Hotel was 15min walk away from Gare du Nord which wasn’t too bad. We stayed for 3 nights in Room 001 which is a family room for 5. My husband and daughters aged 17, 10 and 8 loved the room. It’s big, clean, modern. The bathroom is nice with a separate toilet. The first night, air conditioning wasn’t working but the staff, sorry I didn’t get his name, but he was extremely helpful. He brought in 2 fans so we slept comfortably and then the next day it was fixed. Breakfast is great. We all enjoyed it. Staff is friendly too.

We stayed as a family and we enjoyed our visit. It wS 41degrees when we arrived and the air conditioning was working brilliantly. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was clean We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel.

Air conditioning did not work

The air conditioning in the room assigned to us did not work and my family spent the first part if the evening in the lobby, waiting for the hotel to find a reception. After several hours of being without a room, we were assigned another room. The air conditioning in this second room worked, but only a little and we spent the night being quite hot. I will never stay in another ibis again.

I have stayed here for 3 days while on a business trip to Paris. The location, the hotel itself and, of course, the level of service are more than excellent! My special thanks to all the girls who work at the reception - you were so responsive to all my requests, but MY BIG THANK YOU GORES TO MUSA, who did an excellent job and helped me stay afloat and travel to Nantes when all TGV trains were gone and the hotel was fully booked!

8th floor no lifts

Couldn't believe it when the staff said your room is on the 8th floor, but unfortunately our lift only goes to floor 7, we had suitcases and bags and were left to carry these up the narrow stairway. Also very low headroom due to being in the eves and the windows don't close properly allowing lots of little flies in the room. Also Aircon wasn't working well resulting in the room being very hot. But staff couldn't or wouldn't do anything to help.

The hotel is very well situated in a lovely neighbourhood, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom a decent size. My biggest issue with the room and the hotel overall was that it was so hot. We had the airconditioning on the lowest temperature possible, and it was too hot. We had the window open, it was still hot. I don't know what the building thermostat was set too, but it was uncomfortably warm, especially for sleeping. Hopefully it is not like this in summer, because if so, it would make it unbearable.

We had a good time!

Overall a good experience in a clean, modern hotel. A couple of improvement points: - Food menu could benefit from one or two vegan options. - Would be great if the reception team/ housekeeping could bring up the extras (vanity set etc.) directly to the room. Currently, this is apparently not allowed and these items must be picked up at the reception. - The TV was slightly small for the room. - The AC was not very efficient, but serviceable.

The website says there’s a laundry service but there was none. Some days there were no room cleaning for three days. In the morning I had coffee but they tried to charge me full breakfast.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Ibis, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. We do have a laundry service provided by a company we work with. But it happens sometimes that their service is not available, and that is out of our control. As you have probably seen, you can find a leaflet in the wardrobe that you should fill in and bring at the reception together with the clothes you wish to be cleaned. As regards the cleaning of the room, we do not do any cleaning if you leave the sign outside the door that says that you do not wish any cleaning. That is probably the reason why your room was not cleaned a few times. Finally, as regards breakfast, we are sorry for the mistake in your invoice. However, as you have seen, we double checked with you your invoice before asking you to pay it.
