I had an extremely enjoyable experience staying at the Stevenage Novotel. Alert receptionists who booked taxis and alarm calls proficiently. A clean room with everything one could want for an overnight stay, with a good tasty breakfast the following morning.

Reception greeted me as if I was arriving home after work. Very welcoming and my favorite room was allocated. Had a bar dinner and the quality of the food, together with the service was wonderful. Breakfast, as always was a wonderful experience with Jane and Jo.

« Enjoyed the quiet room and facilities. »

It was a busy night but the room was well soundproofed so we didn't get disturbed. Clean bathroom lovely shower and toiletries but carpet very stained in more than one area which was disappointing. The bed was too hard for one of us but that's personal preference. Missed the bottles of water in the fridge that were there on previous stays. We like having the fridge to keep our own fresh milk in. No bottle opener! On this occasion and a previous stay two different bar staff not aware of Bailey's measure, had to point it out both times. Nice that we were left alone in the morning because we didn't want breakfast, we wanted to make the most of the room. Good heavy curtains. Very nice helpful and polite staff on duty.

hotel is average, we stay here often. most staff are very nice. this visit was awful and has put us off using hotel. when checked in got told theres a soul night on, all evening the noise so so loud you could it over the tv. at 3am in the morning there was cars beeping there horns, people shouting and running down the corridoors. worse night sleep ever

The room was well set up - great to have two single beds rather than a double sofa in the family room. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was the best we have ever had at a Novotel. Only negative was that we used the bar, looked like Guinness was on tap, ordered one and it came from a can. Bartender could have said before serving it. Minor disappointment.
