I am very upset with my experience here at this hotel .My wife and I decided to take a road trip to L.A from home (Vegas) This was our 1 year wedding anniversary so I wanted to have some beach time.When we arrived I was told I was being charged for more than what they told me on the phone..We finally got out key to room and the room was dirty the bed had feathers and dirt between the sheets very dusty and dirty on tables so we left and went downstairs to complain we were offered another room which was slightly better but still feathers and could of been cleaner .for the little cation and price we were very dissatisfied...The breakfast was really tasty I must say that’s about all

clean, loved feather beds, went to bar and enjoyed drag queen show, staff polite, but love bathtubs. didn't think to ask for a room with one. I stayed there while my husband was at Cedars Hospital. hotel is very conveniently located. we are going to France and considering staying in Marseilles at your hotel about the 18th of September. we stayed in vegas years ago and loved it. not sure about our membership

Service and follow up was not living up to the standard we know from Sofitel other places, e.g. Chicago and New York. We did not get water in the room, and the follow up in general on our requests was lacking. One room just next to service room (noise and disturbance) other room very small.

Love your hotel. We stayed in room 605 and the bed was way to soft for our liking. I didn’t have that issue at my my last stay. I will ask for a firm bed next time. Otherwise it was great and the view of the hills was beautiful to wake up to.

Good Afternoon I would like to place a formal complaint in regards to my recent stay at Sofitel Beverley hills Los Angeles 13th -15th July 2018. I am extremely disappointed with my full stay from start to finish in this hotel, with the assurance from an original complaint to Marvin Fernandez upon arrival at the hotel I was extremely shocked with lack of acknowledgement by the hotel staff. We were finally greeted by a very unapproachable and unprofessional staff member at the check in desk, upon checking in there were no words spoken apart from confirmation of name etc, then unprofessionally asked for a card to pay which was very confusing as myself and my partner had already prepaid with no explanation what this was for until we had initiated the conversation and ask which made us feel completely unwelcome and came across extremely rude Once we had finally checked in, we were told that there was 'something' waiting for us at concierge. We were pointed to the concierge were the check in staff just walked away, with no directions to the room, no assistance with bags and again no explanation.This is just not good enough, I could have stayed at a 1* hotel and received better service it was embarrassing Whilst waiting in the queue at concierge, the young boy who had our baggage came over to help us and look what was waiting for us. Unfortunately, he couldn't find anything and were told that it was about us parking our car at the hotel. However, we flew from Las Vegas to LA and did not have a car, this was even more confusing to what was actually going on here We decided to leave it for the moment and were guided to our room by the bell boy. When our luggage was unloaded into there room, there was also a parcel for us in a brown envelope, addressed to myself . Me and my partner were extremely puzzled as to why we had a parcel as we weren't expecting anything. When opening it we found two reading books which was incredibly odd and couldn't figure out why we had received this. Around 40 minutes later, there was a phone call to the room from a member of staff stating that the package was not for us but for another guest at the hotel. I just can't understand how a hotel can get this wrong? Its incredibly unprofessional The room itself was poor and embarrassing. Not only was this due to be an upgraded room to a better room for an engagement, The room itself was filthy and very unclean, the front door echoed this being full of marks and not shutting properly. After a long journey to arrive, there was no water available in the room i called down and was told someone would be with me shortly, After 2 hours and several phone calls again later I had enough and had to leave the hotel and go to a store to get something as I was waiting so long for the hotel to respond. This is not 4* standard, upon arriving back there was a small 1 x 250ml bottle of water and one glass between two guests it was completely embarrassing, not only was the room unclean with marks and dirt the bathroom robes had stains and a massive hole under the arm. This is just not good enough and without a doubt not Sofitel standard especially from an initial formal complaint. I want a full refund. Overall very good. The Hotel is a little older and tired than some of the other Sofitel's we have stayed in. Usually the beds at the Sofitel are amazingly comfortable, not so much at the Sofitel Beverly hills. Staff extemely friendly and helpful.

The restaurant, valet, and front desk staff were excellent. My bathroom at check in had black hair all over the floor, sink and shower. One morning, when I came in after maid service, there was urine in the toilet. So, cleaning was a real problem. The food was good and the location was good.
