The hotel is very well located. The room was clean, but very small, no space at all to put your luggage and the closet was very small and difficult to access. Nice personnel, decent breakfast, good bedding.

Staff was less than helpful. We had a car and when we asked where the hotel's parking was we were directed to drive down a one way street the wrong way. Staff neglected to tell me I could park in public parking for free over night and Ibis charged me for parking in its parking lot. Restaurant recommendations were also lackluster.

A very nice stay and desk attendant Sabrina did a great job. However, when we returned home we could see that our account had (4) separate large charges. The one for 423.70 Euros ($469.14) was correct and the other 3 totaling more than $1,400 were incorrect and apparently entered on September 16. I reported back to my Citi Card Business card and the charges have been contested. Tonight, I checked and they are shown as pending and should disappear.

Room stank, and staff signed me up for a membership club without permission

The room periodically filled with a smell of sewage, which lasted for a few hours. My friend who stayed a few rooms away had same problem. Staff signed me up for a membership club without my permission, under the guise of it being part of the check-in process. They are now spamming me daily. Unacceptable violation of privacy laws.

Quiet hotel in a great location

Had a 2 night stay here. Comfortable room overlooking the courtyard. Quiet location close to chateau and to the start of parkrun, which was the reason for our visit. There's no tea/coffee making in the room and the price for a coffee was more expensive than the local bars/cafes so we didn't use the facilities in the hotel. We also found that breakfast would have been too expensive for what we would have eaten (coffee and cereal or a pastry) so, again, we chose to eat ours elsewhere. A shame really. Pleased that there was underground car parking, but we would have had a problem if we had used our larger car as the spaces were very tight to manoeuvre in to. Overnight cost was reasonable though. The town is lovely and we enjoyed our time in Fontainebleau.

This Ibis was in a great location with underground parking for 8 euros which was really handy. Staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good.
