« Pleasant room and good location »

Room was big, with a sofa and separate toilet, that always makes a difference. The room was very quiet. We had room service one evening and the food came quite fast. Overall a good experience.

« Eventful and peaceful »

It was very peaceful except for the first night when we were woken up by the fire brigade putting out a fire on two cars. I remember the smell very distinctly. This was of course beyond the hotel's control. The thing that the hotel could improve on is the state of the carpet in the bedrooms. I was surprised and disgusted by how filthy they were, so much so that I told my children not to walk barefoot.

« Pleasant and quiet stay. »

Smooth check-in and checkout. Room was serviced during the day and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel took 200 euros for reservation even though I had already paid booking in advance. They did not make this amount clear at checkin and it seemed very shifty. The amount is still pending in my account 2 days after checkout. I rang the hotel but they said it should have been returned on checkout.

we stayed for business 3 weeks with 4 rooms paid 10000 eur all had allergies due to dust in old carpets, got agressed by very unfriendly breakfast service lady and as late for breakfast the day of departure were refused a late croissant even if buffet still fully set and requested to pay 24 euros for additionnaly...

We almost always use Novatels when we require accommodation abroad. Our experience in Lille certainly lived up to our expectation.
