« Tired rooms, service and facilities do not reflect price »

Rooms need updating to at least the same standard as Premier Inns. Air conditioning needs to be improved. Carpets need cleaning. Receptionists need to be less grumpy. Booking was poor because of ibis failing to follow Accor booking site process.

No complaints. Staff extremely helpful and courteous and able to answer any queries with good advise.. Especially appreciated the way reception staff approached visitors,and did not just stand behind a desk Room, although slightly small was clean..

« First impression was good then came despair »

Check-in and lobby experience were good and service was good. Environment clean and modern. Room was relatively clean, some stains on the side of bed and on floor. Restaurant service was poor, long waiting for service. Breakfast was normal but there again here and there were items or food missing like juice glasses, forks, food like omelette and sausages. Waiting there was somehow annoying.

« Disturbing item left in my room. »

I have sent an email regarding my stay but I am yet to receive a response. An image was attached to my email showing a condom hanging off the smoke alarm in the room. I was in room 108. I arrived late to the hotel when I checked in and felt too embarrassed to report it to staff.

« Disappointing. »

Great location and friendly staff but you claim to have things that are wrong fixed in 15 minutes. Mine wasn't fixed at all. TV remote would not work and hence one TV turned on, I couldn't swap channels, turn volume down or turn tv off. I called reception who said someone would come and have a look. Nobody showed up.

Although I checked in on line, authorising payment by card for extras, I was stopped from the breakfast queue and was turned back to 'reception' to pay for one breakfast. There is little point in going to this trouble before arrival of checking in online just to be embarrassed when trying to get a breakfast

As expected from previous visits to the hotel, (almost) all of our stay was as expected. Clean rooms with very good matrasses. Breakfast was less tasty and less variated, as opposed to previous visits, but still good. Menu could offer a couple more choices, but quality was good. As a starting point for your exploration of London, the location is fabulous. Close to Euston and St. Pancras stations and in walking distance of, e.g. The British Museum. Our next stay in London will definitely be at the Ibis .Hotel Euston again.

« Just very average »

Staff very friendly and very helpful, check in and out quite strangely random. Foyer very nice. BUT Twin Room very basic for the price even for London, not too impressed. One thin (rather small) bath towel per person, no hand towel, inadequate sorry. Friends had a double room which was better.

« Overpriced for the service standard »

No complimentary drinking water in the rooms. After we had checked in at about 10pm, I went back to the lobby and asked the staff whether there is a grocery store or convenience store in walking distance, so that I could buy some drinking water. The answer was "no", so I had to buy two bottles of water at the bar for GBP7. The next day, I walked by TWO grocery stores at Euston Station, which is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. When I returned to the hotel, the same staff from the previous night was on duty, so I confronted her. Her answer was "Oh yes, but these stores close before 10pm". The next day, I checked the opening times of the stores, only to find that they close at 11:30pm and midnight, respectively... This was some of the least helpful staff I have ever encountered at any hotel worldwide!

« felt like being on holiday once i had finished work »

room was cleaned every day fresh towels and tea/coffee replenished . a small issue with the tv not working fixed that my self , slightly bigger issue with the A/C not working but was fixed within hrs of reporting it . the lobby very modern not so sure about the check in system though . i thought the food a little expensive but hey im from the midlands ( how much lol ) since i was down london working only needed a base to sleep so if all these above items are my positives . My main and real only bug bear is that my key card , cards to my room failed to work EVERY day after returning to the hotel at tea time reception explained its because of my mobile phone being close by ( RUBBISH ) reception would swipe give me new card ,cards every tea time and somtimes these would not work pretending to be a yoyo in the lift is not what i wanted when i got in from working all day . i even put there theory to the test i let myself in my room with said card left it in room away from all electricals tryed to gain access nxt day with second card not working swiped it was now ok tryed card id left behind in room and that didnt work either i believe there is a time out on them or they only load you one nights stay per swipe

« Great hotel »

Great location to the station for overground and underground transport. Them breakfast was lovely and vegetarian sausages were provided on request. Although checked in online prior to stay, which was great, had to queue for a bit to be seen to get room card as only one person available to help. Room was pretty standard, just what we needed
