« a great stay despite the "extras" »

The hotel was amazing, great location, amazing staff and large rooms. although when we arrived in the room i unrolled one of the towels to find stain marks which look liked feces, to my horror i called doen to reception and they dealt with the issue within minutes but this should of not happened at all. the room its self was very clean but because of this towel i hate to rate it as poor.

« Not worth the price »

The rooms are nice but I do not like the set-up with the individual toilet outside the bathroom. When on business travel with suitcase and a busy schedule, it was annoying to be on the 2nd floor and having to move the the 3rd floor through many doors and corridors in order to get to the lobby.

I always enjoy staying here even if it's for one night. A 5-minute walk from Central Station, a two-minute walk from restaurants, shops, and Grand Plas. Room is clean and the staff always professional and smiling!

We enjoyed an upgrade to an executive room, great facilities, always cleaned thoroughly. Breakfast could be hit and miss often very busy, items running out with a wait to be replaced.

« Good, but needed prompting »

Nice hotel, lovely and helpful staff. Moved room immediately when we asked to because of a smokey smell in one room. Required a lot of clarifications with reception with multiple room bookings and wrong room allocated in one circumstance. All requests dealt with promptly however and I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

The toilet is separate from the shower and doesn't have a sink. Have to go to shower where the sink is, to wash. However, the staff were accommodating to change our room when the shower drainage outlet was blocked.

Sometimes there is a problem during a stay. The actual problem is less important than how the staff deals with the problem. We had a pretty significant problem in our room (sewage coming up through the shower drain) but the staff responded quickly and resolved the problem by immediately moving us to an (upgraded) room and giving us coupons for drinks at the bar. One might be tempted to blame the hotel for the problem but every home owner knows that no matter how carefully one maintains their property, sometimes things break without warning and all you can do is deal with the problem. I was satisfied with the staff response. Besides being a comfortable lodging for 4 nights, the location absolutely cannot be beat. The staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful.

Dears, As mentioned at the location, I was pretty disappointed this stay. We were with 3 persons, but when we arrived only place for 2 persons to sleep After we asked to make a couch with sheets, the answer , we will do this at 1800 When we came back at 20.00 ... Still no sheets, and the lady from the reception had to do this herself, and we delayed our dinner plans Coming back from dinner, ready to go to bed. There were blood stains on the inside of the sheets of the master bed. Never saw something like that before!! (see picture) So we need to get dressed again an waited to someone to change the sheets The person who did this , never did this before , so he asked if we could do the last part ourselves ... « I have stayed at this hotel several times before, but this stay has seriously changed my opinion for the worse »

Very unsatisfied with this stay. I have stayed at this hotel several times for both business and personal travel. This was by far my worst experience. Everything did not meet my expectations. The initial first impressions of checking in, the check-in colleague forgot to offer me a welcome drink, the room allocated was very small and poor, there was no hot water for the shower, the bar service staff were unfriendly and did not seem to care, checking out process was very poor. The overall experience was extremely poor. Please recognise that i am a frequent traveller to many hotels around the world and am loyal to Accor. The staff at this hotel need to improve their service level overall, the standard fell far short of my expectations.
