« Dissappointing as we expected different attitude »

We only had one night in Athens on arrival we were told our room had been upgraded . I’m not so sure but it was only for 1 night . We went upstairs to look at the rooftop restaurant bar (partly the reason of booking there ) staff were busy complaining about issues rather than welcome us and serve us for our drink so we chose to go out instead . We did return later in the evening to have dinner and we were looked after for a table but again staff were not initially welcoming and accommodating to our needs until we were going to leave . We understand it’s been a busy summer and staff are tired but we are paying customers and we have never been to Athens and we’re rxcited at beginning our holiday there .

« Relaxing weekend »

This is not the first time i chose this hotel, the staff are very positive and welcoming, the hotel is clean and pleasant. The only thing witch i have seen this time in Athens and especially in the surrounding areas is the insecurity and dirt of the area. ( ham not afraid of anything happening but still the maria is not as welcoming as it was in my past visits).

Really nice and helpful staff. Special mention to Platon Kallergis who did an amazing job and went out of the way to help us during our conference. Great view from the swimming pool. Location of the hotel is not good at all. One of our colleague was even robbed inside the hotel lobby.

Welcoming, clean, excellent staff, friendly, helpful. Only criticism was we were told we didn't need to book for the roof restaurant by reception, when the restaurant was in fact closed as it was the end of the season. Receptionist was clearly unaware of this.

Very positive experience. Check-in man was very helpful and provided a free upgrade to Junior Suite for my family!! Another gentlemen was always extremely helpful throughout our stay in terms of advice on travel, things to see, etc. View from pool bar was excellent. Really can't fault any of the staff for their service and friendliness and all the basic facilities of the hotel are in good order. I would certainly recommend to friends & colleagues!!

The front desk service was excellent, staff were really helpful and friendly. They offered a really professional service. The room we stayed in initially was clean and tidy. However, once we started using the bathroom, the smell was unbearable, especially in the mornings. I believe this is due to the poor plumbing. We did report it and the staff dealt with it. They offered us another room and the bathroom was less smelly, however, there was still a smell once the toilet was used. I don't think I will be staying there again, whilst it is clean, the smell makes it really unpleasant.

« Poor front office staff behaviour. »

Not very good given tht ur staff failed to understand my requirements and instead showed me some rules etc. U may chk with them. I will never recommend ur hotel to anyone and will certainly go bak and inform my tour operator not to book anyone here. Also will never use novotel worldwide
