The standard of the hotel is on the decline. The room that I was first allotted did not have the shower working properly, the tiles were broken which could lead to injury if not careful and the airconditioning was not cooling enough. Though the room was changed on request, the issue of aircon remained.

Pullman Al Hamra hotel, one of the best hotel in Jeddah. I like this hotel but hotel’s management should be more care about the cleaning. Staffs & Duty Manager behaviour was wonderful, and great welcome.

« First time at this Hotel »

I regularly stay in Accor Hotels and always find them excellent and good value. This was the first time in this Hotel and I was impressed. Everything was good, staff, food, accommodation, pool area, etc. There was a small problem with a plug socked in my room, which was fixed very swiftly by a helpful engineer.

It's the second time I stay in this hotel and the level is worth the price. No complains, just a bit more of courtesy more at the reception desk, all the rest is ok. Good room, gym, good breakfast. I'll come here again.

Average old hotel, breakfast is good but rooms are small. The room floor carpet was dirty.! Room service is available 24 hrs and with resonable quality. The gymnasium is very good 😊 well equipped and the coach their is a very friendly helpful person.

The hotel is currently under refurbishment so expect some disruption and ask for one of the newly refurbished rooms if available.The staff are helpful and service good with a good buffet style breakfast and evening meal options available in main restaurant

Terrible A/C ( Super Bad) Very Bad WIFE Old Furniture Only Good breakfast at La Veranda Need demolishing and to be rebuilt at a higher level. One of the most location convenient in the City So sorry that the Hotel is getting to that level after so many years of business.

The A/C does not work less than 24 degrees no matter what setting you have it on and mind you I was in the renovated room. On demanding another room I was told this was the best the ac can do. The phone was not working and inspire of repeated reminders no one even bothered to fix it - ended up using the phone in the bathroom to make calls. It's high time such rip off hotels are shut down!!!!

Service was good, but the hotel need to be renovated (what they announced to do) I was there last time in 2011 and nothing changed - so beds were not very comfortable anymore and bath room were to old Anyway, in this situ the price/value ratio was poor

The location is very good, the cleanliness of the rooms has to improve, specially the carpet. The mattress are too soft and need to be looked at. The power socket has to be connected separately, if you switch off the lights the power socket also gets off. If you're charging a mobile or laptop while you sleep with lights off it doesn't work

I'm a long time member of Accor Hotels program but this stay is worse one i have experienced. I had a twin room booked for 2 nights using Accor website. On arrival it turned out that i need to wait for about 1 hour as my room was not available yet at 9pm (booking confirmed and paid in advance). No welcome drink was offered despite my high accor status. Next day droped my laundry at 9am and supposed to be ready for my same evening - received it on my checkout next day desite several calls to laundry service and reception. I will never stay in this hotel ever. Extra rating for breakfast which was pretty good and included in room rate (normal price of 110 SAR for is way too much.

- non smoking rooms have ashtrays and smell terrible. - after room change, exact the same. - the drain of the bath tub was deliberately closed and the taps not working. - hairs everywhere - left the hotel after two nights for another.

« Really terrible hotel with totally run down rooms »

1st room was very old, smelly ond totally decrepit. Next room was "freshly renovated" but the bathroom was still decrepit and the renovation not done professionally, e.g. wall painting was exfoliating.Also big dirt spot on carpet, slow and instable internet connection, no chair for the desk. I did not get my Bonus Points for ACCOR Loyality Program, even if they told me they will do...

1. No towels 2. electric socket not working 3. green substance in the kettle 4. dirty cups 5. pubic hair on the drinks in the minibar 6. dirty sofa 7. loose wires in the bathroom 8. trying to charge double for breakfast 9. wanting to charge for the pepsi can I took from the minibar and then took to the reception when I found the pubic hair on it 10. not showing any signs of caring when you complain: not a single sorry, not even from the manager when I stormed into his office to moan about the overcharging. Accor: please not the huge number of complaints about this hotel and DO SOMETHING!

It is a very poor managed hotel, I stayed for 5 nights every evening I had to call after returning from the visit outside to ask for the towels. which would come after 15 = 20 mins I had to wait till then for a bath. even till 6 pm no towels were provided. very bad house keeping service. will never would like to stay in future in this hotel. had asked for a pick up for which was ready to pay but was flatly refused. absolutely pathetic experience at this cost

I stayed here for two nights and I was given a renovated room. A nightmare! AC was not working (in Jeddah it's usefull and basic in a 4 star hotel), room was dirty, not cleaned at all between the two nights, service unprofessional from the staff. Stress yourself to find another option than this Al Hamra by Pullman!

Stayed two nights. Rooms are very old and there was no house keeping. Swimming pool no water. Reservation having big issues, seems to think that guest is a hassle. Thought it was a good hotel due to the name Pullman but quite disappointed.

It is too late to call the room at 11.30 at night to apologise for your incompetence. The cost of a room far exceeds the quality of service. As well as arguing with the poorly trained manager: The bath was dirty; thankfully didn't have time to take one. the phone for room service didn't work: had to do a diverted call via reception. The food - very expensive - would have been over priced at half the price. In short: a 1 star hotel pretending to be something better than it is. Never again.

I thought that by choosing Pulmann, this would have been the guarantee of beautiful place. In fact they are refurbishing the hotel. I have not been disturbed by this, but existing room are in very poor condition. Wall paper is collapsing, carpet is dirty, bathroom... I was very disappointed.
