I stay frequently. Any issues I have are always addressed quickly and in fact I rarely have issues. I’m very happy to see some new air conditioning in the rooms. I hope all the rooms get renewed. I was in 523. Bunch better than the previous.

Free bus - line 105 - from Heathrow Central Bus Terminal is very convenient. Easy arrival when checked in online. TV-set in the bar was fsr too small. England vs Croatia and the bar was fullt packed! Restaurant a bit pricey. Staff helpful and service-minded.

The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable . However the breakfast experience was not good at all. It was crowded, lots of Chinese pushing in and not much food available after they had grabbed it all. It was like a bun fight in a school dinner hall.

When I arrived I was told there would be a hairdryer in my room. Once I got to my room I could not find one, so I called reception and was told there was definitely one there and then hung up on. I then went down to reception to ask if I could have a hairdryer where I was repeatedly told there was a hairdryer but if I was certain that they would bring one up. When one was brought up to my room later on I was once again asked if there was a hairdryer, it seemed a bit patronising. Had a very peaceful night sleep, did not need to get up until 7:30 am so was very surprised when I was woken up around 6:30 am to the phone in my room ringing. I called down to reception to ask why I was called and they did not know who had called my room, but there was no apology.

« bad service and bad policy »

your hotel is too concerning on the revenue, as I arrived your hotel on 9am, your staff said if I need to early check in and get my room, need to pay 30 pounds extra. at evening, I back to your hotel to check in, actually, part of room tariff already use my points to redeem, however, none of staff aware that I need to paid the balance of room tariff once I check in. Until I check out on coming morning, still no one know the issue of I settle of balance. Why I voice out, I used my mastercard be the guarantee credit card, not equal to I use this card to be the payment, originally, I can select my visa card to settle this payment.

Checkin was quick and efficient. Room clean, odour free and quiet. Bed very comfortable. Transport to the hotel via HotelHoppa very easy. Bar and restaurant area welcoming and pleasant environment. Overall very satisfied and would not hesitate to use again, excellent value for money.

Very good stay at the ibis Heathrow. Particularly impressed with friendly and welcoming staff at reception and elsewhere. Of particular note was the personalised hand-written welcome card in the room on arrival; a really nice touch.

Too brief. Reception was immediate, thanks to one of the young receptionists waiting in the hall. The room was perfect, the breakfast ample and interesting, and the shuttle/taxi system very much appreciated. All in all a very agreeable stay. We will be using the hotel next time we have to stay overnight at Heathrow.

« Too modern, crowded and disappointing »

I have had great experiences in other Ibis hotels throughout Europe. I knew they are reliable and affordable. I was hoping for a quiet, relaxing experience at the Heathrow Ibis Hotel after a 30 hour journey from the Sahara Dessert to try reach home (in New Zealand). When I arrived at 9pm finally to the hotel, I could not even hear the receptionist as the modern "open" area meant everyone was wining and dining in one big space. It was crowded and noisy. To top it off, there was no room service. After weaving through what felt like a rabbit hole I eventually found my room and decided, to starve instead than go through the grief of facing everyone downstairs just to order myself a one person meal.

« Good hotel for a night or two that is close to the airport. »

I stayed here after a flight from Australia for the convenience of the location. The hotel is close to Heathrow, just a ten pound taxi fare. Stayed for two nights as the location was good for spending a day at Windsor Castle. My room rate included breakfast which was good, I had an early morning flight to Dublin on my second morning and the hotel makes sure that there are continental breakfast items available for guests who are too early for the regular breakfast service. I was able to book a taxi through the hotel to get me to the airport on time for my flight.
