For the first night we got a room nearby the elevator, which was very noisy. The reception solved it swiftly next morning and we got another quiet room. The hotel is otherwise recommended. Good Novotel standard, but the rooms nearby the elevator are not recommended.

« Let down by being sent to wrong room and room not being properly set up for the 2 children! »

Very friendly check-in staff. Then sent to a room where the key card did not work - had to return to Reception - was then told has been given wrong room number. This was frustrating as we were in a hurry. The room was not set up for the children - no extra towels - only 1 spare pillow - sofa bed not opened up, and nice open sheets too small for bed. As we were already late we just made do (children using hand towels and sleeping without a pillow) as we had no time to sort it out. Also the room was extremely hot and air conditioning not working as full of dust. We were leaving early in the morning - good quick check-out service. Generally I would have reported these issues and given you a chance to resolve but just did not have the time on this occasion.

We were pleasantly met by the front desk at 11.30 at night and received a newly renovated room. Breakfast was pretty good (some more fruit and vegetables could be nice, but there was a good selection of other food. Close to the subway was great for us. TV had fuzzy picture but we did not watch. Internet connection was better than most hotels we have been to, which was nice. Room was good size for two people and the refrigerator with refreshments was a nice touch. The nespresso was a pleasant surprise, too.

From the moment we approached reception we felt warmly welcomed. We highly commend Pablo for his welcome and extra attention and upgraded room. Also We hope you pay well the woman in charge of the breakfast room, she is a treasure and so professional and totally in charge of this room Once we realised the windows could open we were in heaven as without them the room was stuffy and we were sticky but the windows solved everything.Sorry that I left my earrings behind to inconvenience you but will retrieve Thame end of November.We loved staying with you, sad because when we booked you were being closed for renovation.

This hotel is located in a quiet area of Madrid. To visit the Madrilenic POI's a bus service is just outside the hotel and for a small fee you find yourself in Madrid centre. The breakfast is a feast, catering for all your likings. Unfortunately we were too late in the season to use the swimming pool. If you arrive here during the warm seasons, do not forget to take your swimgear with you.

"Damn, I've chosen an old 'back to 80s-style hotel'' - that was my first thought when I saw the hotel from the street. But when I got inside it turned that the hotel was already renovated inside, has pretty nice facilities (incl. working pool), tasty food in different restaurants in different places, located not so far away from metro - well, it was a pretty nice stay!

Great until refused a bottle of Cava Sunday evening due to end of month stock take. Offered champagne at five times the price! Joke!! Appreciate these things need to be done but not to the detriment of your paying guests.

Booking, pre-info before check-in all in all perfect. Coffee Machine, beverage included in the Executive Room, excellent. Breakfast room was too crowded, to loud. But very nice staff. The Roomes should have a renovation somethimes. But all clean, except the carpet.
