« A welcome break »

As always, our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The staff are so pleasant and always have a smile however busy they are, although we were very disappointed to learn that David is no longer working in reception. However, Alessia was super efficient. We really enjoyed our short break and look forward to the next one.

Very nice staff. Room was good for 3 people, room fitted 4 people. There was an issue about making the couch bed. This did not work out well. The turn-down service did not work out. Next day's staff apologized and gave us a voucher for 3 drinks at the bar which we were happy with. The front desk staff recommended us 2 nice restaurant were we dined on two evenings. The bartender was very friendly with us.

The hotel location is right behind the Hilton at the Central Station. Ideally located to get pretty much anywhere at ease. The great Accor IT disallowed mobile or desktop check-in, which was the first eye-roll. The second occurred when only one of two rooms was ready at 2 pm. However, we used the time for lunch. Third eye-roll. We provided a business card to make sure that the two rooms are billed to two different people. Of course it was entered but automated invoice mailing sent two bills addressed to one person. Fourth eye-roll, at 2330 hrs (!) staff knocked on my door as computer system didnt show if the room was used (wth?). Was there a VIP at check-in to provide the room to otherwise, or why can this not be clarified the next morning? Fifth eye-roll, loyalty status was not recognised / overseen and only upon request the drink voucher was provided. The hotel itself is a typical Novotel. Not more not less. Breakfast was okay. Would I stay here again? While the price was okay for Brussels due to a sale a few months before actual stay, there are enough alternatives. 180 Euros per Night - on sale -, in my point of view, is too much...

This hotel is situated in an excellent location to explore the city. The room was clean (although there was some sort of a smell in the corridor that continued in the room, which might also be related to the odour of the cleaning material). The breakfast was also rich and very good.

The hotel room was tired and reception underwhelming. Breakfast was average. Reception was slow and understaffed. On checkout, my prepaid booking was lost and they attempted to charge me again. After 20 minutes, it was found and I was not charged again. However, it was an uncomfortable experience. Good location however but overall, the hotel did not live up to its hype.

Wonderful friendly intelligent receptionist at 23.40 when I arrived. I got an "executive" room. But I have to report that ordinary rooms are better for the business traveller. - there is no desk to work at - there is only one door between the bedroom and the corridor, so you are woken by noises from the corridor. In "ordinary" rooms in the same hotel I think there are two doors. Even in your neighboring Ibis hotel there are two doors between bedroom and corridor. I did not need the bath (shower is enough) or the sofa. I would have preferred a (twin or) single bed. There was one spot on the toilet floor; otherwise it was clean.

Staff were friendly and helpful. There were still coffee stains on the table in my room from a previous guest when I checked in. Also paper cups !! Something I might expect in a 2 star hotel. Disappointing.

Very close to a 10 point in my stay at this great hotel... as always a very good hotel with great location in the city, great and service minded staff and a great restaurant with a really good bartender, I have met him several times and I know a person with full focus on service when I see one... so good and perfect service.... looking forward to next time, probably in the end of next month, and this same hotel... bringing som collegues and they shall stay here too...!!

The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, being attentive to the kids and going beyond expectations tonhelp celebrate our babygirl birthday. We had dinner in the restaurant and were nicely surprised by the quality of the dishes we were served.
