Friendly and helpful staffs and comfortable atmosphere I enjoyed during my stay. Location of hotel is proximity to subway station within 8 minutes walk. Front desk staffs were polite and helpful to ease our mind for the language barrier. This hotel is absolutely on my list for second visit to Seoul.

« Easy access by public transport and airport bus »

The rooms were somewhat dated and require a refurbishment. For example with the many devices needing power, a powerpoint next to the desk would be very handy. The aircondioning system is not as responsive. The breakfast buffet was great with a lot of variety and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is located close to Metro station but you need to know to come out at Exit 1 otherwise you end up on the other side and there is a KAL Airport bus that picks you up right outside (a good way to go if you don't want to carry suitcases up and down hills to reach the station).

« Easy access to public transport and Airport bus »

The hotel is located close to the subway station (it is important to use Exit 1 otherwise you can end up a fair distance away) and the KAL Limousine Airport Bus (16000 Won) has a stop outside the hotel. The buffet breakfast is great with plenty of variety and a combination of western and asian delights. The rooms are dated and would be due for a refurbishment. The biggest downside I found was a lack of powerpoints - you would need to have one next to the desk as everyone these days will want to use their laptop. There are phone charger plug on the desk for all types of phones so that is good. Airconditioning could take a bit of upgrading as well as it was hard to get it going. Summer could be a challenge in that room. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Staff was friendly, but room was very hot. Management tried to cool it down, but they were unsuccessful. Buffet was extraordinarily over priced for what you get.

Stayed at room 1508 during end of September. The aircon doesn't seems to be working at all. It was so warm and the staff has to bring a standing fan for us. Even with it, it's still warm. Next, when I opened the wardrobe, the door almost fell on me cos 2 of the 3 hinges had came loose!! Anyway the room size is ok and location is not that bad. They have free hotel shuttle to Myeongdong to Insadong. Taxi from hotel to Incheon Airport is KRW 50,000.. smooth traffic as it was 9.30pm when we head to airport.

The staff were very welcoming and polite, everything was really tidy and clean in the room. I had to get a taxi to everywhere but it was very cheap and the was near by if you wanted to travel by bus. Overall the time spent there was worth it. Thanks to all staff.

Stayed 5 nights in Grand Ambassador Seoul. Requested for the room facing Namsan tower and was given a room accordingly. Furthermore, the room was upgraded from Twin to double bed room. Extremely happy with the service. Housekeeping was great! The counter staff were very helpful! Shuttle service was excellent, made use of shuttle service daily. The hotel is located in quiet district with many eatries within walking distance to Donguk University Exit 1. I will definetely return to Grand Ambassador for my future trip! Thumbs up service!

Located away from the noisy MyeongDong shopping area and easy to hop on train or taxi to get to the other side of the Han river / Gangnam should you have meetings there. With their shuttle bus services to move around to shopping areas, it has served well for people who want to be away from the crowds but yet want to shop in Seoul. Staffs are very helpful and willing to extend any assistance whenever needed. Last but not least Airport Bus drop you directly at the hotel which is very convenience for both businessmen and shoppers. Will definitely return when I back to Seoul

Overall it a fine stay but I was surprised that 5 star hotel did not provide basic amenities and need to purchase. This is budget hotel practice. Wifi speed is not Consistent .
