The title above sums it up but I have to expand on the breakfast comment. Had I not prepaid for breakfast in my room rate I would have refused to pay. This breakfast was not 4* - maybe a generous 2*. Selection very poor, at 8.30 only a half baguette available with no cloth for people to hold whist cutting bread. No spoons for the cereal and when asked, the waiter gave me 1 spoon and left onlt 2 on the table for other guests. Cheese selection pathetic , specially as this is France - the 'home' of cheeses' The apple compote was 'off' tasted fizzy which means there was bacteria present- the waiter said he would change it and brought the same bowl back. Tjhe same thing happend on the 2nd morning and when I complained , the chef came out and said he tasted it and it was OK - well let's see if he ate a bowl of the stuff and got food poisoning.When I'm told that other people haven't complained it pisses me off - let other people pay for my breakfast then. As I said to the chef - did he really think I was complaining for the fun of it ? Very poor fresh fruit selection and overall- terribel for a 4* hotel. To the management of Novotel , if you want to see how a breakfast should be done , go to a German hotel - even the B&B chain which are 2* but provide a breakfast far superior to Novotel. Overall the hotl is OK but if I stay next time I'll skip breakfast here and go to Pain Quotidien nearby and have an appetising breakfast there. Charlotte at reception was lovely and very helpful but there were 1 or 2 other staff who were miserable looking and not particularly helpful. I've often wondered if people don't like their job , why do they work in hospitality ? On balance I think this is more like a 3* rating hotel

The hotel staff as well as location were excellent. The room a little old, bathroom definitely needs updating, strange smell when you open taps and so on. Overall could be better, but staff were excellent.

The position of the hotel made it very easy to walk around and discover Lille. We were disappointed that there were no drawers in our room and only one shelf in the wardrobe area. That said we enjoyed all our meals (all breakfasts and two evening meals) and, as said above, the staff were very helpful and polite.

The overall experience was great and staff were friendly. However, I couldn't work out how to drain the bath. I was also charged for my entire stay even though Intel has already paid via my company booking.

At my arrival in the hotel, I asked for a taxi for the morning of 03rd of Sept at 8:10 am. For an unknown reason, the taxi arrived at 8h40 and i was late to my appointment. Just not Professional.

Great weekend stay for the Bradarie. Hotel lovely and quiet inside which is essential for this event. Room very clean although I think it was one of the rooms which had not been modernised as yet but was still nice. Staff were all lovely. Great stay. If we stay here next year for the same event it would be nice to be put in one of the modernised rooms especially when booking well in advance as we did.

The corridor to the room didn’t smell good. The toilet door didn’t close as the door needed to be shaved slightly.

Overall a excellent experience with very caring and attentive staff. Rooms were cleaned and fridge was restocked daily which was good. It would have been nice to have had a Gluten and Dairy Free section for Allergy sufferers at breakfast but having said that, the staff did bring somethings to us when asked. Thank you for that. My only concern was the badly fitted carpets on floor which could have caused an accident, however I did notice work being done whilst at hotel.
