Excellent facilities with very helpful staff. Great location, right in the city centre, and our room was massive! (129). Pool was great for the kids, the only issue is parking. We didn't eat at the hotel at all, so can't comment on that.

I had a very pleasant two night stay and this Novotel. All the staff were professional and very helpful and the Executive Room (an upgrade due to membership status) was nice with a free mini bar with beer, soft drinks, and water. The location of the hotel is excellent with any sights in easy walking distance. In addition, I found Gent a lovely place to spend a couple of days.

We stayed in Novotel Gent the 4th year in a row. As always, we very much like the great location of the hotel. Nevertheless there is no change in service, especially in the restaurant in the morning. I urgently need to point out that I do NOT want to blame the personnell as they do their best, I guess it is simply not enough staff! Thanks!

Always a pleasant stay at this hotel in Ghent. The Staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, the showers are hot, and the location is perfect. The breakfast is too expensive and so I do not buy it.

From beginning to the end, I had a horrible experience! Our was dirty! We wanted the change room, because it was extremely noisy! We called the reception, they were so rude and hanged up the phone! They left us without any help! I missed my business meeting due to I couldn't sleep until 4.30am! I lost my conference fee because I couldn't sleep!

Good mid-range hotel in the centre of Gent. This was a business trip so I didn't get a chance to try the swimming pool but it looked good. Breakfast was a good standard although the orange juice and coffee could have been better (Franke coffee machines are everywhere but they are very slow and don't do very good espresso). Room was fairly spacious with everything I needed.

Delighted with our choice, The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of beautiful Ghent, Rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast excellent and staff friendly and helpful. The website photos of the outside area don’t do it justice. It’s spacious, comfortable and perfect for a break from sightseeing, weather permitting.

It was a pleasure staying at your hotel. The room was clean and the tea / coffee was welcome after a long drive. I found the hotel easily using sat nav but as I approached the hotel, I followed the yellow signs. I couldn’t locate the reception so it was confusing at first. I didn’t know if I could park on the street but I realised after that reception is best approached (on foot) from the other side. I think communication about parking could definitely be improved ahead of the visit. I’m fact, even though I had booked a room with parking, I don't think I received any instructions and it was one of the factors I considered when choosing the hotel. My only criticism though. Breakfast was good / as expected and the location of the hotel is fantastic. Would stay again.

The issue lies with the fact that i have spent almost one hour trying to get to the hotel with the car , after having talked at the telephone with the operator who gave me the address to reach (hoopboord 52) which i eventually reached at the end. the main point is, your hotel is situated in a restricted area: during the online checkin you must gave clear instruction where to park to the guest. for example, i did not know you had a parking that i had to book in advance. or just point the customers to the main underground parking in the square. but again, you need to take care of the customers arriving by car. regards Jacopo
