The hotel was pleasant and clean. the staff were friendly and helpful, however I had too many issues with my cards for accessing my room and the gym. This was an unnecessary hassle that involved me wasting a lot of time.

Four overnight stops this last four weeks. Well appointed rooms and good breakfast. Excellent staff who kindly looked after our needs with regard to accepting and sending clothes to our room. We were duped on one occasion by an agency making themselves out to be the hotel on Google and the adding a whopping booking fee We WILL be back

When we arrived for check in it seemed to be a surprise that we had a child with us even though it was clearly marked in the reservation. The child’s bed wasn’t ready. We also had a blocked sink which we reported but nothing was done about it. Very annoying to have a full sink of water. Restaurant was great. We had friends over for supper. All looked after nicely by the waiter.

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. However when we arrived at the hotel we were told our booking had been cancelled ; apparently it was on the system as cancelled by customer. I am certain I did not inadvertently do so and there was no mention of this on the phone app I used for this reservation. I am unsure about how this could have happened. The staff at reception dealt with this very efficiently and we enjoyed our stay as planned.

Clean room but unfortunately on our stay there were really noisy guests on our floor banging on doors and talking loudly out side our door well through the night.The buffet breakfast had a good choice of items but were on the cool side for enjoyment. The location was in a perfect spot for visiting our relatives and for the motorway for travelling home while avoiding the heavy Manchester morning traffic.I found the room rather cool for comfort in the evening with no obvious heating,

After a long drive on the motorway we were greated in a friendly manner and checked in. The lift voice was out of sync so kept telling us the wrong information, such as going up when the down button pressed and going down when the up button pressed. Room good as usual.

For a three star it was a reasonable comfy clean bed with clean hot shower and toilet, breakfast was ok when food was replenished after some time. Asked twice for early breakfast as wife was on work training days, first manager fobbed us off saying we didn't need it, even though I had clearly paid for breakfast. second manager had not passed on to chef so nearly missed breakfast. Website states late check out on sundays is free but manager denied this chance. Hotel and rooms overall looked tired and outdated (much like weatherby where have stayed in past). Rubbish and plates left in corridors (not by ourselves) for 2 days without being picked up by staff. Restruant menu lacked appeal.

I regularly stay at the Novotel in Worsley for work and it has always been one of my favourite hotels. Unfortunately on my recent stay (which was with my husband and not work related) I had a very unsettling experience. During the night, after using the bathroom I became disorientated and found myself in the adjoining room, which was unlocked. The guest staying in that room awoke and was clearly extremely distressed to find a stranger in his room. It was very concerning that the door had not been locked, potentially leaving valuables and personal safety at risk. On departure, I complained to the receptionist who assured me that the manager would be in touch regarding this incident, however I have still not been contacted 9 days later, very poor customer service!!

I have the benefit of speaking, at length, to the guests you disturbed, who described the circumstances and your "disorientated' (not the word they used) wander into their room via two back to back interconnecting doors. We have already taken measures to add additional bolts to either side of both doors to improve security and I thank you and them for highlighting where this improvement could be made. Checking in to the hotel was quick and the room was lovely, however at 12.15am a massive arguement and fight broke out in the corridoor outside our room. There was a wedding being held at the hotel so I'm assuming it was guests from this. We had to be up at 6am and found it very hard to get back to sleep after this. Its obviously not the hotel's fault however, it really did ruin our stay.

There were a lot of children running around the foyer - I appreciate there was a wedding but felt they should have been asked to be a little better behaved. The room was pretty clean and very quiet which is what I needed in preparation for my long flight the next day. The carpet was a little stained though. The reception staff on check in and departure were very polite and professional.

Disappointed in the quality of the rooms. Stayed in two different rooms and both were tired and dated. The carpet throughout the hotel was badly worn and bare in some spots. There was no guest laundry, no dry cleaning service, no mini fridge or bar in your room and no air conditioning. Room service was over priced as were the drinks.

We stay at Novotel Manchester West when visiting family - we also stay at a couple of other local hotels so it depends on prices and availability where we choose. The rooms are ok, the beds etc are all fine, but the rooms are tired/old fashioned looking - old plaster like woodchip walls is 1970s so a complete replaster and paint would completely modernise the hotel. The public areas are very nice. We like to bring our dogs but £20 a night extra for two tiny mini sausage dogs is a lot, considering we don't receive a bigger room and are only staying in the same size room as other guests!
