I reserved two nights separated, one arrivng in Miami before travelling to Orlando, and other at the end of my trip, coming back to Brazil after Orlando. At the first stay, I've requested a very late check out for the second stay since my flight was scheduled for 11:45 PM. The lady at check out counter granted me next check out for 6:00PM and put it in the computer file. My bad surprise happens when that day came and the other lady said that they could not keep the promises and I could stay no later than 5:00PM. I had to review my plans and modifies all our schedule. Besides, again, there was no extra bed ready for our child, and no towels for her.

On the negative side: the room had a bad smell, like tobacco; in the gym, the stationary bike has not been working for weeks and there were no towels. On the positive side: staff is very nice, location is good, bar is great.

« A Hidden Gem »

Stayed for a night post & pre-cruise (we had back-to-back cruises out of Port Miami). All hotel staff, from reception to concierge, room service to housekeeping, were very warm & welcoming. We had been given a room with nice view of the lagoon & Miami airport & the welcome drinks from Starbucks were cherries on top. We ordered bacon & cheeseburger from room service to snack on & they were very tasty and price reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel specially to cruisers. It's just 15mins away from Port Miami.

« Beautiful hotel... poor systems and signage »

Check in was abysmal. Took about 15 mins. I made reservations on the hotel website but they couldn't find it even when I gave them the confirmation number. Next morning I went to the lower lobby and the signage pointing to the gym was nonexistent. And there was no hotel employee around to ask. I had to go up a level and ask at the front desk.

For those looking for a hotel next to the airport and with comfort and sophistication, Pullman is an excellent choice. Excellent service, helpful and helpful staff. The bar and the welcome drink form the differential with other hotels.

« Worst Expereince Ever at a Pullman's Facility »

This has been the worst experience ever at a Pullman's facility. The property is very old and the rooms show it. We arrived at 2:00 AM due to flight delays. At first we were allocated a room that had a major water leak with a carpet drying machine still working. The second room allocated stunk with cigarette smoking odour that made it very difficult to sleep. No welcoming letters for Silver status ACCOR member. Complimentary drink vouchers only given after complaining.

excellent stay, very comfortable room, first class service, very attentive staff. the only pronlema I had was that until now my credit card guarantee was not released, considering that I made the payment in cash. but I imagine that this will be resolved as soon as possible.

Stayed allready 4 times in this hotel. Great service, expensive breakfast though. Gym could be a bit bigger, but overall very convenient and centrally located next to all large malls. Until next time!

We planned a Disney cruise with small children and we knew we would face many challenges. After reading a lot of reviews and much searching we settled on this hotel. Mostly because of all the glowing reviews of families with small children finding the smooth landing pad they needed between airport and ship. The hotel is beautiful the valet and concierge were beyond amazing. Even the front desk staff I physically encountered were pleasant. However, one of the reasons we picked this hotel was the shuttle to and from the airport. So we made no other travel arrangements. After we were in-transist our flight was delayed. Landing us at the airport 5 minutes after the shuttle stops running rather then 2 hours before as planned. So I called the hotel to ask what my options were. The woman who answered was the most unhelpful person I’ve dealt with in awhile. She basically told me too bad you flight is late and wished me luck. Concierge wasn’t available to help me. And traveling as a party of 7, 2 in car seats, my options were greatly limited. I can’t just call a cab. Concierge attempted to call me back but I missed the call. When I called back Mrs Unhelpful answered again. And hung up on me. TWICE! Not because I was rude or raised my voice. But because she apparently was too busy to help connect me to the concierge desk.... When we arrived at the airport, with the airport staff’shelp, we were able to call a private Shuttle company to come get us to take us to the hotel. However we had to stand around fo 75 minutes, after traveling all day, to wait to be picked up. I’m am at a complete loss as to why someone at the hotel wasn’t able to simply give me a number to refer me to a private shuttle company so I could schedule something during our layover. If it wasn’t for this one lady, I would have been satisfied with our stay. As it stands now I’m not sure I will recommend this hotel to others. Everyone else I dealt with was so amazing....I’m conflicted. Side notes: we had a party of seven with 3 kids 6 and under. We stayed 2 nights, one on the way there and one on the way back. Our room on the way there sure like someone had been smoking pot heavily. Annoying but not the end of the world. On the way back though we had to ask to change rooms because someone had been smoking heavily in the room before we arrived.

