I have to say, we just left our stay at the hotel and we’re not overly impressed. The fridge in our room was not plugged in properly when we arrived. That was ok, we fixed it. Then on our first night we informed the staff that our tv was not working. They sent someone up who replied that he should have it fixed within an hour. We waited up until very late and nobody returned or called us back and it was not fixed. The next morning it was still not working and we set out for the day. We returned late in the afternoon to change and saw that our room had been cleaned, however, the bed sheets had not been changed for clean sheets. The tv was also still not working. The tv finally started working at 2 am, after we had to u plug it several times and even then the picture continually froze and cut out. When paying $380 for this hotel stay, I would have expected more!!!

Beautiful hotel. Short walking distance from Union Station. We were able to check in early, the room was extremely clean and modern, the staff were all friendly and helpful. A wonderful location - during our visit, we found The Esplanade (unusually?) quiet but it's a beautiful street to walk along, even in the February cold! A short walk to the Distillery District, which is worth checking out.

« Relaxing »

My first time at the Novotel and I loved it. The renovated room was beautiful. And I absolutely loved the ability to connect through Bluetooth and wifi with the tv and the positioning of the tv. The only thing I would say is, the pool had way too much chlorine and my boyfriends eyes have been burning all day. Also the tiles at the bottom of the pool were broken and someone could get hurt. The hot tub also had way too many chemicals. The gym was very well furnished and I loved the sauna.

The employees made it very special.. I was greeted by Sherrif .. who assisted me in Early Checkin He made it possible as he knew I had a very important meeting early.. WE found our room ver clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Love the location, so close to Scotia Bank Arena for the Leafs game. Lots of restaurants just across the street and everything within walking distance!
