Me and my wife have been in numerous Accor hotels and sadly we have to say that the Novotel Versailles was clearly the worst experience we have encountered. The Check-in staff were polite and friendly as were the staff serving dinner. However, the staff manning breakfast and the food offered were big let downs to a brand like Novotel. Firstly, we were told that breakfast were to be served until 9.30AM. Thereby, we had no rush and came downstairs at around 9AM. As we arrived and to our surprise, the staff seemed in a hurry to pack everything. There was literally no hot food remaining (except for scrambled eggs) so we decided to ask for additional food. One of the staff members told us that he would come back to us, an answer that we are still waiting up to this day. Also, the staff seemed rushed and even unpolite when we asked them about whether or not there would be more food coming and whether or not they had fresh juice available. As a Gold Accor member, I have to say that this is just unacceptable for the price charged for Breakfast. The "Room Service" was also a big let down, to say the least. We were told that it was available until midnight and when we ordered food at 3PM the staff told us that the kitchen was closed and that from a Menu of around 20 options we only had 2, Duck and Salmon. Also, the prices charged for such "delicacy" are absolutely ridiculous (18€ and 16€). Everything else was what we expected from the Novotel brand. The room was comfortable and neat. The Wifi coverage was also impeccable.

No slippers, no shoehorn, elevator machinery by the wall shaking the room 213. Embarrassing for a hotel featuring 16,50 breakfast. Decide which way to go.

« Perfectly fine hotel »

Perfectly fine hotel. Super-friendly staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. Clean room, but nothing more than that, so pretty basic. Room had a door to the next room in it (I guess to serve as family room); quite noisy, did not seem to be a double-door....? Also, could not see it was actually locked...? Seemed to be the same door as the other doors in the room with no lock...???????

One receptionist great the rest poor and un professional .. Shower had no pressure could not have a proper shower was Luke warm ! Bed was comfy .. Tv stopped working staff were informed they said they would come fix it straight away.. had to call again 30 minutes later he lyed and said thought he was told room 306 when it was 316 !! New year's eve !! 1150 pm

I loved my stay at Novotel Versailles! Clean, quiet room with extremely comfortable bed, great bath and shower. And the food in the restaurant was so good! The desk staff were extremely helpful and kind. And great location for exploring Versailles!

The hotel is clean and quiet. It is rated as a 4 star property but it is more 3 stars. No slippers, robes and the breakfast is more typical North American 3 star business hotel style and not French. Nothing was very fresh.

The room was within proximity of the lift and every time the lift went you could hear it from within the room, so at times there were constant mechanical noises ringing throughout parts of the room. The room itself was otherwise okay, the bathroom was nice, but the room was rather plain in general. The bedding was nice too.

When I arrived, no up-grade was proposed to me whereas I am a AccorHotels card holder with Gold status In my room, I've had to beg to get some slippers The room service menu in the room was the old one. I've had to ask for the new one Room comfort was decent and room service and breakfast were ok
