1. Room kind of mis-sold as a family room to me over the phone. It was a double room with a squeezed into tiny corner single futon-bed that was not even prepared (sheets and cushion), leaving no space to do some work on the desk. 2. There was a nasty smell in the air, something in between humidity and urine coming from the bathroom that was very notable the min we walked in. A bit noisy until 1am (road traffic and people outside the hotel ,(room 132). 3. Price was inclusive of breakfast (at cafe rouge) but it must be the poorest in variety and quantity breakfast I ever had in a hotel. We go every year to Greenwich for a pantomime show next door and that was the first ever stay at your hotel, but based on the overall experience and value for money , I would not be choosing to stay at this Ibis again I am afraid. Novotel down the road, far better in many sectors.

Being an Accor platinum card member, and having stayed at your hotels over 100 times in the last few years, I was really surprised at the poor hygiene and dirty conditions at the hotel. There were skidmarks on the toilet bowl, holes in the towels, and the floor was sticky and dusty. There are other, cheaper hotels to stay at in Greenwich. The reason I chose the Ibis is because, although they are basic hotel rooms, you can usually rely on a good standard of cleanliness and consistency. This time was a complete let down. When I reported this to the staff they were very apologetic and left a note in the bedroom advising us that we had been offered a free breakfast as compensation. Not only did I think that was inadequate, but when we did make our way down to claim the breakfast, we were told that we missed the 12:00 cut off, and were not offered lunch or something similar in return. I am really disappointed with this stay. It was very expensive at £120 a night, and to be honest I would not stay in a room like that even if it was free. Skidmarks on the toilet is where I draw the line! The most disappointing thing is that I stay at Accor hotels all the time, and find them to be of a good standard. Worst of all, we were not offered a refund or adequate compensation. This was a birthday getaway that was meant to be nice and relaxing. It was very disappointing.

« Very disappointing »

The stay was very disappointing. The rooms were noisy, very dark. There wasn’t not a safe provided. There was not a woardroab or draws to put clothes in just a stupid thing that looked incredibly cheap and tacky. The rooms looked like they needed more attention to detail especially cleanliness. The reception didn’t have a proper desk which gave a very unprofessional impression.

« Wonderful stay! »

I have visited a few Ibis hotels, but this one has been my favourite. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room it's self was immaculate, very well maintained and clean through out. Bathroom was well sized for London hotel. The location it's self was excellent for public transport and so quiet that we both slept like babies! Cafe Rouge adjoined was an added bonus!

Easy booking, Good price for super location. Rooms basic but met our needs. Toilet in first room very noisy continually filling not too bad on first night but getting worse on 2nd night - reported to reception and they arranged for us to move to room. Slept much better the 2nd night.

Overall it was a good stay. We area mother and daughter pair listing London for a couple of days. On site parking is available at a decent price and breakfast can be purchased to eat at the onsite Cafe Rouge. We had a friendly and helpful greeting and the room was serviceable. Cleaning could do with being looked at a bit closer - we found a cake bar on the floor under the desk when we pulled the chair out. Within 2 hours of checking in we reported an issue with the USB hub - it didn't work and as we were told this was included we hadn't brought the plugs to our devices, only the cables. We were assured this would be dealt with. Unfortunately, when we left 3 days later, this issue had still not been resolved and staff had no interest in replacing it. The second day of our stay we were locked out of our room - the cleaning team had left their card inside the room which had cancelled our own card. Normally this is a minor annoyance and can be quickly rectified. But that only happens if the staff actually bother to pay attention to you. There was 1 gentleman serving customers at the bar in the reception area, but the host spot with their guaranteed 24/7 service, as empty. Following the laughter to an open door showed 4 other employees (1 n a suit so assume was a manager) all laughing and joking with their back to the door. When I knocked and asked if someone could help I was told someone would be out shortly. After a lot more laughing someone did come out and reactivated our key card in seconds. This is a budget hotel and you pay for the extras, but overall, for it's location and convince of parking, I found it to be worth the price paid

Check out was great. But check in was very slow and service at breakfast was also very slow and poor value for money overall. Had to ask for my "complimentary" drinks voucher - maybe guests should get two vouchers if they have to ask?

The hotel is situated very near the historical precinct of Greenwich. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, but we had to change rooms after two days due to noisy plumbing. It was a pity that I could not have the restaurant meal charged back to the room. It appears the IBIS England has introduced a new check in procedure which has dispensed with the reception desk, and now the computer is balanced on a "pub table".....not very professional and a retrograde step as far as IBIS is concerned.

We were there for just one night, as went to see a show at The O2...perfect choice! Checked out but left bags at reception then Mooched around Greenwich Market and Cutty Sark on Sunday. Lovely staff. Great value. Can't fault the experience.

This is my favourite London hotel. The location next to the park is perfect, and the cafe rouge restaurant is great. Gluten free and vegetarian options were no problem. I really like the international staff in the hotel and the restaurant and I hope this continues to be a tradition after brexit ( I am British, born in Greenwich but I live in Berlin). A terrific place to stay.

We were visiting the o2 and the ibis was ideal as only a short bus ride away. Our room was clean and modern. We had 2 single beds the beds did seem a little narrow but comfortable. The only additions that would have been good would be a small fridge; maybe some bottled water and a bottle of milk instead of the little pods. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was limited parking on site at £15 a day charge. I would stay here again.
