« Can get better »

Hotel seemed to me like 2 star, however it was mentioned as a 3 star. There was refurbish work going on I guess, It did not gave me feel like 3 star. Not all staff can speak english. Toilet/shower were really very small. There was no kettle in the room as I was expecting that in a triple room with a kid. There was a double bed and a small single bed. It was hard to sleep on the single bed as its width was very small.

« Clean, good value for money with friendly staff »

We were greeted on arrival in a friendly manner, check-in was fast and we were informed renovations were happening on other floors to ours. However work stopped at 5pm and we weren't disturbed at all during our stay. The room was very clean with a modern en-suite and included towels and hairdryer. The windows were soundproof and the bed was extremely comfortable. We cannot find fault with this hotel.

« It will be nice when it's finished. »

Lift was a bit temperamental. Lots of building works going on on floors 4/5. I was on floor 6. Convenient location, free coffee and croissants, nice view from the bedroom window. Good quality bed. I am not sure that I recall a mention of the building works when I booked, but they didn't really spoil my stay as the drilling stopped at 5pm.

« Very satisfied overall »

Speedy and effortless check in and check out, cordial English -speaking front desk staff, convenient location to main transportation hub and city travels, clean room, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Size of room is as expected. However the staff manning breakfast could be more friendly. Minor issue with toilet bowl cover for Management's kind attention - it tilts forward and rests on user's back while in use (design or installation flaw??) and hence slams shut if user does not hold on to it when getting up ;-P

« Great hotel experience, great service, good location! »

I was really impressed with everything! The room, although small, was clean and everything was in good working condition. The service was amazing - the staff were all so professional and helpful. The breakfasts were modest - not a massive selection of foods, however what as on offer was really tasty :) The hotel was a very short walk to Gare du Nord so getting there with public transport was really easy. Although the hotel is not in the touristy areas, I would definitely stay there again.

Ibis is never known for luxury but practicalities. The location is 500m from Gare du Nord station and nearest metro on line 7 is 200m. Very convenient to travel through Paris. Highly recommended if you’re not looking for luxury.

My airline lost my baggage and Camilla and Pascale were extremely helpful and friendly. They really made me feel welcome and went out of their way to assist. The hotel is very central and easy to get to and from Gare du Nord. Breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable.

On arrival was told the floor above ours was under renovation and could not be moved. Second day was notified they would be no water all afternoon. Staff were not really bothered when we said we were not happy and were very dismissive. ibis hotel state they will try and resolve all issue within 20 minutes of them being raised but this amounted to nothing

The works for refurbishment in the hotel, only from 9am to 5pm, can actually cause some inconveniences and we apologize but some days we can not do otherwise. Know that from 5pm, all these inconveniences are finished. Know that our team is at your disposal 24 hours a day, I am surprised to hear that your requests have not been taken into consideration and I am sorry. Overall, the hotel and room was clean and the room satisfactory for a short stay in Paris. The service at reception was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast offer was good. Both the reception and breakfast area were well presented. The location is very convenient, being only a few minutes walk from Gare du Nord (for Eurostar/Thalys and other mainline train services) and other metro stations. Otherwise, the hotel appeared to be undergoing some renovations work. I was staying on the 3rd floor, where the rooms and corridor looked rather tired and worn and could do with being refreshed.
