I slept quite well, thanks to the receptionist who allocated me a quite room at check-in. However, I found the room to be rather cold -- the heating seemed inadequate.

I always stay here for business trips to Ghent. Everything is fine. Online check-in and fast check-out is useful. Bed is comfortable, but the pillows are very terrible compared with other similar level hotels.

We stayed there for a long weekend and it was a great location. Close to the main attractions, shopping area and there are quite a few options to eat around there. The room was clean and comfy, although the room was a bit outdated and needs maintenance.

I stayed 4 days and during those days I asked sometimes twice per day for an iron. They always said the has just given away all of them. After the 3rd time I asked them to please keep one for me and they said the will give it away to the first person that comes. That's lack.of empathy and interest for your guests. In a hotel where most guests are there for business iron could be such an important thing. You should get more so you dont run out of them or at least be kind to the person that has been BEGGING for one SEVERAL times! This made my stay a nightmare because I had to use wrinkled clothes to my meetings for those days. Disappointed

Unfortunately we only have 3 irons in the whole hotel. Mostly business people need irons and iron boards and some of them keep them in the room because we ask a guarantee for them. The ability for us to bring our dogs with us on holiday is key. So we are both pleased and fortunate that companies like Ibis are on the forefront in their service proposition. Our overall stay in Gent were really nice, partly by the central location, but more so the standard of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. We will be back.

I was really pleasantly surprised. I have heard bad things about Ibis hotels in the past from friends, but I would now stay in one again. All staff were very friendly and helpful even when I insisted my room key wasn’t working! I was actually trying the wrong room. Room basic but fine, good lighting, v comfy bed, air con, well cleaned by nice guy (Antonio I think- Room 527) Best location for the winter festival Price was amazing. My husband appreciated late opening of hotel bar.
