The check-out experience is not desirable. I was being directed from 1st front desk counter but was told that my check-out cannot be processed because the "system is not working". Then, I tried to check out from the Premiere counter (which is across the hall) because it is supposedly a "Personalized check-in and check-out at the Premier Lounge", but the Premiere counter simply "request" me to go back to the front desk to do check out. After I insisted, then 1 Premiere counter lady "accompanied" me back to the front counter but she started to fumble with getting hold of my bills and getting hold of the system. During all this while, I was left standing at the front counter with no one updating me what I am waiting for. As my cab to the airport has already arrived, i have to repeatedly ask her "what am I waiting for" but yet received a blank look and keep on asking me to wait, but not telling me what am I waiting for!! Finally after a few rounds of my repeated "checks", I was FINALLY being told by the counter that I can go now. Things got frustrated when i noticed 2 groups of guests who are also doing checkout in another counter were attended swiftly but I was the only one left infront of the counter, "waiting" for someone to attend to my check out. Nevertheless, hopefully this is just an one-off unpleasant encounter with the Accor Hotels.

Whenever We visit Bangkok, We always spend at least 1 nite in this hotel. Their hospitality is excellent. They always provide us 6-8 bottles of mineral water inside our room and always leave a personal welcome message. Good location and excellent service. Sure we will always come back to this hotel

check in and check out was very smooth. I'm always particular abt the bathroom especially the water pressure and how no complaints here. Lobby at night with the 2 piece band was really relaxing for me and my wife after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. The prawn dinner buffet was the best experience for me. Plenty of seafood and never could get enough of everything. Hotel staffs were very cheerful, smiling always and most important could converse in English. Bravo

Room furniture is new and good Mattress and pillows are the most appropriate to our preference and is the most important. Room acoustic is poor, can hear next room noises Air con is very cold, despite turning up the temp (maybe because I'm stayed in the new wing) TV antenna signal is poor with interference

Every year I go Bangkok sure stay at Novotel siam sq hotel. when we arrived, Main lobby counter service by lady staff was excellent. We saw her past few times. She helped us to get a lovely room. This time, I vomited during my 2nd night stay. Next morning, I told the room cleaner to help wash toilet bowl, but I still could see stains & I hv to wash my own.

Fantastic service. I felt totally welcomed throughout my stay. Concierge staff were fantastic and attentive. Kudos. Areas for improvement: Toilets in the room were not very well maintained. Toilet door lock was spoilt. Plumbing in shower quite poor, often led to water overflowing out of shower.

I've been staying in Novotel @ Siam Sq for all my business and leisure trips. Most stays were lovely and pleasant except for my latest one on 6-8 June. I was staying with a girlfriend (her 1st time to Bangkok) and I highly recommended this hotel. Upon checking, there was no welcome drinks which I usually have. When we checked into the room, we realized that there was no latch on the toilet door, we can't lock the door. We told the concierge, no one came to take a look or repair. Nothing was done at all. The mineral water in the room was also changed to glass bottled water, it has a weird taste and since its glass and we are unable to cap back after opening, we are unable to bring the bottled water out. We have 2 single beds and one of the beds were creaky on every toss and turn. Making my sleep very disturbing. In short, my current stay was below my usual expectations from my past stays.

Check in was fantastic at the executive check in. Staff were friendly in every department. I found the room a bit dated for the price point to be honest. I had some room service. Nachos were a bit small for that price and deconstructed. Tiki Massala was delicious and a good portion size.

3rd return to this hotel. Great service, newly renovated room. Great idea to contain drinking water in glass bottles which are recyclable for use. However, the Hotel May look at: - replacing the clothes hangers which are rather old - current hair dryer made hand held more tedious, to replace with button press

we were upgraded last year but not this year which was fine ... the one thing which is annoying is we have to log into the hotel wifi each and every time we enter and exit the hotel/room/bf area which did not used to happen before. hope this can be improved

Arrived at 5-6 pm yet room was not ready until more than half hour later. Requested for high floor and away from lift yet was given a lower floor nearer to the lift. Checked in room yet bath towels were not in the room. Bath compartment door remained ajar and cannot be completely closed thus caused the outside floor to be wet during a bath. Shower head too high to be reached. Consolation was the upgrade to access the executive lounge and services.
