Stay various Pullman and Accor system hotels around the world, Grand Ambassador Seoul are voted number 1 together with Pullman King power in Bangkok in my list and recommendations. Staffs are very friendly on your arrival whether by Luxury Limousine or Taxi or Bus, as an Platinum of Accorplus having the privilege of Executive floor, Grand Ambassador SEL Lounge staffs can really make you feel at home, Like to mention Ms Jade Kim and her team - Thank you! In Seoul the hotel provide hourly shuttle service to key shopping area from 8 am to 10pm which is a plus even though they are located not far from those area. Thank you and we will be back soon..... Cheers!

I stayed for 11 nights and booked an Executive room. I was extremely impressed with ALL the staff and their care in ensuring every need was met. Only add one Minus point regarding the smoking. Smoking room (outside) is too far away and not comfortable no heater in the winter as well. Grand Hyatt Hotel have a indoor smoking room and in the bar can smoke too. Otherwise everything is perfect as I already described above. Happy stay all the time!

I had stayed in this hotel many times, but it seems getting worse and worse. The slippers are really thin and uncomfortable, even I called for the thicker one, but according to their reply is none. To be honestly, it’s hard to be considered as 5 stars hotel. Also, I requested to add my expense in bar into my room rate of the invoice, but I get rejected by a male reception when checking out. He just simply didn’t want to do it, and even didn’t give the envelop. Most of the time I asked for this service, it had been done, except this time. But then I cannot claim this part of cost from my company due to this. It’s really disappointed. I’m really not sure to stay in this hotel again during next business trips to Korea.

I enjoyed my stay in the Executive Suite with your hotel. Only thing that disappointed me was that the Exec floor breakfast was very limited. This is ok IF you also give guests the option of the restaurant breakfast downstairs. This was not an option and therefore I had to pay for this. I don't think this is right. Otherwise I enjoyed my time. Staff were helpful and the position of the hotel was appropriate for me.

I was very happy with the gym and swimming pool facilities since I did not have to go out of the hotel to get my exercise. I also really liked the shuttle bus provided for guests! The only thing I found "off" was the limitations for the Nespresso pods. Other than that, I do wish I can stay here again.

