« Good but could have been better »

The location of the hotel, along the old rn7 is good and the staff was very friendly and efficient but the hotel it self is suffering of various challenges: no flat way from parking to reception (found out later of a kind od not documented stop over place), no lift, very small room and rotten bits in bathroom. The tripple bed was comfortable and interesting (although only 2 of us was using it) but was taking all the space allowing very little for stripping off and moving a bit.

I had paid in advance but when we arrived, the receptionist said I had only paid for the room & the tax, not the breakfast.....so I said we wanted breakfast. When we checked out, the morning receptionist said it was all paid for!

Very friendly staff on reception and plenty of parking space. Bed very comfortable taking up most of the room. Bedroom a little bit dated now perhaps an upgrade is needed but everything worked. Good food and wine for dinner and very reasonable price.

We were warmly received by the receptionist. Our room was cramped but clean and had all we needed. The decor was a little shabby, especially when compared with Te Reception and Restaurant. The food we were served was excellent, however, with only one waitress on duty service was slow.

The rooms are very small, and the size of the bed quite big for the size of the room :) What I didnt like is the first grounfloor door which is not working well, ugly and does leave a bad impression. Suggest to demount it or make it at least automatic. Room was clean and the people are very nice 10+10! The floor seems to be like it was before the room renovation. « A generally good experience with one significant hiccup »

Have stayed here before so we're looking forward to repeating the experience. The accommodation was as expected, a clean, airy and comfortable room. As before we had an evening meal as well as the breakfast and again good menu choice, fresh food served efficiently. Booking out was not a problem. The one hiccup was on our arrival. Having travelled from Roscoff all day we arrived early evening, around 6pm. There was no one at the reception desk. A staff member was preparing the dining room for the evening meal, after a few minutes wait, she spotted us. She then went to the far end of the dining room and spoke to two members of staff who were outside smoking. We waited for a response, none happened. After a few more minutes the dining room person noticed we still had not been attended to and again informed the staff outside smoking. This time the receptionist showed she had seen us, finished her cigarette, then came to attend to us. In all we waited over 5 minutes for service, is that acceptable? we think not. Later in the evening we were sat outside in front of the hotel having a late evening drink. Whilst there the same two staff came out to have a 'smoke' outside the front door. We found the drift of the smoke intrusive.

Another excellent and comfortable stay at Ibis Nevers. A friendly welcome as always, excellent food in the evening and the buffet breakfast most satisfying. Easy parking and access completed a pleasant overnight stop.

Did not stay at hotel, could not get in touch with anyone by phone or e-mail, booking was wrong, did not go through as date required, but was booked for night I was on your site, not for for the one which was put in for. June 2017. Have no idea how you are supposed to contact hotel, if phones don't work.
