This is my worse experience after so many stays at your hotel. I requested for a non-slip rubber mat for the bath tub and was given a dirty and fray one. After complaining to your reception it was replaced with another slightly cleaner one. The spread at your morning breakfast have been declining when compared with the 1990s. On the morning of my checkout as I had arranged for a taxi to pick me at 6.45 am, I went to partake my breakfast at about 6.05 am and was told that it would be ready in about 10 minutes, I told your female staff at the door that I will be getting a taxi at 6.45am and I will take whatever food that are available and she reluctantly agreed with a disapproving look on her face.

It was nice to stay again with Siam Square - have stayed there over a period of 20 years now. Staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are so much cleaner feeling without the carpet and the bathrooms are great

« Good except didn’t like the bellboy solicitation of car ride to airport »

Overall stay was good and glad to be upgraded when we returned after our Khao Yan trip but we kept hearing a machine’s loud noise, think it was the lift when upgraded and staying near the lifts. Also, didn’t like a bellboy’s solicitation asking us to take a black car to airport, kept telling us no cab which came likely shortly.

Efficient service, enjoyable stay but falling short on value for money. On this matter, one thing I'm curious about - on checking in, I was told that my experience would be better than last time as the room was deluxe. However, the room was precisely the same as the one I stayed in previously, albeit at twice the price! (I'm aware that the price change was due to late booking and high season).

A good choice location-wise: just a few steps away from the bts and big shopping malls. Overall the stay was satisfactory but I think next time I will take a standard room which is probably better value for money. We had an executive room on the premier floor. In my opinion it’s not worth the extra money: the premier lounge is not located on a premier floor but on the ground floor which is quite busy. In other hotels you get a special feeling of peace, tranquillity and luxury on the premier floor; this is not the case here. Also the room is exactly the same as on other floors and the mini-bar is not included. The room (1625) was ok but a bit small and a bit worn down: in the bathroom the top shower head was not working, the soap tray was not level anymore and the water in the sink was evacuating very slowly. Breakfast is good but very busy. One very annoying thing was the coffee dispensors which were structurally spitting out too much cappuccino for the coffee cups that were provided causing an overflowing mess for each cup 2 days in a row: how hard is it to adjust this or to provide bigger cups?

It was my second time at Novotel and I enjoyed my stay better this time. I loved the personal touch of housekeeping, leaving flowers at the bedside. I had a free upgrade. The premium rooms are excellent. I frequently travel to Bangkok and I now have a better impression of the hotel through this experience than in my last stay. Customer service was also great this time around.

We always enjoy our stays at the Novotel on Siam Square. On this occasion, however, the breakfast was very disappointing as all of the hot foods were cold. We are staying there again on 1st/2nd of March and hope that things will be better.

« All was good except for the breakfast »

We always enjoy our stay at the Novotel on Siam Square but this time, the breakfast was very disappointing as all the hot food, both Asian and English types were cold. We are staying there again for two nights in March( !st and 2nd) and we hope that things will have improved.
