Hotels rooms are a kind of stingy. Food is really good and service too, but besides that hotel is starting to feel a bit outdated (rooms). This is my second time staying. I will be trying another hotel next time just to compare.

I've stayed in this property on business for quite some time and year now, and i find it that it is not being maintained as well i as thought. Carper in the rooms are filthy, the shower/bathroom need to be renovated (The shower nob fell, the room service menu is poor in choices and over priced, the TV had to be changed, etc)

There was clearly an improvement - front desk staff were more pleasant and professional, concierge personnel were also more courteous. The facilities can be upgraded however - carpet in rooms need to be cleaner (shampooed often) and plumbing should be better serviced (toilet kept flushing by itself)

« A/C NOT WORKING AND NO BELL MAN FOR LUGGAGE, Room service was not good! »

I decided to stay overnight at the Pullman because I was flying out to LA the next morning. I had checked out of the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. Saturday January 19th I attended a wedding at the Pullman and my close friend mother of the groom recommend me to stay there. When I shared with my friend about the A/C she told me she had the same issue and she had to call and they told her the A/C is controlled. My A/C would start and stop and no cold air was coming out . Furthermore, I had to rolled my bags in by myself. I got there in the middle of the day and there was no Bell Man to take luggage or when I left in the morning at 7:30AM . I also was insulted when they sent up a plastic wine opener was not able to open my wine and it bent. When I called room service to have someone come to see if they can open my wine or give me a stronger wine opener, she said with an attitude oh sorry that's all we have and no I can't send someone up to open your wine and she said you can take it to the bar downstairs and they will open it for a charge of $25.00 So my friend went down stairs and at the bar the lady was kind enough to open our bottle at no charge. I know this is not the Four Seasons and I know every hotel has different services, but I did pay $236 for one night that was not really good. I would love to try the Pullman one more time when ever I am in Miami, but after my experience I don't for see me coming back. I hope my feedback will help your staff to work on these issues. Easy check in. Good size room and very comfortable. Smart looking public indoor areas. Quite nice pool area, but chairs/loungers could do with some new cushions. Probably not something the Hotel can control, but too many cats/kittens which were a nuisance.

« Poor and rude staff »

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. The hotel is beautiful, but the staff is poor. I have even left a message for a supervisor since our stay, but have never received a call back. From check in, we were told our room was bad to try to get us to upgrade. I understand trying to upgrade, but if your rooms are so terrible you should upgrade me at no cost. In addition, why would your staff ever say any of your rooms are bad rooms. The staff (saw with my own eyes) will feed cats out by the pool. At any given time there are at least 10 cats around the gated pool area. Not my kind of relaxation. I was awoken to a knock by a staff member at the door at 8:30am to see if I had checked out of the room yet. Check out is at 12pm and I had not went to the front desk to check out yet. Why would any staff member knock on a door that early in the morning unless asked by the customer?! The staff at the bar was rude. We asked the bartender if we could get a drink or if there was a bar in the restaurant when she rudely announced she was the only bar and she obviously wasn’t open yet.

Condition of the room was poor. Reported issues and nothing was done. Had problems with a hair dryer, not replaced, had to call again and was given one that was in Worse condition (who would have thought it possible). Dirty towels and other room issues.
