« Good location, but cheated by a total renovation and terrible employee at the check-in »

The entire half of the Hotel was under renovation which was not disclosed at the web site. The original room the hotel gave me had an interconnecting door to the next room, which was under renovation, but the lock did not work. They said the neighboring room will be used by my company, but it was not true. The hotel relocated me as I requested, but I I was not able to get any help from Hotel when I moved my stuff. The washroom in the first room was not completely finished (open holes on the wall below faucet) and not all amenities were provided. I booked five rooms under my name for two nights and prepaid parking for two cars, but I found a ticket on one of car's windshield in the next morning. This is by far the worst Accor Hotel I have ever experienced and it is a shame this kind of terrible and unsafe and incomplete hotel is located in downtown Toronto.

« Weekend Stay »

Overall everything was good, only a few blips along the way. Parking signs outside driving in are a bit confusing, i eventually just parked in front (where by the way) there is a sign that says no parking which lead me to drive into the garage to begin with. I spoke with registration and she sat everything straight. The elevator cards, one elevator had a slot the other a scanner. The slot never seemed to work properly, would suggest changing both to the scanner. Other than those two small issues, everything was great.

« Not satisfied for the amount we paid per night. »

Had I known or been told beforehand that the hotel was under renovations I would have never booked there. My 15 year old son was really looking forward to the pool but it was closed. We were offered to go to another hotel and use theirs but COME ON - not convenient at all. The noise with the reno's was also another downer.

« Not a great Stay »

Hi There, I would like to inform you that I did not have a great stay at your hotel. Despite the construction, I was awaken at 4 in the morning by a women screaming in the hall. She seems to have been in pain or maybe overdosed. Furthermore, the front desk staff were quite rude and did not have any empathy for the horrible stay I had the hotel. They also were not helpful when I reached out to see if they had a charger for my phone. This is just for your information to do better with your future guests. I do not want anything in return for this review.

« Amazing updates! »

From check-in to check-out, my guest experience was superb! Arrived after a long day of travel and grab a quick bite (takeout) form the onsite restaurant. Food was fresh and very tasty. On my first morning, it was raining and the hotel provided an umbrella, so I could get to my meeting , without the soaked look. Bit pricey and renovations are ongoing.

« The value of the renovations versus the value of the price paid »

I was surprise to be advise for the personal at any time that the hotel was under renovations, the exit of the elevator at the 4 floor was totally unplesent. During my arrival a piece of croisant was in the corner until the day that I ckeck out. Prove that is not inspection or supervision after hours. Is important to let the client that he cannot have the same experience due to renovations.

« Did not see the value »

for nearly $350 a night, they gave us a "newly renovated room" which was very nice and very newly renovated. So much so that the hallways were still construction sites. I was also very disappointed to note that the only cups and glasses were disposable an plastic. I would expect a property of the calibre of Novotel would actually provide proper cups and glasses for the room guests. An no spoon to stir with. Felt distrusted and felt like a 3 star hotel trying to dress up.

Had no problems! Was upset the pool wasn’t open as on the website it said it would be done in April. Other than that it was pleasant. The construction at 9 am was a little bothersome but totally understandable.

« Very good experience albeit instructions on using the lift were lacking. »

It was a very nice experience. a few things I expected like the offer of robes were not to be had. our morning waiter was amazing. Very disappointed about no pool and should have been explained on booking not wait until check-in when too late to make a change. I was actually planning gym and swim on the day we arrived, and the two mornings.
