Great hotel & rooms and location. This is our 2nd stay at this hotel since February 2019. However, they need to improve the breakfast buffet. The food was cool at the best and the poached eggs were hard. We experienced the same situation wit breakfast in our February 2019 stay.

The parking was easy and check-in and out at the front desk was very quick and efficient. We had the pleasure of being greeted by Paul in both occasions. Housekeeping was very cheery and friendly on the 3rd floor. Our family spent 2nights at this hotel for a dance competition. The location was very close to the St. Laurence market. Even the Metro convention centre and Scotia Bank Place (The ACC) Was only an 18 minute walk. Room was very spacious, plenty of floor space even with 2 queen size beds. The mini fridge was convenient. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The glass shower was nice with a rainfall shower head and a wand. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool area. The hot tub was dirty and had very harsh chemical smell (bromine). Tiles were falling off of the pool wall and floating in the water. The pool deck is extremely slippery.

The hotel and rooms are fantastic. But we sadly think the breakfast buffet needs improving. We were here also back in February this year and experienced a poor breakfast. The hot food was cool at the best the poached eggs were hard and not hot. After 2 times we certainly will not go with the buffet on our next visit.

I checked in early and my husband came later in the day. I had no problems storing my luggage and then getting my key card later in the day. The front desk was friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

Staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Hotel in good location. Our room was very large. It was disappointing that there were only 2 drawers in room. When staying a few nights it is helpful to have drawers so as to be able to put clothes on instead of hsbo g yo open suitcase each time.

The Novotel exceeded our expectations from the wide choice at breakfast to very good wines available at reasonable prices & served by bar staff with whom it was a pleasure to have a chat. Room was good with a very comfortable King bed and the daily housekeeping was of a high standard. Buses & subway are close as well as many of Toronto's major attractions. We dined at the restaurant several times and although the menu may be short, the quality isn't! A final dinner at the nearby Papillon restaurant was an excellent finale. The only shortcoming was the lack of a shower cap when we arrived. We were told that policy required that we had to be one floor higher to get one but the maid got one for us anyway. We would certainly stay there again.

I am delighted to read of the lovely sentiments for our team - particularly for Jean Yves and Sohan, our bartenders whom I know would have had great stories to tell. I am somewhat perplexed by one of of team members response of showers caps only available to guests on our high floors. I most sincerely do apologize. Our Executive room do have showercaps in the bathrooms, however this feature/amenity is available to all our guests regardless of which floor or room they occupy. Good but hot tub was gross

I attended a training conference at the hotel and stayed overnight. Food served was delicious. Beds were comfy and decor artsy and modern. Great location. My only dissatisfaction was that the pool and hot tub were in rough condition. The pool was very cold, the hot tub wasn't very warm, both weren't very clean and tiles were chipping off and floating around.

Early check-in put me on a standard floor. Asked for shower cap and told as a standard room, non included. The housekeeping did bring some....I wasn't impressed. I paid same amount as other delegates on upper floors. No water in any of the rooms. Very basic.

Check in staff were great, room was very clean and well setup, only issues were that the desk had been pushed over when vaccuming, unplugging the TV and making the powerbar too far to plug it back in, and the grading in the shower slopes away from the drain, so there is pooling.

The rooms were beautifully clean and well decorated. Housekeeping services were good. My room had a bedside lamp that was broken and hanging off the wall. One of the light switch buttons in the headboard was not operational. Few toiletries (no hair conditioner or body moisturizer). There was no information in my room about the in-house amenities. I was disappointed there was no room service available. The WIFI was not secure enough to allow me to connect my work laptop. It is unlikely that I will return.

Well situated hotel with comfortable beds and a nice breakfast. A few additional observations follow. 1. We had a room facing Esplanade St. Each night there was one or more live bands playing in the restaurants across the street. There was enough noise from this that sleeping was difficult until the music stopped around 1am 2. The room is dark - it needs more light. In addition, one of the side bed lamps was broken and stayed that way during our three night stay 3. The fan in the bathroom is ineffective - not even sure if there was one. 4. We were on a special group rate that included breakfast. However, the individual at the front desk would not acknowledge this. I had to see a different individual the next day to have the breakfast charges removed. That same first individual was not helpful about parking arrangements. 5. Finally, and this may not be the fault of the hotel but there was supposed to be a regular shuttle from the hotel to the Mayfair Squash courts. I never saw this and the hotel staff seemed to know nothing about it.
