Funky entryway, dim lights, French . Amazing breakfast, deserved for me to be more hungry. Capped off the trip with martinis in the lounge served by a friendly waitress with the piano tuner plucking away in the background. Wished there was a rooftop bar.

I really enjoyed my stay because the staff was so friendly and accommodating and responsive. I also like the location very much. I would definitely stay here again. I did not like the resort fee though. I think you should either build this into your price or don't charge it on top of the room stay. I do not like resort fees because I never use the amenities. You should have free wifi, free water, etc.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very nice. I only had one complaint......our room smelled like nail polish remover, or some kind of chemical. We thought it would "air out" within 24 hours (especially after we had the room sprayed with an air freshener), but it never did. It would have been nice to be able to vent a window for fresh air

I've been staying at the Sofitel LA/Beverly Hills several time in the past ten years. It's a most pleasant spot, distinguished by the friendliness of the staff, above and beyond the normal expectations for facilities, cleanliness, etc. Having stayed at a handful of other hotels in the area, Sofitel is above the rest.

« The location of the hotel was great. The bed and sheets were awful. »

The bed was crooked - it was leaned up against the wall that had a power outlet protruding out of the wall. The sheets were scratchy and the feathers from the comforter constantly poked out. The pillows felt more like bunched up tissue papers rolled in. The location of the hotel was great - the shower and bathroom amenities were top notch. Everything was great - except for the bedding itself.

The staff were so accommodating and understanding with us having to book so last minute. We were staying at an Airbnb (booked for 7 nights) but it was horrible and we couldn’t stay there more than one night and as it was our 2nd wedding anniversary and a holiday that we needed after a horrible year (we had several family members going through cancer and one past away). All the staff members were warm and friendly, especially the bar manager which I have gone blank on what his name was but he had a French accent. He would go above and beyond to have a conversation with us and was engaged the whole time. We had such an amazing and relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed the Sofitel in Los Angeles. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Our room had a great view of the hills, although the windows need cleaning on the outside. The walls are also a bit thin as you can hear the guests in the next room. I could hear someone sneezing and watching TV very early in the morning, like 5am.

Checkin online made 2 days before arriving. Once arrived at the hotel, I had to wait more than 30mn and make a new check in for the 5 rooms. Upgrade in suite appreciated. Voucher drinks not valid for minibar: we didn’t use it. Pool: bad quality and too far Too much noise in the room from outside Good breakfast even if I still waiting my pancakes. I expected more for a 5 stars hotel. It’s more like a Novotel or an Adagio... For 10 nights booked it’s very disappointing.
