The service was great, but the restaurant is overpriced (6 E for a small pot of coffee; no refill?), and the decor needs updating. I have only experienced more modern Sofitels and was surprised to find this one outdated.

The best thing ebout the sofitel hotel was the very kind and helpful receptioners . They help us to find the best ways too visit paris . The rooms were very clean . Everything was ok but breakfast was not complete.

« Not much sleep »

Initially everything was fine with the hotel. However, there are a lot of noise coming from a room overhead and despite 3 separate calls to Reception it continued all night and was still going on as I got up to attend business meetings the following morning.

« Not as good as it used to be »

Overall disappointed this time. Even with an early check in booking the room wasn’t prepared when we arrived. The extra beds for the two kids where not made, and one of them was even missing from the room. It took more than two hours for them to be made. Not good enough. Breakfast was not fully satisfactory. A lot of things were constantly missing. And it took way to long to get some coffee.

« Good room, though few practical points to sort and breakfast options limited versus cost »

Good room, though trouble with light switches. in the end having to go in dark to bed. instructions could help. Had breakfast at 8.30u. No eggs were left and limited options for bread/cereals-seeds-nuts. Good self service coffee machine where cappucino can be chosen eg, was missing. Old school coffee or tea pots are still being used. Compared to breakfast served, cost is high.

Great location for me because my client is located in defense plaza. Very comfortable room in which I had a great night sleep. I particularly enjoyed using the hermes toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice. I didn't find the woman down stairs at the entrance very helpful when I asked her for directions. To clarify I'm not talking about the staff at reception where I checked in, they were friendly as one would expect and the staff in the restaurant provide a very pleasant service. I would definately stay here again for my next business trip.

« Pleasant and comfortable stay »

First time staying at Sofitel in Paris La Defense. The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful (Sebastian and Christelle (apologies if I mispelt their names)). I was given a room upgrade that was lovely! The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have the option of a bath or shower (other hotels in Paris I've only had shower option). I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was really nice. Good options available for breakfast. One of the lifts got stuck and the doors did not open (I was on the outside) which was worrying - I didn't want to have to carry my luggage from the 6th floor. Fortunately it appeared to work again but another person mentioned the lift was stuck for him the night before. Overall I would stay again at this hotel

The rooms were clean, staff were polite. Upon checkout we went to have breakfast which was included in our room rate, the staff came and asked us to pay or leave. Which I thought was very rude.. even if he was mistaken and thought that breakfast wasn’t included in our rate , there is a more courteous way to talk to customers. They apologized later for their mistake, but after what? After we left the breakfast parlor and that was very dissastisfying.
