We were impressed by how helpful and amicable the staffs were. We arrived on a day in which it seemed to have a VIP event, however, one staff still spared his time to attend us. There was also one male staff outside the main gate who approached us when we were thinking of which direction to go and he gave us recommendations on what to see around the hotel (with perfect English!). The room was spacious and clean. The location is a bit difficult if taking the taxis as we took 3 taxis and none of the driver could locate the hotel address as given (287 Dongho-ro) on their GPS. Its not so far from the Dongguk Univ. subway station but expect an uphill route.

Good service! The staff are polite. The room is spacious and provides relaxing aroma amenities. It is very convenience to provide shuttle bus service to Myeondong and Dongtaemun.

Hotel staff are very nice. But the gym was VERY DIRTY. Some treadmills were covered with dust. Fan was not working on one of the treadmills. I was in Room 1109, the bathroom door was not working after we checked in. Can't believe it's a 5 star hotel

Generally very good stay, however found the toilet is leaking water from check-in to 9 hours at least. Requires more attention on room facilities since the building is rather aged.

« Outdated hotel, with the most un-welcomed service ever »

It was like a normal guest visiting just another hotel. We were never treated as if we are an accor plus member. Hotel room is certainly outdated, an ibis style hotel in Ipoh, Malaysia have better interior design.

I had a good stay at your hotel. The rooms are nice and thr service was good in the various F&B outlets. The staff there was very attentive, helpful and friendly. However the staff behind the reception counters was during the whole visit very short in words and not very friendly if i asked them something. Totally different to the F&B outlets staff. I want to highlight shortly the performance from one of staff (english name was Joey) serving the concierge area one morning (april 23rd) during my stay. She was more than helpful in supporting me with an inquiry and showed an amazing performance with regards to customer service. I have never experienced something similar in other hotels before. Congrats to such an employee.

« Fabulous after upgraded to suite »

As gold Accor member I was disappointed with 1 st room allocated. When upgraded to suite which was a wonderful gesture from James the manger I then enjoyed my stay . My 2 Nd stay here so this time really enjoyed the facilities & amenities provided by the hotel. Shuttle service , pool , jacuzzi & suite was all fabulous.

« Excellent service, pleasant stay. »

I was initially disappointed by how small the room was. It probably needs refreshing as the decor was beginning to look jaded. Also the buffet breakfast spread could do with some variety. Fortunately the service level accorded by the staff was excellent, which made up for the shortcomings mentioned above. Location of the hotel and easy access to transport services made my overall stay a pleasant experience.

It must have been an unpleasant experience for you due to the insufficient explanation regarding to the price of each mini-bar item. We sincerely apologize for your disappointment towards Grand Ambassador Seoul, and at the same time we surely will train our staff to provide more precise information when guest wants to use Mini-Bar in the room. In addition to this, we are going to share your feedback with Housekeeping to put the price list of Mini-Bar on a noticeable place so that guest can be informed before the use. « Great stay at Grand Ambassador Seoul »

Enjoyed my stay with friendly and helpful staff. Room was huge and comfortable. Shuttle bus was prompt and the driver was helpful in ensuring we reached our final destination e.g. Kwangjang market, he told us to get down and cross over, when we went another direction he pointed to the direction of the market. The rooms could do with a little more cleaning or renovation. e.g. shower curtains were a little mouldy, magnifying mirror or a weighing scale would be handy as well. No creamer in room, had to request from housekeeping. One day we didn't have hand towels, had to request from them too. No teaspoons in room to mix as well.

« Professional service and convenient location. »

Enjoyable because of good access to transport like the train and shuttle busses to Incheon Airport and Everland. Great selection for breakfast buffet each morning and friendly service from staff members. Local restaurants were abundant and close to Namsan for walks up to the tower.

Enjoy your service. Good variety for breakfast. Room is good. Location have a little bit difficult when we back to hotel in walking. I checked your hotel have join the tax refund program but no staff advised us on this, disappointed to that.
