« Definitively not the Pullman standard that we were looking for »

This was one of the worst stay at a Pullman hotel that I've ever had. Even a Mercure hotel provides a more pleasant and "feel welcome" stay than this Pullman Miami Airport. Terrible staff, terrible room (and I got an upgrade for free... couldn't imagined what that would have been without the upgrade). I also paid extra for a "lake view" and "high floor". They gave me a 7th floor on a 15 story building.... so, is it high floor that you charge for? Also, the lake view was more than 50% of the view objected by the building itself. SO, NEVER STAY AT THE ROOM 706

I booked 7 months in advance directly with the hotel.I was told at that time there was a special promotion and I would get a 150.00 credit towards meals at the hotel, well when I checked in and inquired about I was asked by the not so friendly young lady to show proof of that,she stated that would have had to done directly through the hotel not on line,well I did check in through however the email confirmation on my itinerary did not show the promotion,why offer something if you are not going to follow through.On my first day I realized I needed a handicap bathroom, I spoke with a nice gentleman at the front desk,I was transferred the same day however their were ants in the bathroom and the bed was horrible it was extremely soft and lumpy and on was side there was a large portion hanging over with no support.I guessing the king mattress was sitting on a queen frame,ridiculous. The bathrooms definitely need a make over there was no counter space in the handicap room.Also the first room I was in the bed was soft not at all comfortable. I also called housekeeping to request an ironing board,I got no answer,so I called the front desk,I was told they would send one right up,I never received it nor did I get a call back. The pullman is definitely a 3 star hotel,will never stay here again.

This was one of the worst Pullman hotel I've seen. Experience at the check in was terrible (staff not welcoming at all). Treated just like a regular people passing by. Hotel is conveniently located near the airport, and that is all!

« Very unfortunate »

I have left a formal complaint with your customer service team. The manager was so rude and inconsiderate. Our room was not ready when we arrived after check in time. We waited for 2 and a half hours for our room. He was so rude to me and i was extremely patient. This shouldn’t have happened.

« On issue after another »

We arrived late Thursday night after needing to hire an Uber driver because after waiting over 45 minutes, the shuttle never arrived. My companion was ill and needed some nourishment. The front desk people saw this and didn't even offer for the 24-hour doctor on staff (according to room documentation) to come see her. Heat in room didn't work, A/C ran constantly, the room was an ice cube. Housekeeping barged in TWICE when a DND tag was up. There is probably more, but I can't even remember it all now.

« Bad AC in room, broken shower handle and constant running toilet »

I upgraded to a luxury king suite where the bed is in its own room. The AC was very poor in the bedroom - very stuffy and hot. The shower handle fell off when i went to take a shower and the toilet would run after it was flushed. You would have to go in and jiggle the handle for it to stop. I complained and they sent "engineering" to the room when we went out. The front desk could never tell me if they had fixed the problem, I had to go and see for myself. The AC was no better in the bedroom, the shower handle fell off the next day (engineering just put it back on and never bothered to put in a set screw to secure the handle - very basic fix). The toilet still ran. I complained the second day and they said they were having AC issues with the entire hotel and all the rooms were like this. The second night was just as bad as the first. The shower handle fell off the next day and toilet continued to run. I complained again and they said they would send "engineering" back up when we went out. We got back very late and when I inquired about my room condition, they did not know. they told me to go up and check and they would move me if it was bad. This was at 1:00 in the morning and we were leaving at 6:30 the next day. We spent the third night sleeping with little to no AC in the bedroom. When I checked out of the room, the bedroom was over 70 degrees (AC was set at 60 degrees with fan on high all weekend), the shower handle was in the tub and the toilet was running. I complained at checkout - they were familiar with my complaints all weekend. They took $11.00 per night off my bill for the inconvenience. I wonder how my stay would have been if I did not upgrade.... Parking was a hassle. I tried to scan my room key but the scanner did not recognize the card. The booth was never manned with an attendant. I had to pay with my credit card every time I left the lot. It also took a while to get out of the lot because the people in front of me were not able to use their room key to leave and had to get out of line while they waited for someone to come. We stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and had a great time. This time was very disappointing. I do not think I will be going back.

The carpet and the chaise were dirty and stained. There was no fan in the bathroom. The bed was way too soft and there were limited programs on the tv.

« Staff was great but hotel was not what I expected. »

The staff was very nice and friendly but the hotel was not. When we first arrived there was a dirty towel with mascara in the bathroom, then the bottle of lotions on the sink were all opened. The tv remote did not work and when I went down stairs to exchange it they gave me one with a rubber band around it which was keeping it together. The bed was also missing a wheel and was not comfortable at all. The bathtub was dirty and the a/c would turn off at night and we would wake up drenched in sweat. The staff was nice and they tried to resolve our issues but it I had expected more from a hotel that charged so much at night. We stayed for 2 nights and then ended up going to the Best Western in Kendall which was cheaper and cleaner.

« Overnight near airport »

Excellent stay--nice rooms (get the lagoon view), great pool and deck area for swimming/relaxing, great dinner (lobster ravioli and swordfish expertly prepared), timely airport shuttle and all of the staff were very professional and kind. Have to give a shout out to the bartender, Carlos, who was wonderful. 2.3 miles from airport but on a beautiful lagoon with palm trees so it felt like we were still on vacation.

Went to the front desk told them about issues within my room after 4 days the issues was never resolved. Bunt out lights, broken faucet and a leaking toilet bowl that keep me up all night

« Not up to par »

Typing from a phone so please forgive the typos. Not a quality stay for a $300 hotel room. Check in was fine but not great. It would if the nice young lady let us know exactly how much was going to be charged to my card (I was exhausted and should have/forgot to ask but it's nice when someone tells you the total when you hand over your card). Incidentals hold was less than I thought so that was nice. The door guy didn't speak English and wouldn't let us use the baggage cart so that was very frustrating (maybe only they are allowed to use it and we have to tip them, I suppose, but as a man in 20's I really don't need someone to push a baggage cart for me. What I need is to use a baggage cart so I don't have to make two trips to the car). Got up to a very warm hotel room. Layout was sub par. Tv was smal, tv speakers were horrible, and tv ran very slowly while changing channels (pretty typical for a hotel, I guess...but I don't seem to have that problem at Hyatts) Bathroom was dirty; 12" long black hairs in the bathtub and urine stains on the toilet. Pool area and lounge were neat but that was pretty much the only positive of the stay. Gonna try to avoid Pullman/Accor moving forward.

« A big drop from Sofitel standards! »

Front desk not as welcoming or courteous as it use to be with Sofitel. No concierge available. Newspapers not available. Amenities that Sofitel had in bathrooms not available. No doubt the level of the hotel has dropped with Pullman.

« Always a joy to stay at the Pullman at MIA »

The previous time I was at this hotel it was a Sofitel. The change to Pullman was seamless and I found both the service and the hotel to be of top quality.
