We had originally planned to stay one night but it turned into two due to one of us being ill and the staff on reception, in the bar and indeed generally could not have been more attentive or helpful. They were very caring towards my teenage daughter when she had to be left alone for a few hours due to a hospital visit and I felt very grateful for this level of kindness.

« No HOT water & cold breakfast. »

I have stayed with Novotel many times before & have never encounted any problems but this time there was no HOT water for a shower or a bath only mildly warm water. on reporting was told nobody else has complained. Breakfast was again NOT HOT the bacon & eggs had been there about an hour by the look & taste of them, fried bread was stone cold & the milk for cereal was warm not cold. overall this was not a pleasent stay.

« Pleasant hotel, breakfast a little disappointing »

Pleasant enough hotel, starting to look a little dated in places. Stairwells and doors looked really quite old and tired. Room was good, nice facilities and spacious. WiFi was nice and fast. Room TV reception was a little glitchy at times. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, it had been left on the warmers quite a while by the looks of it.

Have stayed at Novotel Stevenage on many occasions previously as family live in the area. Rooms very comfortable and newly decorated as is the Dining area. The staff serving breakfast very pleasant and helpful as before. A busy hotel next to A1M. Very reasonable cost.

Staff swearing in front of customers between themselves, picking nose behind the bar. Menus stained and dirty, the food is over priced and of poor quality. I previously complained and was informed a manager would call me but received no call.

« An overnight stay to enable us to see the Motown Show at the Shaftsbury theatre London »

Excellent as usual. We have stayed on many occasions as my wife's parents lived in Stevenage . The new décor is excellent and the room facilities are what we expected. We particularly like the breakfast and as usual all of the ladies serving breakfast went that extra mile to make us welcome and ensure we had drinks , toast and jam etc.

Took my partner and children with me on my business trip so it was business and pleasure. The gentleman in a suit on reception wasn’t the happiest of people and came across quite rude however the lady later on reception was courteous and very helpful. The room was lovely and we were impressed by the quality of the mattress/bed. The breakfast quality wasn’t very good. We went for breakfast at 8.30 on Sunday morning and it was clear the food had been sitting there for a while. The scrambled eggs were dry on top, the hash browns were again hard and dry. However as my partner was vegetarian we were given hot fresh veg sausages. There also didn’t seem to be enough staff in the hotel.

My car was bumped in the car park. I spoke with reception to see if you have cctv. My details were taken and I left my phone number but no one has bothered to contact me. I left a top in the wardrobe by mistake, two phone calls to see if it had been found, one went to voicemail so I left my contact details but no response. I called a second time and spoke to someone who said they would ask someone and call me back, still no call back!
