxis. It took me several minutes to access the hotel car park a couple of times. Also, Not sure about the removal of the reception desk. It gave a rather amateurish impression to me.

In regards to the reception desk/lack of we removed it as we wanted to remove the barrier between us and our guest, the mobile check in aims to ensures efficiency and friendliness. Great location but why do you have to over charge on drinks and food, the hotel has a good turnover and does not need to rip off your customer by making them over pay on items they pay enough for the hotel room, parking is not necessary does not warrant £8 just for the 1 night

Usual satisfactory overnight before flying. Food,room,bed and service all OK as expected. Would be good if you could arrange courtesy bus for car hire to stop at hotel,or bus to airport It is hard to leave with your cases and go uphill!

This was my first experience of both Ibis hotels and Luton Airport. The stay at the hotel very much softened the shock of the airport! The 'greeter', not hidden behind a desk, was a new experience for me, but proved to be a pleasant one. I booked an early morning call with them, and received it exactly on time. The restaurant was surprisingly good value, wide choice and efficient. I would definitely stay at another Ibis if they all offer this level of hospitality. Thank you all very much.

« Location ideal for what I wanted »

I stay at the hotel regularly and continue to say that the staff are very good and helpful.Not much to add but really do need to sort out the car parking, surprised for the first time the car park was full and not sure where else you would go, fortunately some movement got me a space, getting out if the car park has always been strange but hey ho.Otherwise all as expected which is what I wanted.

after completing an online check in i was hoping for a key ready on my arrival, our flight to Luton was 4 hours delayed and arriving at the hotel at 01:15 with a 7 years old boy tired and sleepy, got a key given by night shift staff Mr. Martin for room 371 and when entered the room found a couple already sleeping in that room. i was so shocked and embarrassed and had to take my son out from the room and came back to the reception and was not happy that time. Mr Martin was not sure how could this happen and offered us a room on to IBIS budget which means we have to walk next door at near 2 am. i was made sure room is available on that hotel and a full refund will be issued for the inconvenience but that did not happen till now so still waiting. i am not happy at all what happend when i have a very young boy with me and had to go through all this. i want to speak to member of the management team and want full refund and compensation in a free stay. looking forward to hear for you.
