Hotel is nicely located. Has parking. Rooms are standard novotel. Restaurant is good. Wifi is quick and easy. You have diferent options for breakfast, which is convenient if you don't want the full buffet.

I really enjoyed the hotel it was great. The concierge/desk clerk who checked me in was excellent as well. That part of the experience was wonderful. I noticed too late, however, that I was charged for two breakfasts when I was the one in the room and o my stayed one night and ate breakfast once.

« The parking rip off »

My stay in the hotel was great up to the time i had to pay. Indeed the front staff handled me an invoice for the parking (Euro 21/night), which came as a very nasty surprise. Clearly I cannot blame the front desk employee as it is clearly announced on the board indicating all rates but i found the ACCOR hotel approach not really honest. The fact that you have to pay for the parking shall be indicated when you are doing the price comparaison before checking (if their approach is honest and transparent) and not at the end when you are checking out. The fact that i am a Gold account owner didn’t change anything and the hotel manager has Prefered to stay in his/her office rather than discuss. Needless to say NOVOTEL vieux-port has lost a client!

The experience was fine. The room was very comfortable, once I figured out where the heater was. The WiFi was reliable, although I did have to reconnect quite often.

« Nice location with the usual Novotel services »

A bit difficult as we moved from the Sofitel next door to stay in the area another night. Breakfast and dinner was satisfactory without being a highlight. Dining staff were not looking to engage with us as they were concentrating on a conference function. Reception staff were excellent.

Very warm and pleasant stay with personnel that is always willing to help. The room was quite comfortable and clean. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast area. The offerings for breakfast were more than sufficient but there was a wait for a table both mornings and the tables/chairs could be cleaner.

Good bed and breakfast. I don't like carpet on floors, so unhygienic. It was a separate toilet and bathroom, in the toiletroom it was no washing fascilities! When esting breakfast the started to remove the food at the time when the breakfast was said to last too, we found this very unusual for a four star hotel, it maid the breakfast stressing.

My stay was great and people were very helpful. I had paid for my stay for the nights of 4-6, checking out on the 7th morning. Unfortunately due to equipment failure my flight on September 3rd was postponed by one day to the 4th and I called the Hotel to cancel my room for the 4th night which they did. However, I have not seen any refund for this night on my VISA bill yet. Is there a problem with this or am I getting a refund for the 4th night stay?
