« Great Hotel with really freindly staff and great food. »

We were over for an Andre Ruie concert and the Hotel ticked all the boxes with Buffet Meal prior to the concert and even laying on a shuttle bus. I would highly recommend it.

Room was basic but okay. Staff were mostly surly with the exception of Mitchell, Josh, the English waiter and one other male receptionist. The female at the breakfast counter was particularly unhelpful Food was very limited and badly cooked The room maid refused me access to washbasin having just used the toilet as she wanted to vacuum the vinyl floor covering outside the shower room (washbasin is located not in toilet but in shower room). How rude and unhygienic was that? Tongs were lacking in some areas of the dining area meaning guests used hands to obtain some foodstuffs e.g. biscuits, pastries and several other items. Toaster (one slice) was totally inadequate Refusal when requesting food items be replenished (at 10.00am when breakfast was on until 11.00) Bar staff were inefficient. Our Dutch friends could not believe how long they had to wait for drinks Nice pool area was best thing about the hotel Courtesy bus service was extremely limited given distance from town centre A disappointing experience overall. Didn’t Come up to other Novotels’ standards.

Excellent room, good service in bar and restaurant. Reception was busy, but very helpful. Have emailed the hotel regarding the duplication of points being deducted. Hopefully it will be resolved.

A comfortable hotel with helpful and friendly staff on reception and in the restaurant and bar. The room was a decent size, the bed comfortable and there was a wide range of good food on offer for breakfast and evening meals.

« Not the best Novotel, but it has some good points. »

I don't see the point of online check in when it takes so long to still check in. Easy to park and staff helpful with taxis, transport to Andre Rieu, although the drop off point left a lot to be desired. The rug in our bedroom was vile and did not serve any purpose, the waste on the wash basin smelt, no toiletries one day and coffee, tea and milk also forgotten. Excellent dinner and service at the restaurant , breakfast staff pleasant, but would have like more hot food choices.. Don't like coffee from a machine and a proper toaster would improve things.

« We were very satisfied from the stay »

We stayed for 3 night / 4 days with my wife. I have to say, that polite and helpful personal contributes 50% to the stay i the hotel. We were satisfied from the room and services provided by the hotel. Snack voucher was something new I have never had in the previous accor hotels, and it makes filling different. Was couple of times asking for some help to reception and was provided excellent support. In the first day our room hasn't been cleaned because we stayed longer in the hotel, and we were really glad having the bag with clean towels left on the room handle. It is just so easy, buy makes the feeling the hotel really cares of you. Thank you!

« Decent hotel but not 4* »

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and functional but the decor was dated. The pool area was lovely to relax by on a hot day and it was nice to have a the gardens and a table tennis table. It was disappointing that breakfast was not included in the room rate and it was not good value to pay for as an extra. The other issue was that the free shuttle was always fully booked, so we were forced to walk all the time, not ideal for a hotel that is situated outside the centre. Overall an enjoyable experience.

« Hotel very nice, but some service not good, very disappointing »

On the first night we were there Monday 11 June we had some drinks at the bar, beer and white wine. After I paid the bill I noticed the barman had charged an extra 25 euros for a bottle of wine which we did not have, he obviously refunded the money and apologised. On our last night Wednesday 13 June I went to the ladies toilet near reception, went into the first cubicle to find there was no toilet paper. I went to reception and the young man said they were very busy?? , but he would take care of the problem. I returned to the same toilet one hour later and nothing had been done!! I call this very poor service indeed and very embarrassing for the next user. The above comment written by Erica T..

Super friendly staff, that gave my dog some treats, clean rooms. My complaint is that I was automatically charged for breakfast, even though I never said I wanted breakfast. Please don't automatically add charges that I did not expressly commit to.

« Pleasent stay in Maastricht »

Coming with a couple off rare antic cars we have been recommended to move the cars behind a fence because they would be more protected. We didn't ask for it but this was very considered from the staff. Rooms are nice as always at Novotel but the Croissant at breakfast was out from the plastic bag and not good.

The room was clean & well maintained. I prefer one king bed than two singles pushed together though. There wasn't any in-room irons so I had to request one which didn't come until I directly asked housekeeping.

After checkout we surpisingly found charges for the services we didn't use. Hotel employees simply ignored my attempts to clarify this. I won't igonre such fraud.
