The staff in both reception and restaurant were most helpful. Reception staff printed my boarding passes from email. We were unaware of the possibility of a shuttle to the airport but were told of it when asking to book a taxi.

The room we stayed, the very last in the corridor on the ground floor smelt like mould and like it has been standing closed for a very long time. This was in high summer. The staff however was very nice

The hotel is well located. Rooms are clean and good enough. The city center and the beach is at 10 min by car, not far away from the airport. Breakfast is simple, nothing special. People are nice. We recommend.

« overpriced, poor value for money. »

Very restricted at bed end due to unnecessary wall fixture, poor decorative state, toilet crammed into corner of tiny bathroom but Good quality comfy bed. Very good Breakfast & good coffee. I paid in full for this room 7 wks in advance, Stayed at 2 other Ibis hotels on this trip, Corunna Spain & La Roche Sur Yon, both cost at least 25% less than Biarritz & the rooms are a much better quality. Is the high pricing purely due to the Hotel location? it certainly is not for higher standards!

« A satisfactory experience. »

The hotel was very quiet, before holiday season proper. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Facilities as you would expect at this type of Ibis, we have used Ibis a lot, you know what you are getting. Breakfast was varied and very good. The restaurant was unpopulated in the evening and we ate at the Novotel next door, decent food. We were only stopping over and did not explore the area or travel into Biarritz.

« Disappointing to discover that the restaurant was closed for meals after a long journey »

We have stayed at the Ibis Anglet for many years when travelling, and have appreciated the improvements made over the years. However, we were disappointed to find that the CourtePaille restaurant has been replaced with Ibis Kitchen, which, on a Saturday evening, was only offering snacks. It was suggested that we try the Novotel restaurant which was expensive [by CourtePaille standards] and inferior. For this reason, we would choose another hotel in future

« No air-conditioning in May »

Nice staff and they managed to find a ground floor room for us as I was in a wheelchair. This hotel advertises it has air-conditioning, one of the reasons we booked it. When queried why our room was hot and the air-conditioning did not work we were informed it was not put on till June. We stayed in May and it can be very hot in May -especially in rooms facing the sun!! Compromise was to give us a key for the locked window - hardly secure but it did cool the room down a bit.

« A very nice overnight stay. Could have been even better if the restaurant had been open »

The accommodation is good for the price but, I specifically asked if the restaurant would be open when I booked and I was assured that it would be. When we arrived we were then told that it wasn't and we had to eat next door. As it turned out that was fine but, it would have been better to have been told the truth in the first place. The reason I mention this is that we particularly liked the in house bar/restaurant on a previous visit.

« Another good overnight stay. »

We usually use this hotel on our way south and find it welcoming, comfortable and clean. It's also easy to find from the A63, take junction 4 as it goes right past the door! Although, currently, no restaurant - breakfasts are catered for - you can dine at the Novotel next door with 10% discount for the hassle.

« Disappointing food »

After driving for 11 hours all I needed was something to eat and a bed, so I wasn't in need of much. I appreciate very much that there was an agreement between the Ibis and the Novotel where we received a 10% discount in the restaurant, that was a nice gesture. However my partner's dish was not the standard I expect. The dish was monkfish with risotto, but tasted nothing like it. The monkfish was just above room temperature when served, and had almost no flavour. The risotto was awful, with a terrible texture that was partly lumpy, partly mush, and zero flavour. It looked like it should be used to plaster walls. Normally I never have any bad experience with Accor hotels and I'm happy to be a member of the loyalty program, I appreciate all the benefits, but I'm afraid this was one time that we were let down. We are currently spending two weeks travelling and will spend all of it in Accor hotels, I hope this will be the only poor experience we have.

« Poor service and dangerous bathroom. »

We were excited to stay at another Accor property on our family trip. This was the third location in a week. My father was exiting the shower when he fell and hit the the toilet. The showers in both rooms was very slippery with no provided protection. When he fell he injured his arm and back ( he is 77 years old). The toilet seat was damaged and we informed the on duty manager. The manager wasn’t concerned at all. Two hours later the toilet seat was still broken.this required my mother and father to use our other family room. The general condition of this hotel reflects a similar lack of care as well. I would not recommend this location.
