The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, however two things definitely should be improved; 1. The food for breakfast wasn't fresh - the yougurt I had clearly hasn't been stored properly, fruits were a bit out of date 2. Bathroom door - there is clearly a gap between the doors. It is ok when it is only one person staying, however with two people....it becomes a bit embarrassing using bathroom facilities given everything can be seen and heard

I will be there for next time.

Hotel reception staff were very kind, helpful and welcoming. Hotel room was modern, clean and very comfortable to stay in. Great location as it was within Zone 1 for the metro. Also booked at a great price for 3 night stay in the city centre

Nice Hotel, Staff was courteous, stay was comfortsble. In close proximity to Boucicat station snd surrounded by many stores, eateries and 24 hours Carrefour. We would recommend this hot, good value for money.

The hotel was Ok it just attended what I basically need for the stay Not very close to the transportation system, but it was ok Bathroom was a disaster Very pour breakfast and the person attending the breakfast area was not very friendly

Garage is rather narrow for large car (BMWX3). Price of garage not advertized upon reservation with Accor. Lobby and reception just OK. Overall would better fit for a IBIS. Same comment valid for the room: just OK, not the level expected for a Mercure. The room may deserve a small revamping.

I arrived at reception to find it empty, and had to wait 25 minutes knocking on doors - trying to find an employee. Pretty sure that the bed had bedbugs since I woke up with itchy bumps everywhere around my body. Breakfast was disapoointing.

Indeed this issue is upgrowing problem is many cities and to make sure our hotels are being completely safe for our guests, we do regular check-ups and even a yearly dog detection with an approved company. After your review, we have again specifically check the room you stayed in, and it was completely clear. Nevertheless, please email us more details of your redness because our guest safety is very important for us (h0…). Again, we apologize you had to wait at check-in, Michel our receptionist shifted on your arrival, was helping a disable person in his room and it took a little longer than it should have. We are very sorry our service was not up to your expectations and do hope you will still trust our Mercure hotels to welcome you during future stays. The team joins me in presenting you our excuses. Very average Breakfast very poor, over cooked eggs and ran out of other products at 9am!!! Dirty drinking glasses at breakfast. No one in reception at check out which is so unprofessional called and called and no one there. Normally mercure is very good but not this hotel I’m sorry to say! Will not stay here again.

Clean hotel, good location, small rooms but no reason to stay there based on status with Accor

On checking out, the receptionist said that we had not paid for our breakfast despite me having a confirmation email from my booking showing I had paid in full, including for breakfast. I showed him this email. He insisted we pay again because the hotel system did not show our payment. He raised his voice when talking to us about this and we had to ask twice before he called his manager. He eventually called his manager and resolved the technical problem on the hotel system. This was an unpleasant and embarrassing experience in front of other guests and it delayed us leaving the hotel and getting on with our day. Whilst, after resolving the problem he apologised and confirmed we didn't need to pay again, he said it was a problem with the system and not his fault. I can understand and sympathise with technical problems but he handled this very badly, making his problem with the system our problem by asking us to pay again when he could see we had already paid. Really poor service that ruined our morning.

I've stayed for 2 nights and for the amount paid, the experience was really not good at all. Start with the good part: the check-in was good (friendly receptionist, fast and professional); breakfast was also OK. During the stay: I arrived late in the evening and before that the person who booked the room had already received a contact from you saying if the customer wouldn't arrive in 30 minutes, they would give the room to someone else (the reservation had been confirmed before and during the online check-in I had already stated I would only be arriving at 11pm, so I didn't understand why this happened); when I got to the room, you had a complimentary bottle of water at the minibar that was oppened and half used; the day after when I had a bath there were no body towels (only face towels). I reported these two situations at the reception and they said they were very sorry because they didn't have enough towels!!!! and the water bottle was surely a mistake but they would look into these two topics. Later in the evening when I arrived for the 2nd night, the towels issue had been solved but the water bottle was still exactly the same and nothing had been done in regards to this. I don't find reasonable to spend 635 euros for 2 nights and having this kind of faults. Moreover the hotel sound proof was really bad. Early in the morning I could hear the trucks outside unloading cargo (to the hotel, I think) and also people talking in the street (and they were not screaming). I stayed on the 1st floor right over the hotel entrance. For all this, If I can, I will not use your hotels anymore.

Please allow me to explain our actions since this is the least we can do: 1) Your reservation: Please accept our apologies if we passed a less welcoming image than the one we all ambition to convey - we have strict rules regarding our reservation's guarantee's. A flexible reservation, like the one you had, usually has to be guaranteed by 6pm, apparently the card we had wasn't working to create a safety deposit and by mistake we have not noted the information from your arrival hour given by the mentioned phone call. 2) The room's amenities: As it seems we have been tricked by a fatiguing / unlucky day, our front office team had noted you request for the missing item in the room, furthermore, they have even prepared a fruit plate and an apology card for you, unfortunately, they've put it in the wrong room, resulting in your bad impression of our services, and our unsuccess to turn around the overall impression of your stay. We really wanted to have the opportunity to at least explain to you what went wrong, we recognize that we should have been more attend to our processes and will certainly learn from this situation to better serve you if the chance is given. Do not hesitate contacting us by this email if you wish to add something else regarding our service or for any other possible reason. We wish you a lovely summer and say sorry once more. Nothing great. Just a small Hotel with very helpful people in the reception and a small room. They accepted my request for a room on a high floor and it was ok. The room was small, the first day they didn't clean my room as good as the final day but I didn't feel that my room was dirty.
