« Staff excellent, overall stay good, but the air conditioning was not working in our room. »

We had a good holiday break and all the staff were excellent throughout the whole stay including the restaurant staff. The room was clean and tidy, but the air conditioning was not working which we reported at the end of our stay. In the room we felt that the cups should have been ceramic instead of paper and the glasses should have been glass and not plastic, which we felt would have been more environmentally sound and would have fitted in with the re-use of towels policy which is excellent. The cot provided for our 2 year old was very comfortable and was provided with a sheet and a blanket which we felt was very homely. The breakfast was delicious and had everything anyone could want, except porridge!!! The restaurant was good value with the 3 course meal offer, the children's menu was good and the adults food was different every night and very tasty. Particularly enjoyed the specials. The hotel was well located, the children's play areas were a good idea inside and outside and the gym was well equipped. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and felt it was good value for money. We would stay at this hotel again.

I am bit disappointing as Air Conditioning didn't work. Room was too hot. I had asked receptionist & only option left was to open windows due to which it was very noisy due to Air & road traffic. Don't understand the point of booking a 4 star hotel when Air condition doesn't work in March-April?

Hotel is decent, clean & good break fast. However what is disappointing is that rooms were too hot, despite of us paying for Air Conditioning in a 4 star hotel, it wasn't switched on. They didn't even provide us with table fan. Had to open windows & was extremely noisy due to Airport nearby.

All staffs were friendly, helpful. And the event at the basement was good for my children. Just one thing I cared is that on second floor, it was smelling like sewage not only in the morning but evening. But in total, I was satisfied with the stay there.

I am very impressed and satisfied with the service, all questions were answered and no significant issues appeared. However, the magnetic key to the room several times needed to be recharged. This was the only issue with negative impact.

The room was comfortably laid out, the bed was very comfortable. Staff were efficient and friendly. They accommodated all of our request. In terms of location, it was not centrally located, however I deliberately chose that hotel because I hate the hustle and bustle of noise in the city after you retire. Despite the distance, it took five mins walk to get to the metro. Will definitely stay there again.

I was very pleased with the hotel, staff were very efficient and accommodating. Polite and answered all my queries promptly. Room was big enough for me and my husband, bed was comfortable. The location was handy five mins walk to the metro and the area was quiet. Would definitely stay again.

I visited The Novotel Lisboa on many occassions the most recent being 2 nites on the 7/8th March '18. I keep coming back to this hotel as it offers excellent value, outstanding service and they are constantly improving their facilities. Although it is probably 10 minutes from the centre of the city, taxis are plentiful and very reasonable. There is also a metro stop close to this hotel. Any requests I have made over the years have been dealt with in a most courteous manners and this alone explains my very good rating for this hotel. You would want to have very high expectations not to be impressed with Novotel Lisboa.
