Overall it was good. There were two main issues I had: 1. My room was next to the elevators and the noise from them kept me from sleeping. 2. I had no control of the AC because the overall AC was shut down for the hotel and the room was too hot.

Overall it was very enjoyable from the moment we arrived with a warm welcome through to the moment we left. Our one major disappointment was the quality of the breakfast. Limited choice, the milk was off - returned it to the waitress - which was below our usual experience of a Novotel breakfast. The room was great, modern decor and very comfortable. staff very friendly and warm; just the breakfast was below par.

We did in advance stated we will need car park space since we drive an expensive car we are not comfortable leaving on the street. We arrived on Saturday 27th October 2018 at around 20:30, we enter the Hotel car park and there is one space available, unfortunately, the car parked next to it was very close to the line not allowing us to park. We enquiry with reception and the words were thst he was not able to identify who the driver was and that we could park in the street instead. I state that we are not comfortable parking in the street and that the private car park was the reason we chose the hotel. We are not offered any other solution, really fustrating knowing there is space but a badly parked car does not allow us to use it. We end up parking in Indigo public car park which we found by ourselves, stressing about the safety of the car and walking 20 minutes at night back to the hotel from the car park itself.

The hotel is very good, the rooms are modern and clean. Parking is available underneath the hotel at a cost of 12€ for the night. Whilst it is possible to walk to Versailles, it is at least 20 mins away on foot. Breatfast was ok with plenty of choice.

Why don't you have a toilet cleaner in the toilet room?! You know the stick with a brush at the end which you can use to clean the toilet when you're done using it. How else should I clean the toilet when I am done using it? Another thing is that I expect a clothing iron to be present in the room of a 4 star hotel.

Room was a pleasant surprise, modern and clean. Bed very comfortable. A wider range of pillows would have been beneficial and more tea and coffee provisions in the room were needed. Maid entered room without knocking whilst do not disturb sign was showing.

We arrived quite exhausted after a long day. The receptionist was kind, helpful and checked to make sure our room was ready so that we could go straight to the room. I wish I had the name of the receptionist who was on duty on the front desk at 2pm on Friday 21 September, she was excellent. During our stay, reception staff were particularly helpful with inquiries, directions and assistance with our luggage and while we waited for our transport to arrive on Saturday afternoon.
