i liked it , room was OK , burgers were good , breakfast too, i also liked beer , personnel was communicative and non-intrusive, but there were some molds in bathroom.

Everything was fine, but the experience of having shower was very unpleasant: - The holder of the shower was not well fixed and the direction of the water was not good.I had to hold it with my hands all the time - Joints in the glass of the shower let the water escape and flow to the floor

Novotel Messe is close to airport of Zurich and tram station is 1 min walk. Room is big, equipped with all necessary things, including Guest services are very friendly and helpful.

I Felt unsafe. Door didn’t close properly and haven’t realize it on time. I was lucky that no one get in the room when I was there, have no idea if I had visitors when I wasn’t at the room.

hotel and facilities great; the lady at the reception had a bad day apparently (was grumpy), gentlemen later was in a better mood; the stay was more expensive than quoted the first time (still in discussion though). Location very good.

The air was so dry and dusty I started to bleed from my nose after 2 nights; same for my colleagues. Basic bathroom items missing - cotton buds, body milk. Very old and weak hair dryer. Mold in the corner of the bathroom. Dirty curtains.

« Clean but need maintenance »

Stayed for 7 nights in total. First 4 nights was upgraded to executive room with open bar - great service. Last 3 nights was given a room, with tv not working initially, and unable to access the room (# 550) because of malfunction of the card / door access system. Reception tried re-issue card, but still did not work. Then reception offered to change to room # 549, which was ok. But the whole experience was ruined because I had to change room in the middle of my stay, and moved my unpacked luggage between rooms.

As it was early morning check out, I couldn't find UBER driver, so I asked the reception to call a taxi. Though I heard the schedule of shuttle bus when I checked in, I appreciate if they kindly told me that the shuttle bus will come earlier than calling a taxi. When I changed my plan and decided to take the shuttle bus (as I was in a hurry) and told reception about it , they just told me that shuttle is already waiting. So I carried my big luggage and went to the shuttle. Then the driver told me that I need to purchase a ticket, so I went back to the reception and purchased it from the same lady in the reception who had no comment about it. I didn't complained at all, but will not use here next even though I'm a platinum member.

« Great service & location, room needs better cleaning & maintenance »

Staff were great, service was good, Boco-Menu cod delicious. Carpet was dirty, ingrained dirt around plughole in wash basin, telephone had a very loud buzz making it hard to request ironing board and room service, card reader in door worked intermittently, I had to ask for help twice to get in, and the valence (skirt) on the bed nearest the window was half way off the bed and looked very untidy.

« Dirty sofas and carpet in room »

It was ok for one night, but sofa and carpet in awful condition. They are so dirty that it’s visible and it’s no desire to sit on them. As a plus few sockets near the bed so it’s very convenient to charge phone and laptop.
