« Waited for 2 hours before getting a room even if I am Elite member »

I arrived early in Paris and Immediately went to Novotel. Unfortunately, I was told that there were no rooms available. OK I understand so I sat in front of the chairs at the lobby. 45 mins after still no room, so I went to the front desk again and he said sorry still no room. OK, fine so I sat again and 1 h 30 mins later, I felt I was being ignored, since a lot of people arrived and looked like they were given rooms. So I approached the front desk again and requested a room, I am now looking annoyed. When he said sorry, I stopped him there, and I asked to to check if there were rooms available. This time he called someone, and he then told me that that yes there is one room available for me, after 2 hours of waiting. The guy did not offer any apologies for the wait but in fairness he allowed me to take my breakfast since I was just there for the day. The other thing that ticked me off is that my stay will not be credited to my accor membership. This is the first time that they told me this, while my previous stay in this Novotel has always been credited. I have been loyal to accor for many years and only this time that I felt ignored as a customer. I hope this is just a fluke if not I will have to reconsider to find business else where ...Thanks! We loved our stay at the Novotel with its quick access to Terminal 3 or the shuttles. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was the best breakfast we've ever had at a hotel. Fabulous service from the front desk folks and wonderfully appointed children's corner in the lobby. We would heartily recommend this hotel to families for its ease of access to transportation and excellent amenities.

i arrived wednesday evening, late. i left on Friday at 10h30. the parking cost was Euro56.50! i do not know how that fee for a motorcycle is justifiable, i will def inform my club and friends to stay away from Accor Hotels if that is your parking fees.

Airport car parks are free nowhere and if this was the case for one place he would be stormed. We are tenants of the Paris Airport Group and the same goes for our parking Our prices are however 40% cheaper than the airport car parks. « Easy access hotel »

Due to the SNCF strike, we had to stay in Cdg for one night. This was our first stay here and it was good. Easy to find and steps away from terminal 3. Since we were traveling with our 1 year old, we appreciated the crib in the room for him to sleep. The room are as advertised, lobby personnel is very helpful and attentive. Never heard a plane which was amazing.

Accommodation was very good however, the evening meal was very poor. Both my husband and I had steak medium, mine was served blue and this is being kind, when I sent mine back it was returned as is over cooked. The waiting time alone meant my husband and children had already eaten their food before this was returned. I sent it back again and had to wait a further 20 minutes, before I received a new steak -No apology nor asked if the third time steak was ok which again was still undercooked however better than the first two offerings. We were meant to eat at the restaurant again the following evening however as the food was so poor it as not really an option. Would say the breakfast was good though.

« Just what I needed from an airport hotel »

First thing - this is actually a relatively easy hotel to find within Charles de Gaulle, which is most certainly not true of all hotels. You don't need to take a bus; instead, take the CDGVAL to terminal 3, also marked for the Novotel, and walk outside. So much easier than wrestling with the many multi-coloured bus lines! The hotel itself is just what you need from an airport hotel - clean, comfortable bed, decent bathroom. This doesn't matter to everyone, but I also liked the fact that there was a kettle and a little fridge in the room. And the hotel staff were really helpful and friendly, which again, isn't always the case.

We had a very smooth check-in. We needed to find out where to get gas for our rental car and someone at the desk was able to tell us where we could fill the tank. The short walk to the shuttle train was very convenient!

Prior to travel I purchased a room. Due Paris rail strike it was necessary to move the reservation backward one day. Hotel said no! Reservation held was not changeable. They only needed to change the date in computer as there was available space. I was forced to abandon the purchased room and make a new reservation at DOUBLE the rate. Upon departure noticed they had incorrectly added a restaurant charge. Room was great reservation/pricing policy stinks.

Dear Customer, I understand your dissatisfaction and disappointment but the booking conditions you have agreed specify the non refund and not cancellation. it's the same as for a train ticket or for a plane ticket but except that everyone here finds it normal. You have booked on a website that does not allow the booking to be moved by us. sorry for that but you have to understand we hope to see you again Lionel Vanderlooven General manager
