Very good, but room could be some more clean. In room no cup for tea or coffee. Breakfast is good.

My wife and I had a lovely short break. 2 nights at your hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There were only a few of things which we did not think was very well thought out. Firstly the bed was to close to the wall. Why not have it in the middle of the room? Secondly the button to operate the shower was very difficult to pull out to use the shower. Finally we thought the breakfast was slightly overpriced at 21 euro each and could have been slight cheaper to encourage full breakfast for every morning. Other than that a lovely stay. Thank you

Brilliant apart from the bathroom

The staff were helpful, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, but the bathroom was not good. The water pressure in the shower was so slight that it took forever to wash my hair, the pressure was so bad that if you turned the shower head the other way up the water did not clear the head by 2cm. That was my only problem with the hotel, the rest was exactly as expected or better for a three star hotel.

Our room was comfortable and we were made to feel welcome. Initially, we had a big problem gaining access to the hotel. This was because Katelijenestraat was closed to traffic. We followed omleiding signs which disappeared very quickly. We were hopelessly lost. Eventually, when we gained access to Katelijnestraat again, the entrance to the Car Park was completely blocked by a large construction lorry for a further 30 minutes. We were very stressed. This nightmare lasted for more than 60 minutes.

There are indeed road works in the street that gives access to the underground car park. However, the underground parking remains accessible during the works. Very clean and pleasant hotel. The bar could do with a makeover and modernization with maybe the introduction of bar snacks in the evening for those visitors who wish to put their feet up after a long day exploring the city. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and exceptional value!!

We always enjoy staying at this hotel However on this occasion the service was adequate rather than its normal good. Despite staying here several times and being a Gold member the receptionist went through her “ Is this your first time in Brugge?” Speech when a simple look at the system would have told her that we have stayed at the Novotel often. We had tried to extend our one night to two nights. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and we had to move across to the Ibis for our second night. All the onus was placed on us to check several times if there had been a cancellation which would have enabled us to stay at the Novotel a second night. No ownership was taken by the reception staff. Disappointing. Service at the bar is always disappointing. There is always a long wait for someone to attend the bar and serve during the afternoon period.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. It was really family friendly with our little boy being given a gift at check in, the rooms have plenty of space, a cot had been prepared for him, there was appropriate food and facilities at breakfast and there were also areas for him to play. Staff were really friendly and helpful as well. The rooms could benefit from a little modernisation.

I will summarize by saying I hoped I had made reservations at the Ibis across the square instead. Novotel is supposed to be a superior experience, but given this hotel's facilities and state of repair, it wasn't.

We were only staying in Bruges for one night so the Novotel was ideal because it’s so close to all the main sights. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room on the ground floor was very comfortable with a good sized bathroom and everything was very clean.

Staff, room and public facilities generally good. No water on this trip - is that a new policy or just overlooked. If policy, please be careful as the water, kettle and refrigerator are differentiators in staying with you. Breakfast is as usual a lottery but why make the bowls for fruit salad so small ? It just looks mean. The eggs weren't so good this visit. The scrambled egg was solid and the boiled eggs managed (as too many cooked in too little water) to have parts of egg overcooked, other parts uncooked and raw wet. A bit more care here please !
