« Arrived at 8:15pm and was given the last room, which had been freshly painted. »

Failure to accommodate me. After spending 15 minutes in the room my throat started to scratch and my eyes began to water due to the paint fumes of the room offered to me. Management tried to accommodate by calling the Mercure downtown - but they never called back with any confirmation. Management then tried to offer me (exceptionally) a cash refund... but that didn't happen either as I booked the room on my Credit Card. I eventually booked my own room elsewhere in the lobby. VERY long working day for me personally and eventually had to drive 80 Kms to Caen where I was working the following day... As of this moment I am still waiting for my €78 refund. I am a longtime Ibis client - you can see my history over 12 years of working in France and judge for yourself my loyalty. It is my hope that I will be refunded the amount for a room that wasn't yet suitable for lodging.

« Convenient location in central Deauville. »

We had a good sized room and had no complaints. The breakfast is good value and it's a top location for the type of hotel. This is only a possibility, but later that day I found the contents of my purse had been removed and I had left my purse in the room at breakfast. If and only if the hotel has had a theft problem, they might like to add mine to the list. Of course it could have happened in Paris later that day.

Although in an awkward location, the hotel is very comfortable and staff very attentive and polite. The room was excellent although not the biggest in the block. The bathroom also excellent and spotless. Breakfast good and dinner acceptable. This hotel is what IBIS should represent although it's entry point is next to a concrete yard and not vary convenient.

We only stayed one night on our motorbikes, great little hotel, close to the supermarket and restaurants and easy access to the main roads. 5 min drive from Saint Lo. Staff were very friendly and helpful, would happily stay there again.

We received a great welcome with help being offered for a heavy suitcase - much appreciated! The room was well up to the good standards of ibis and the bed especially comfortable. Unfortunately when we checked out I noticed that we had been charged for 2 breakfasts when we had had only one - the first morning we decided to have breakfast in the centre of St Lo. The lady on checkout said that she did not have the authority to refund the money and we have not been able to find a way to do so since. This is annoying. I'm surprised that the hotel does not keep a record of those having breakfast, as do other similar hotels. And you still owe us the money!
