Stayed for a night at the end of a business trip to Lisboa. Standard property. Nothing exceptional. Service standards could have been better specially the over priced restaurant. The time to check-in was very long - suggest online check-in.

Front desk never answers the phone. Carpets are very dirty and old. Hotel is just next to the airport runway, so that it is quite noisy. Beds are of poor quality. Novotel hotels should all meet the same standards, but this one does not. Breakfast is however good.

Hotel was located a good location for me, close to convention centre. Staff very focussed on customers. Room was clean. Always taxi's available. Low flying planes can disturb you. I had the double windows open, so it made me wake up. With closed windows it should not be an issue.

As ever we very much enjoyed our stay. Unable to go out on Tuesday we were very impressed with the cooking and service in the restaurant where we had both lunch and dinner. And with breakfast the following day. And the front desk was very good. After an early departure from Funchal it was good to have a room from our arrival.

My wife and I stayed at Novotel Lisbon for 3 nights and we had a wonderful experience. We arrived very early from Granada, Spain and being a Gold Accor Plus member, enjoyed not only a very early check-in but also a room upgrade. We had a dinner at Bicicletta included as part of our accommodation package and the food was excellent, probably the best we have ever had at any Novotel restaurants we have stayed at around the world. Service from staff was friendly and warm and they were always willing to give us travel tips around Lisbon. I would like to specially mention Reuben for his assistance in checking us in early, Adriana who helped us to maintain our room upgrade when we extended our stay and also Fran from Bicicletta who recommended dishes to try and gave us extra travel tips for our stay.

First bedroom had poor fitting window - noisy night with traffic and overhead aircraft from early hours Reception were able to move us to a different room. Window closed ok but air con was loud Not sure why housekeeping need to leave the windows open all day and let in 28c heat. It must make it harder work for the air con to cool the room

good beside the parking story I will explain ..we just park the car near the Taxi station , in the morning no car.. we park ther for many time , we go to the police they ask 172 euro but in CASH !! this is NORMAL ? we think no .. and it look that this is what they are interesting to do ,not becouse we did not park well ..we think that this is interestin of the hotel also ..to contact the police and check why they are doing this and ask for CASH PAYMENT ? we are not sure we would like to have this experince agian ..please let us know if you can do someting ? the POLICE must take picture to show that the car not in the correct place ... we think we well park it .

Disappointed service at the reception

The reception needs to understand the Accor hotel status benefit. When we arrived the hotel on 26th April, the reception never mentioned about the benefit and didn’t give us a welcome drink voucher. We went back to the reception to ask the welcome drink voucher. He asked me what status I had and I said Silver. He advised me there was no benefit for Silver and all benefits were given for Gold above which was incorrect so I said welcome drink was one of the Silver benefit. While explaining this, he started to prepare the voucher without listening to what I was saying and throw this to me without saying anything, and left! I politely explained everything from the beginning, however, the service we were given was shocking and we are thinking to stop staying any Accor hotels... The reception when we checked out early morning of 29th April was very helpful so we were actually sad to know why there was a big gap for their service between people.
