Your front staff are always helpful & welcoming.Your restaurant staff need more training on how to welcome & serve.They are pleasant. The breakfast buffet the 1 st am had no bacon, the sausage had gristle in it, the porridge was watery----I would not try the last 2 items again.It would be nice to see a little more varied menu for dinner, Not all people want to eat burgers or steak.

Travelling across Canada a lot and NOVOTEL North York does NOT provide access to FRENCH Canadian TV channels which is disappointing and unacceptable. I will seriously consider NOT choosing your location for my future trips. ***In addition of my bad experience, Key to access my room had not been programmed, had to go back to reception.

Lights not working, broken. Bathtub drain very slow / plugged. Very noisy hallway, poorly sound insulated. Nice staff.

Parking was difficult to access (I realize there was construction in the parking lots), but there should have been more signage/communication to where parking should be accessed. Room was fine, clean and had all the amenities in the room that was needed.

We always enjoy staying at Novotel as it is in a good location. The room and view is nice. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Shower door does not close well.

Experience was otherwise great, but marred by being awakened on a Sat. am at 7 AM when work began. Jiwon and Mukarram were very responsive and helpful, but I was already awake.

large stains on rug, part of desk chair missing, part of desk missing, 10 min standing at front door of restaurant with no one coming to help me, no bread offered anymore, fries pale and limp, fish not fresh and exceedingly greasy, was so unfresh it was mealy and smelled, waited 15 min for bill after I asked for it, used towels in sauna for hours

unbearably hot room

All staff were very nice, but the air conditioner did not work. I could not sleep because I was so hot and in the morning, I saw that my make-up and lipstick were too soft to use because of the heat!! I had to dress for a job interview and I couldn't stop sweating --I had to go to a restaurant bathroom in order to put on my make-up. The heat was completely unacceptable and cost me a night's sleep before an important interview. I flew up on Thursday from New York JUST to ensure a good night sleep and be fresh in the morning for my interview. I wasted my money by staying at your hotel and wish I stayed somewhere else.

Stay here every month for business, this stay an elevator was broken my entire stay making the other available elevator extremely slow, the water dispenser in the gym was not working my entire stay which I reported to staff but never seen it being fixed not even a sign to notify guests it was out of order and the pool was out of order

Great experience, but would appreciate an inside handle be installed on the bathroom door, and that fragrance-free become the standard.

Generally, a pretty good experience. Room 704 ~ no inside handle on washroom door. I took the stairs for exercise. It was a bit of a maze, but I figured it out! The plug wouldn’t stay flat when I ran the tub. Unusual plug.

The jackhammers in the parking garage were off putting. The check in was fine. Restaurant staff were great. I asked for a higher room for second night and that was done with no issues. The two rooms i had were terrific. I prefer the 19 floor view much better! Food was okay. My nut allergy was accommodated. Breakfast on first day had wet, soupy eggs. Second day the eggs were great but there was no bacon. Coffee was terrific. We have changed hotels after 20+ years at holiday inn yorkdale. Our meeting venue is attached to the novotel. Much more convenient. When is the parking garage finished?

The noise from the work done in the garage up to 9 pm every night is troublesome and seriously annoying up to at least the 10th floor. Not intermittent at all as advertised (unless you consider noise every half-second as intermittent). While this can happen, it's a bit much to expect to pay for the rooms at full price. The temperature in the rooms shouldn't be affected that much by outside weather. Nights got really too hot, unable to set a cool temperature in the rooms (I've requested a room change for this purpose but had same issue in the new room). This is strange considering that the hallways were very cool, meaning AC does work at least in some parts of the hotel. Why not in the rooms?
