The hotel and breakfast was excellent, but since I have been home I received a citation from Parking Eye fining me for 2 hour period during my 4 night stay. This is huge inconvenience trying to fight. I enter my car into the hotel reception computer on arrival so why I am having to through this is beyond me.

« Nice hotel no pedestrian access »

Really liked the hotel, but there is no safe pedestrian access. This needs to be published to help clients selecting a hotel. I had to use a taxi on a regular basis.

The hotel is located for easy access to the motorway. The accommodation was good. The only problem was the heat was not working properly in the room. The Manager spoke to me in the morning and apologise for the lack of heat. He was pleasant and polite. This was a one off incident because I have stayed at this

I was on business and therefore did not spend a great deal of time within the hotel except for sleeping and breakfast. The hotel was well run and the food was good. The bed and bedding was great and the bathroom and facilities more than adequate.

I like the hotel - size of room, parking outside the hotel, restaurant on site....but the heating doesn't work well in the room & despite me raising this issue, it wasn't resolved to a satisfactorily conclusion.

Had to try two rooms. Still didn't warm up despite receptionist support. I have stayed here before without a problem. I had to work from the room, so it didn't help with the room being cold.

« Lovely hotel with a minor inconvience. »

This hotel is in a great location right next to the A1(M). The hotel is well furnished and the staff were extremely welcoming. Our room was of excellent quality and all was well until the toilet broke early in the morning (no flush at all). Thankfully we were very close to the 'public' toilets by the meetings rooms so these were used as a backup. Our faulty toilet was fixed whilst we were at breakfast. The bar and restaurant were very good. My only gripe with the bar was the price of drinks (£8+ for a large glass of wine, £5+ for a bottle of cider). This is common with all hotels I've stayed in though and one of the reasons why I drink so little whilst away!
