Early check in was guaranteed and was not delivered. Room was lacking in place to put suit case or clothing. For the cost was not worth it. Would have liked a fridge could use, only had pay items in room fridge. They did have water available everyday as well as coffee.

Service was phenomenal! However, the hotel desperately needs a renovation. It's outdated and the furniture needs to be re upholstered. I am a swimmer and the pool area is terrible. Sloppy lounge chairs and unappealing. The restaurant menu has a selection of two kinds of food. Lobster and meat. I hope you get the revenue to improve thing because you certainly have from top to bottom, a very kind and hard working staff.

First off, Sofitel is in the Center of everything. It's across the street from the Beverly Center, a 24 hour pharmacy, Cedars Sinai Medical Center a Target and some of the best restaurants in LA are within a mile.

We came for the Diner En Blanc. The hotel was beautiful. Due to the discount of 20% we were able to upgrade on a standby upgrade for a suite. We really enjoyed it. Due to it being my husbands birthday and our anniversary they brought up some wonderful amenities. The breakfast buffet was a great way to end the weekend. Thank you.

Many of my colleagues have mentioned what a nice hotel the Sofitel is but I was very underwhelmed with my first stay. My first room smelled like mold and there was a lot of dirt in the sink and shower. Looked like someone poured a cup of wet mulch and didn’t wash it down. I was moved to a new room but the underlying mold smell was still very prevalent. I was having an allergy flare up causing itchy watery eyes and lots of sneezing. The second room was cleaner but unfortunately I had to take allergy medicine daily which made me drowsy for work.

« I was treated as a member of family. »

Beyond the obvious, that it is a stunning hotel, I was helped in ways that I did not see coming. While I am low-maintance (in general) I was SO not on this trip. LOL! Your team worked with me on issues I didn't see coming. From making sure I had access to private outside space ( a new issue for me) to letting me check out a bit late. You see, I had some strange allergic reaction to something I ate while out or a product I put on my face, I don't know, but my face blew up in hives on the day I was to fly out. Paul not only gave me as much time as he could he brought up ice, he offered to take me to the Dr. and he checked on me ... again like family. Honestly from the first and kind young lady that fixed my room until my head blew up and Paul did not look at me like the gross person I was ... man, you all were the BEST part of my time in LA. Whoever runs this huge ship needs to know how good the staff is. How very kind they are.
