I only stayed one evening, enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant and popped out for a nice walk towards the park after. Sadly, on leaving in the morning you can see where other guests have eaten by the McDonalds and KFC litter all around the bins. Why individuals think it OK to just throw it near a bin is beyond me but this behaviour is no fault of the hotel and really they shouldn't have to clean up after these idiots but there you are. Breakfast was nice and I checked out with no problems at all.

I had to change rooms because the bathroom shaver point was non functional. I stayed for 3 days and my bed linen was not changed

It was a short stay of no more than about 12 hours in the hotel, so little chance to be experience the hotel to give a higher score. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff were welcoming, although a little confused by the fact that I had part-paid with points, so they couldn’t give me a bill when we checked out and I haven’t received one by e-mail (which they said they would do instead.

Booked well in advance, made extremely clear was a business stay and required invoice in company name. Reiterated on arrival - but check in receptionist was too lazy to deal with that request at that time. Then took a significant delay on check out to get the invoice to show the company name. I simply don't have time to mess about whilst admin staff don't know what they are doing. Hotel itself, rooms and food and cleanliness were all good

Fine thanks but there was unpleasant smell in my room. A sort of musty smell as if previous people had smoked in the room or maybe a dog had been staying in the room

We stayed one night to attend an event at the hotel. The rooms are basic motel style, new stylish bathroom, clean and functional , tea and coffee making facility in the room. My husband left his wash bag behind and when I telephoned, the receptionist kindly located it for us with housekeeping and arranged to post it back to us during the week; she could not have been more helpful.

My stay at the Novotel hotel was very pleasant, the fact the rooms have a small fridge to keep your drinks cool is brilliant, the rooms are extremely spacious and shower is the best

Receptionists seemed to be doing a bit of training and didn't say hello until I spoke first. Smiling must be in the next lesson along with directing me to use the number plate screen. Rest of the stay was fine.

Initial receptionist very frosty & unwelcoming, I only saw her on checking in and checking out. She never asked if my stay was ok etc. Bed comfortable, but duvet split in half with a zip wasn’t. Toilet door didn’t open enough so very cramp. Plastic glasses not 4*. Menu was boring and food cooked and served with bland garnish.

Wasn’t great at all. Wine glass was absolutely filthy , I took it back and then they couldn’t find a clean one out of the pile they had so had to open a box of new ones. Food had been left out in the stair well (that every guest passes) for two days and the smell from was awful. The restaurant couldn’t open until 6.30 because there wasn’t enough staff for the second time in two weeks. I never write reviews but it really wasn’t great .