The experience from start to the end was seamless. And I don't mean walking into the lobby as the start of the experience, as many would expect, the start includes the pre-arrival experience; which GAS' AFOM Miss Julie Lim nailed down. She was very patient, resourceful and proactive to all queries and suggestions during our extended conversation for about 2 months on and off. With her help, the experience was made truly seamless and she truly is the gem to have in the property, I cannot offer more than only kind words about her service professionalism and friendliness. She is truly impeccable. All of the requests and arrangements made materialised really well. The true highlight is the personalised guide to Seoul offerring the best F&B places, shopping areas and tourist attractions in full A4 pages in colour along with every other relevant tour packages, maps and shuttle schedules; I practically had them as my personal concierge! I was truly truly touched by this gesture! For improvement: perhaps you can consider two slides on one page and duplex printing in line with Planet21 guidelines and also save some costing ;) The surprise she arranged for my friend's birthday whilst somewhat standard managed to pleasantly shock my friend that he was at a loss for words when it happened! The cheesecake was also FANTASTIC. Unbeknownst to us, champagne and a personalised card was prepared along with the surprise cake we aarranged! The attention to detail including providing proper cake knife, matchsticks and candles also show that they were very thoughtful in this process. The persons who delivered them were also really cheerful and sincere during the greetings; which if done poorly (and as I have had the displeasure of experiencing), can truly ruin the happy occassion and undo the extra mile service painstakingly prepared. So kudos to that as well! Check-In: Check-in was polite and professionally handled by Seung-Ree. Although, there were some periods of lull, he managed to cover the special requests and provide information regarding executive lounge access as arranged again with Miss Julie! Loyalty Pack was given and Welcome drink vouchers issued but member recognition can be improved in terms of verbal recognition, only 1 of 3 soft benefits were mentioned and there was no verbal acknowledgement of membership status. Not sure why the Concierge/Bell did not assist us with our luggages to the rooms as they provided collection from rooms during departuee. Don't get me wrong, these are not dealbreakers in any sense but areas for improvement in terms of handling loyalty members. Nonetheless, I felt welcome all the same thanks to Seung-Ree! Room: Our pre-ordered In-Room Dining was nicely placed by our arrival and with the food still warm. Strangely, maybe in a bid to conserve energy, the room keycard was not left in the slot and the room was dark upon arrival and resulted in the room being a little stuffy. Again, minor issue. The room itself is reasonably big with enough closet space and storage areas for the both of us us 4 luggages and plenty bags with a lounge to laze on in order to not mess up the made up bed. The amenities were standard Pullman brand - C.O Bigelow, nothing to shout about but it does its work. No toothbrushes/pastes nor shaving kits were provisioned as our research has proved leaving us unsurprised and well-prepared; all in the good fight for the environment! The packaging though featured small, individualised carton boxes which detracted from the environmental push the hotel goes for including the for now unavoidable use of plastic (for hygiene purposes). Perhaps to reduce waste, the hotel can invest in an amenities drawer which can house the various amenities without the outer packaging or keep the amenities individualised with permanent boxes instead. The bath was attached to a shower and a rain shower, which would have been better seperated for my personal preference, but alas... Bathtimes can still be a luxurious experience given the 2 shower head fixtures. Water temperature control however can be quite erratic and requires some adjusting. The bidet toilet is a true blessing! Overall, the room was adequate for a luxury experience, but probably does not quite resonate "newly renovated" as stated on the site which led me to decide to keep the room type instead of being upgraded to the Executive Room; to which I learnt were the IoT rooms :( Housekeeping: Room was maintained well and sheets were very nicely prepared with amenities being properly replaced. Truly impeccable work by Miss Lee KyeongHwa(?). Extra mile opportunities were missed but cannot be faulted. Executive Lounge: Meals here had a good variety and were of adequate quality but without anything truly outstanding. The food items were also considerably colder especially for breakfast, in the later part of the hours. The containers were also whilst elegant were rather shallow and had small circumferences requiring a lot of rounds of topping up; even if ala minute was being argued, then the temperatures don't quite add up. First night Happy Hour saw a lot of changes in the offerings throughout the night which was definitely a delight. But probably dur to the following days covers, this was not observed. Beverage selection had a good breadth of mix but offers only 1 kind per type including the wines; whilst this may not be a big deal to me, those with particular types may not get what they want here. Never had an issue of shortage of seats and the lounge itself never seemed to be very populated. Also the Happy Hour here is rather self-service, in view of the manning, so it detracts away from the lounge service most are used to; this cuts a great deal of guest interaction. However, the above observations does not mean that I didn't honest to god truly enjoy myself here with the fare. Julia Hong & Jade Kim (?) Were also star ambassadors of the 16th floor. IRD: Food was fantastic and absolutely delicious, which explains the heftier price tag; but an exceptional experience nonetheless! Food came very quickly and even more so for our last night's order being delivered in an impressive under 10 minutes. The servers were very cordial and friendly. The King's BKF: Assumption on our part that Exec Lounge Access would allow alternative option of having the 1st Floor restaurant with no additional cost. It cost an additional 12000₩ per pax which is a bit steep. So we went ahead either way to see what the fuss was about. Save a couple live stations and a small halal section, the additional charge didn't quite live up to the expectations with similar varieties of food available at the lounge for items of the same food group. Strange choice of fresh fruit juice for breakfast: apple which deoxidises quickly and turns an unsavoury colour. The detox, anti-aging and wellness options were more properly displayed here but not apparent in the juice section. The honey though was great, not sure if it is the same as the honey meant for tea available at the lounge being what I would like to have in the Lounge for breakfast. Otherwise, service was with little fault. Check-Out: Again a seamless experience, very courteous and professional especially with a frantic other guest who just couldnt seem to wait for his turn which led to a rushed end to my check-out experience. The transactions itself were quick and smooth but again with room for improvement in terms of membership recognition and loyalty points. Concierge's Vincent Kim also helped me with my bags this time and promptly got me a taxi to my next destination. Overall: Service is laudable and truly exceptional in most touch points but credit really goes to Miss Julie Lim who's efforts made the near misses seem all the more trivial. I'll be back to my Seoul homebase that is Grand Ambassador Seoul Pullman.
