« Location location »

The location is amazing and the staff is nice and welcoming. However there are no staff help with luggage up the stairs and there is no elevator from the front door to the check in desk

« Comfortable and convenient »

Location is great for visiting the many museums and restaurants of the Old town and the promenade and market nearby. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast is good. Reasonable value.

« Great location but the hotel needs adjustments with rooms and staff. »

The location was great, right next to the beach and near restaurants. The rooms are well laid out and are clean, with a fresh update. There are a few reasons why we probably will not have us staying again. The first is the lack of lift. A person at the front door would have made up for this to assist with getting luggage to our room, as we were on the third floor, room 205. Which brings us to the second reason, the front desk did not inform us that us that our room was up a small spiral staircase or else we would've ask to be changed room, as we had to lift our luggage up those stairs which was extremely dangerous. The third reason is the house keeping staff did not respect our privacy. We had "do not disturb" sign on the door each morning, and each morning the housekeeper would knock repeatedly walking us up. We do enjoy sleeping in on vacation. i hope this will help in assisting you improve the experience for future guests. Regards.

« Quite nice breakfast - but not such a nice room! »

+ Very nice location: 10/10! The breakfast was quite nice as well, room was clean and the personnel was very kind. - Our room was extremely small (no possibility to open 2 big luggages in he same time - not enough space on the floor). One of the power outlet has been apparently damaged and was producing some annoying noise. The hotel doesn't offer access to the private beach - you have to pay extra. They also don't give you any towels for the beach.

« Good Hotel in Nice for a short stay »

This hotel had nice staff, great breakfast. Room was ok. Not as clean as other Accor properties. Split level rooms were interesting but would pose a challenge for those not comfortable with stairs at night. Great location on the promenade.

« Excellent location. »

Very nice hotel. Had room with balcony which is a must. Room very small would have not liked it had not had a balcony. Also helped with getting a breeze off the sea.

« Fantastic location with good-sized rooms »

The location next to Old Nice and on the Promenade is perfect. Things I would change: Additional staff. there was constantly only 1 person at the desk, so requests to the front desk are not quickly or easily met. Lack of a Nespresso machine in the room.

« Recently renovated at a fantastic location »

We enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic - the beach across the road and the restaurants and markets of the old town a short distance away. The staff were very helpful and the room, while small, had been renovated and was quite comfortable.

« Nice Hotel in Nice! »

What a lovely small boutique hotel with a wonderful view, location and breakfasts. Our special request for a near ground floor room due to ill health was met with a large room and view and this made our visit so pleasurable and we would certainly come back to the hotel as it also provided us with the closeness to the evening activity around the Marche Des Fleurs...Very Pleased we found it and stayed there.

« Loation, location, location! »

Staff was helpful, room was spacious for European standards. A little noisy as it was a first floor room in the back.

« Vacation at Mercure Nice Marche aux Fleurs »

Good room service, friendly reception staff, good and quite recently decorated washing facilities, nice climate in the room, nice location near beach, quite silent rooms. Breakfast too expensive for four people.

« Would visit again »

The service was great. The room was very small but comfortable with nice amenities like the electric kettle. Our favorite part of the room was the two French doors which opened to give a lovely cross breeze and view of the street below. We were not able to figure out how to work the air conditioning so it was often hot, especially at night when we closed the windows for noise and light control. There were excellent shades which completely blocked out the morning sun allowing us to sleep late when we wanted to. We loved Nice and would consider staying here again although we might try to get a larger room.

« Close to everything I wanted  »

Great location - close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and the old town market. Room was comfortable, clean , and well-apportioned with high, elegant ceilings. Staff was helpful and spoke English well (so much better than my French). Breakfast had a wide variety of foods laid out well in a pleasant dining area.

« Room portrayal inaccurate  »

We arrived in the early hours and were shown to our Privilege room with sea view and balcony, which was very small. As it was late we went to bed, but next morning realised that there was no storage space, apart from a small wardrobe with 4 hangers. No drawers to put items of clothing in and nowhere to store our cases. The bathroom matched the room. No space to turn around in the shower and had to be a skinny midget to sit on the toilet. We went to breakfast, which was good with a decent selection of breads, pastries, fruit, cheese, eggs and cereals. After breakfast we spoke to reception to explain that we' were very disappointed with the Privilege room that we had been allocated. On checking the receptionist found that we had only been allocated a room for 1 night where as we had booked and already paid for 7 nights. We were told that there was another room available which was bigger, had a sea view but no balcony. We were shown the room and were delighted to find this was a large room, with storage space and a much bigger bathroom. This made our stay a very pleasant experience, however I do wonder where the Privilege rooms are that are shown in the photos on the hotel website! The first room that we were allocated was a Privilege room but I would have been very unhappy staying in this for 7 nights especially for the price we paid!!

Folks at the front desk were wonderful! The AC in the room wasn't working so it got very hot and humid.

Good money given Gran Prix. Clean, good breakfast. 4 star at its best. Super location, at promenade by sea, but very quite.

« Great location, tiny room »

The location was great but the room was too small for two people and luggage. The bins in the road outside were emptied at 3 am every morning, with a huge amount of noise. To make matters worse, someone then came along with a tanker and a hose pipe and washed the streets.

« Great staff, great location, small rooms! »

Mercure Marche aux Fleurs has a wonderful location, right on the Promenade. It is very close to the cafes and markets of the old town. It is convenient to the tram and train station. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. We were greeted cordially every time we entered or left the hotel. They were also very knowledgeable and answered all our questions promptly and accurately. The 17 euro breakfast was overpriced. The room was small but clean.
