The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel is very clean and the Privilege Room was very spacious. The only thing I didn't like was the bath tub / shower situation. It was rather awkward to shower in the bath tub and there was not enough space under the shower curtains to stand with it closed all the way around. A plain shower in the same space would be a solution I would have preferred. Other than that a great hotel and I'm happy to stay there again.

The experience was very good and completely satisfactory. The hotel is neat and clean and the staff is very helpful. It's also extremely well located with lots of restaurants and grocery shops very close by and the metro station just a short walk away.

In spite of the fact that the price was quite high (although I am part to blame as I booked the previous night) I’m really disappointed by the standard , yet this is typically what to expect from hotels in Paris

Absolutely no complaints. Very cozy room with all amenities (safe, mini fridge, good wifi, coffee/tea facilities) Staff very welcoming and pleasant Excellent location. Within walking distance from Gare du Nord, if arriving from CDG on RER B. This is now where I will stay when in Paris.

pleasant and helpful staff, clean and light room. it was hot weather (26 degrees plus) during our stay and the air conditioning couldn't keep the room cool. noise from the street meant that we couldn't sleep with the windows open. a meagre one small bottle of water for two guests was an insufficient welcome gesture. the food at breakfast was ok however the breakfast service area is very cramped and, compared to other hotels in this group, disappointing. if i stayed here again i would breakfast externally.

I was visiting the hotel for a birthday celebration which I informed the hotel about. The hotel was clean but very dated and old fanshioned. From a Mercure 4 star hotel which was pretty expensive, I was expecting a lot more. Both rooms were very small for two people to stay in and had a lot of things broken things including the front door handle which fell off every time we closed the door. I also thought one bottle of water to share for two days in a very hot warm was poor, alongside the breakfast which had little option including gluten free bread which had mould on it. I must say the location of the hotel is great and was easy to get to and from places with plenty of restaurants and cafes to visit. Unfortunately I will not be recommending this to any of my business travelers or family or friends as it was well below expectations. Thanks, Louise

Our hotel is iocated in a historical building, typical of the 30s. in a Art deco style and enterely refurbished in the respect of the style. This was a nice hotel with a good breakfast buffet (extra cost). A bit of a walk to the metro, but not too bad for getting around Paris. I like smaller, cozy hotels so this was nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The only downsides were the occasional street noise and the room was rather warm even with the air conditioning -- it would never cool down to a comfortable temperature.

We had a "privilege" room which boasted a tub and a wand shower. The curtain was a circular affair hung from a central point over the tub. It was impossible to shower without soaking the floor of the bathroom. Keeping the curtain inside the tub meant having to stand on it while showering. Very uncomfortable. Also, the tub was so high that my partner, who has Parkinson's disease, was unable to get in and out of it. Finally, the little stool is not a satisfactory substitute for a chair. We have stayed at this location previously but will not return.

The hotel in general was fine however the bathroom was a poor design with no shower walls so water flooded every morning. The cleaning was also substandard with dirty cups. The hotel is just not a 4 star hotel!

The location is great, easy access to metros, restaurants, cafes and you can even walk to major department stores if you love walking. There were two downsides; AC/ heater is restricted depends on the season so even it was really cold night, there was no heater to warm up the room although they gave me a blanket. Another thing is, leaning lady came in even there was “do not disturb” hanging on the door, not just once, two days consecutive. I left hanging it while going out, but bed making was done.

« Good apart from unexpected breakfast bill »

All good until we discovered on departure that we had been given incorrect information on our first evening. We stayed as two couples, each had made our own reservation. We could not remember if our booking had included breakfast. We made multiple inquiries at reception on the Friday evening, we were told that our package included breakfast. On departure on Monday morning we were given a bill for the breakfast that we had been told was included. This was very disappointing and not our usual Accor hotel experience.
