« Badly trained staff - don't only refuse to acknowledge problems but accuse us of lying about it »

Internet did not work throughout our stay, after two days of ignoring us we were told to go down to the -1 floor in our pajamas because "we are the only ones with the problem in the hotel", we had to fill out the complaints booklet because of this. As someone who spends 200 days a year in hotels like this, it is definitely not a place we would recommend because of this service. Breakfast selection extremely limited with food that is not replaced quickly and cools down a lot, lots of flies in the restaurant. Wait staff is quite friendly and helpful but could not do much.

Stayed with my dad, specifically requested for the sofa beds to be drawn as my dad went for the bed, while I chose the sofa. I had to draw them myself. Asked for services a Novotel should have - concierge (stamps, post, etc.) nonexistent. Restaurant staff couldn't care less about patrons. Gold membership not honoured except for welcome drink

Its about 750m away from the Metro. The spot is noisy due frequent landing approaches directly above the hotel. The excellent breakfast asortment and extraordinary quality of the food is well compensating the mentioned concerns.

I stayed with my family for one night, the only little issue was that when we arrived at midnight the sofa bed in the room was not ready and I had to call a couple of times to solicit someone to come and prepare it for the kids. But apart from that flawless experience.

Arrived early hours and check in was easy. Room clean and good size. Breakfast was expensive. Pool was good, hotel provided beach towels at no charge. On flight path into airport which didn't bother us but might others.

« 3 messages without any reply. Service at Check-In-Counter poor !!! »

I sent 3 messages to you and didnt get any reply at all. I can copy them for you if you want. To get information at CKI-counter was very difficult.Employees seemed to be nervous and were very short in replies. City plan only handed over after long discussing how to get to the center of city. I wanted to leave your hotel to IBIS;however they didnt have rooms available. The employees were much more friendly and service minded. I am more then 20 years accorhotel member and a Silver Card holder but the Service in your hotel was very poor. Safe in the room was locked,but as we arrived in the night I thought that there might be nobody to open the safe. So I called next morning which took your staff after 3 calls 50 minutes to come.Every day we wanted to enter the lift/room our card didnt work,so we had to contact again not very friendly service staff. Only last day we met Mrs Claudia who helped us a lot and compensated for the before miserable days. Bar and room service was OK. Receiption desk needs big improvement. I chose Novotel because I thought service will be better then in IBIS but in Lisbon this seems not to be the case. In my experience this Novotel was the worst of all Novotel I was staying before. At the end of all I checked my account and found out that you overcharged me by EUR 122.55 . I expect a quick refund. I wrote a note already to Mrs Claudia who hopefully will regulate this problem. No complaints, Hotel could use some renewal though. The room was spacious and clean. The chair in the room was a bit weard as it was really dirty to an extend, that only exchanging the furniture would have helped.Located close to the subway, it's easy to get there and away.

Very good hotel located according the Novotel style, conveniently connected to the airport by bus. Comfortable and clean rooms. The lack of smoking rooms will prevent further stays. Good restaurant at low prices, a special thank to Caterina for her professional customer care attitude.

« Terrible customer service »

Customer service was terrible. Was not able to charge expenses at the restaurant on my room because the receptionist during the check in process did not proceed with an authorization approval. Weird thing, just right after checking in, I went to the bar and charged one bottle of water on my room. The next day, I went to the restaurant to have diner. I had to ask three time to get the check. Once I received the check, I asked to charge it on the room. The waitress told me she couldn’t do it and encouraged me to go to the reception. Lame excuses from the receptionist and her supervisor. I had to go back to my room to get my credit card in order to be able to solve the issue. The next day I sat at the reception and the very same thing happened to another customer. She had to go to her room to get her credit card.
