I reserved two nights separated, one arrivng in Miami before travelling to Orlando, and other at the end of my trip, coming back to Brazil after Orlando. At the first stay, I've requested a very late check out for the second stay since my flight was scheduled for 11:45 PM. The lady at check out counter granted me next check out for 6:00PM and put it in the computer file. My bad surprise happens when that day came and the other lady said that they could not keep the promises and I could stay no later than 5:00PM. I had to review my plans and modifies all our schedule. Besides, again, there was no extra bed ready for our child, and no towels for her.

« good hotel »

On the negative side: the room had a bad smell, like tobacco; in the gym, the stationary bike has not been working for weeks and there were no towels. On the positive side: staff is very nice, location is good, bar is great.

« Great layover destination »

The staff at the checkin counter was supurb. Melanie (if my memory is correct) remembered my name and room number both times I went to ask questions. That is extremely rare considering the number of people she attends to every day. The food in the restaurant was grear. And the room service and porters were prompt and friendly.

« Attention to detail and service »

On arrival by car no one available to assist with luggage. Had to ask reception who called porter. Room and bathroom were tired in appearace and could do with remedy. I pre booked and paid for my room prior to arrival. A delux room, two beds, premium view-lagoon side or top floor. I asked if it was possible for a top floor and was told it would incur an additional charge! On checkout was billed again for the room WITHOUT my authorisation. It was not until I asked for and received by bill that I saw I was charged. I have had to make the effort, by calling the hotel twice , to ensure I recieve refund. No apology from the reception was offered or any gesture of good will ..I will will incur credit card charges for the hotels error.

Great friendly welcome at front desk and very attentive nice room as it was when it was sofitel same furnishings, l liked the new furniture in the bar area but the bar should stay open later than 11 pm , the pool furniture is tired needs to be replaced.

Excellent. Just a few glitches: The stationary bike at the gym is broken. You need to fix it. One day they forgot to replace one of the towels and the bath rug. No big deal. The old menu at the bar was better. The staff everywhere is excellent, especially at the bar. I feel very welcome.

I normally don't expect such a great Location for a Hotel located so Close to the Airport. This really surprised me. Nice view, nice pool, very Resort like. In Addition to the well kept grounds, the staff was super friendly and helpful.

We were upgraded to a suite that was clean, well equipped and spacious. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The restaurant provided an excellent buffet breakfast.

« Very good - Key concern item: Internet access »

All worked very well...the rooms, the food, the seminar room and the great people that worked the seminar room; Very grateful for doing all they could to ensure that all ran super smoothly. Overall Service staff: AMAZING ! Access to INTERNET however was a almost impossible, with drops and interruptions. Your in-house help desk could not help and the one that we called (off-hotel) could do nothing but just keep us on the line for no reason. Strongly suggest that action is taken on that.

It was okay, but the personnel at the front desk showed no knowledge of where the conference rooms were located at. I needed to meet a group in the Paris room and the front desk person sent me to the 2nd floor to a different conference room. The following day I asked at the front desk where was a certain meeting being held. I gave him the name of the group and they did not even know what meeting that was. It seemed as if they were not aware of what was going on in the hotel.