The overall room is ok , but seems not up to Pullman standard, water pressure not enough and rooom need some updates. The shuttle bus schedule was confusing and I have to take taxis on my own expense.

This was one of the worst Pullman hotel I've seen. Experience at the check in was terrible (staff not welcoming at all). Treated just like a regular people passing by. Hotel is conveniently located near the airport, and that is all!

« Overnight near airport »

Excellent stay--nice rooms (get the lagoon view), great pool and deck area for swimming/relaxing, great dinner (lobster ravioli and swordfish expertly prepared), timely airport shuttle and all of the staff were very professional and kind. Have to give a shout out to the bartender, Carlos, who was wonderful. 2.3 miles from airport but on a beautiful lagoon with palm trees so it felt like we were still on vacation.

This is an excellent hotel with exploratory service, nice rooms and a lovely large lounge area adjacent to a pool area, bar, and restaurant. The concierge was friendly and exceptionally helpful. It is only a ten minute ride on the shuttle from the aiport.

We only stayed for one night after getting evacuated before hurricane Irma hit, Booked room online at 8.30am, arrived at hotel at 9.45am, room was ready for us. excellent service, (we were told to evauate previous hotel at 8am) Room was very good, king size bed, bathroom, closet, safe, 2 large windows, plus desk and chair, Very comfy. Pool area was good, plenty of chairs etc, Plenty of seats in lounge area, nice looking bar (though we didnt use it), small starbucks type shop. Restaurant was good, smart area but relaxed, Breakfast buffet was good value, plenty to pick from, Dinner was excellent, Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed due to the approaching hurricane and as we were due to fly out the following night. Certainly would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a excellent hotel at a fair price close to Miami airport, Hotel also operates a airport shuttle service.

Hotel seemed empty. My room was really cold and could not change the thermostat. Went to highly taunted on site restaurant after 9PM, only one couple there. I was seated half way to the REAR. My order of French onion soup and crab cakes was awful. the soup had very little broth and way too much bread/cheese: the crab cakes were crispy on top and soggy in the middle AND nearly tasteless.The waiter simply set the food down and walked away! I lifted the tops of the crab cakes and very obviously didn't eat them. The check was delivered and collected without asking why it wasn't eaten! Never checked if I needed anything in the empty eatery. On my exit the maitre'd asked 'how was my meal, I simply put my finger over my lips in a don't ask jesture...

Pullman should be a french style and way of serving. This is badly dominated by a different style. room are not so good. i have been to may pullman but not like the one of miami i would recommend another option

« A very nice hotel »

The hotel is very nice. I will say that it is rare these days for me to have a room with two double beds. I would imagine it is because the rooms are small. The view is nice, and the staff is great. The pool is refreshing, and I enjoyed the restaurant and the cafe. All in all I would stay here again.

« Lost - May Have Been Last Stay »

I've stayed at this property over the last 8 years. I encountered a customer service issue on this visit and what should have been a really simple thing, left me wondering why I stay here at all. When a manager/supervisor is less service driven than the team member she's helping its a problem. This property never lived up to the Sofitel branding and based on this experience, its certainly not going to do wonders for the Pullman brand in the U.S..

« No refund for a family emergency »

I had a family emergency and called in the morning to cancel the trip on the morning of June 8th (for that evening). I was on business travel, but booked the trip directly via the web site. There was no refund available, and I was promised that a supervisor would look into it further and get back to me, which dod not happen either. I cannot evaluate the property, but I certainly would not reserve again.
