Rather expensive, nothing special, no parking in front of entrance, noisy rooms next to elevato. But over all clean and nice people working there.

The welcome was good along with a Welcome drink. The personnel were very helpful. But the room needs renovation and i saw a house centipede insect in the bath tub and i noticed borken tails. Room number was 105

I have been staying at the Mercure Brussels Airport Hotel for the last 3 or 4 years and, overall, I was quite satisfied. I know the building is old and the rooms could use a renovation. However, this time, there were too many things that went wrong. First, the bathroom was dirty - not by mistake of the cleaning ladies but simply by wear and tear and the years of use. Regardless, it would be a good idea to clean the mould off of the silicone in the bathtub or to decalcify the showerhead... Second, there were those small bugs called silverfish (poisson d'argent) in the bathroom. That's something that can happen at home but not at a 4 star hotel! And then, finally, I asked specifically for a late checkout and it was added by a receptionist to my reservation with a specific hour as a deadline. So imagine my surprise when I came back to the hotel - before that deadline - and my room was already being cleaned and readied for the next guest! When I checked out and told the receptionist about all 3 things, I only heard a small apology, absolutely nothing was offered as a recompense. Overall, I don't think I will be coming back to this hotel next time I'm in Brussels.

As usual the facilities were great. Friendly staff and a pleasent environment. I would recommend this to people for a business trip close to the airport. The location is close to several major organisations.

My room at the street side of the building was noisy due to traffic, it was difficult to sleep. Windows would clearly need an update. Location was really good for my purposes (the main reason I selected this hotel) Had dinner at the restaurant several times and was always very pleased with the food. Breakfast was ok.

« Great stay let down by poor burger »

10/10 for everything except the burger. I don't usually eat dinner in hotels but did on this occasion as I was arriving late. It was a good meal and served well except the burger itself, which was dry, small, overcooked and not very meaty. It simply wasn't the same standard as the other things on the plate.

Hotel Shuttle Bus did not run from Airport. Left waiting at the airport for 45 minutes - longer than the flight from Amsterdam. Reception informed us the restaurant was not open on Sunday evening - although a buffet meal was laid out. Bath removed from bathroom - just a shower remained. (4th floor) Window unsafe as it lacked a protective latch. Room decor tired - could be refurbished and updated.

Comfortable accommodation, efficient staff at the front desk (especially a young lady, who was extremely kind and meticulous in providing information about surface transportation at our arrival), wide and clean room, very good breakfast, efficient shuttle service. There is only one thing that has spoiled my stay : pillows. Unfortunately I suffer from cervical dystonia and the kind of pillows in your hotel has not helped at all, actually I had headaches both days. I am aware this is something which you are not responsible of, but unfortunately my stay at your hotel is now associated to those horrible headaches. I wonder if you are able to provide memory foam pillows on request for future stays, that would be much appreciated.

« The hotel needs some basic improvements »

I have stayed in this hotel several times since March this year and we repeat the same issues: - Some rooms have the walls with stains and humidity smell (I have decided to always ask for a room in the 5th floor as I had better experiences there, not 1,2,3 or 4th floor) - Having the first floor as smoking also affects floor 2 and 3, why do we have smoking floors in 2018? - This time, the heating was on when the temperature outside was 24 degrees, when i was calling to reception, the answer was "I'll call you back", they never called me back. I went later to the reception to say that it was impossible to sleep due to the extreme heat in the room... the answer was that "It is October", there should be more flexibility, in these last year temperatures are changing a lot, this cannot be an acceptable answer - Plugs: how come we still don't have plugs in the night tables? if there are no plugs, USB adapters would be enough in a world of smartphones................. - Check in and check out takes a looooong time.... System is too slow to take payment apparently

« Very warm in hotel room, refridgerator not working »

The hotel room was very warm, I had to sleep with the window completely open to have any kind of sleep. The refridgerator was also not working. Went to reception beginning of the week, only last evening of my stay it was finally working.
