Found the hotel exactly as described on the website, and had an easy check in. The check in area was very basic but functional. We felt the hotel was trying to encourage guests to check in online. Room key worked first time and the room was clean and fresh when we walked in. Hanging space was plentiful but no wardrobe. bed was comfortable with extra pillow available in the room. Plug socket with USB charging points was a great idea. Bathroom was small but clean and had a removable shower head which is a plus. Only one towel each which was unusual. When we arrived back just before midnight, the front door was locked, but the friendly security guard was on hand to open it and ask for our room key to prove we were guests. It was good to know security was provided. We checked out easily in the morning and did not take the breakfast option. A good overall stay at a reasonable price, I would recommend this hotel.

Easy check in, did it before arrival. Small but functional room with everything we needed. Great shower, comfy bed and crisp bed linen. Plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast good, though the service was slow.

We had a good stay. The bed was a good size, comfortable with good linen. Bathroom was clean and well fitted out, although a hand towel would have been useful. We like the single, multi use toiletry soap. The room was quieter than expected and heating and aircon available although we didn’t need to use it. Good to be able to open the window too. Ran out of teabags and sugar on the tea tray (we don’t drink coffee) although we did manage ok. Reception staff polite, cheerful and helpful. Really appreciated that parking was available at the hotel, especially the blue badge parking, which we needed for my husband.

I enjoyed my stay here, fab location and the room had most things I needed (an iron would have been a bonus!). I slept well and the room was clean which are the two main points for me. The noise from next door was a little bothersome but once the gentleman eventually got off his phone it was fine! May I suggest that when a woman is staying alone in the hotel and there is a queue behind (or not) that the key is not presented with the receptionist loudly announcing the room number please? It's just a safety point worth considering. Overall however it was a great stay, thank you.

You know what you're getting when you book an Ibis - no frills, but spotlessly clean and a comfortable night's sleep. We felt that this particular hotel wasn't quite up to the usual Ibis standard, but only in terms of decor (stains on carpet, skirting board loose, friend's room smelt mouldy). And although we enjoyed our breakfast in Cafe Rouge, we did miss the buffet breakfast we have enjoyed previously.

The hotel was clean and appropriate. The bathroom was an adequate size. The room itself was a little too cosy and the twin beds were awkwardly placed next to each other.

A clean basic hotel close to all amenities. It suited my purposes well as I was travelling alone. If my wife had been with me, it may have been a bit of a squeeze. However, there are probably larger rooms.
