« Comfortable and nice breakfast »

I appreciated the room size, the bathroom was large and nice. Breakfast was extremely nice with a lot of choice and quality products. The reception employee who managed our check-in was rather cold, I would have expected a more welcoming experience. We stayed only 2 nights and the room was not cleaned agter the first night, even though we were out from 9:30 to ~2pm.

« Comfortable hotel with pool area »

Nice pool area, nice staff and nice rooms. Th extra bed is hard. The airplanes does not disturb during night.it was totally silent. Not much restaurants I the area. Close to metro and open top busses right outside hotel.

« A little bit too many problems. »

At one occasion the room wasn’t cleaned. One several occasions the door to our room did not lock. Also cleaners left the door unlocked. When a late checkout was requested with one receptionist this was not communicated with the other receptionists so they were completely unaware of us still being in the room. Breakfast was excellent.

The rooms are very old and tired , housekeeping missed things on most days (not replacing toilet rolls, leaving rubbish). Staff not overly friendly especially front office. On the positive great breakfast, amazingly comfortable bed. A little disappointed as I am a fellow colleague of the same brand

« Comfortable and modern hotel close to Lisbon metro »

Your hotel was all we expected from an Accor Novotel with comfortable rooms with excellent inclusions, great breakfast including good gluten free options and close proximity to the airport and Lisbon Metro. We really enjoyed the complimentary minibar after a long day sightseeing, and the Nespresso machine in our room for a morning coffee before breakfast.

Out of the city but fine if you have a car which we did. Parking is extra and the garage was a garage from hell. The ramps are so narrow that you need to be very careful or you will scratch the car. The gym was poorly equipped and the treadmill did not work. Shower is in the bath which is very difficult to get in and out of safely. Showers are safer and best. Who has time on a holiday to sit in a bath? However the bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. In spite of my gripes I would stay here again.

Nice hotel to stay with family, very good breakfasts and clean rooms. Cleaning service was professional. Swimming pool was closed on april, but it was caused by bad weather outside. I'm sure that i will back to this hotel next time.

« Good hotel but TERRIBLE taxi service »

Do not use the taxies in front of the hotel - they are absolutely unreliable! These cars collected us 35 EURO for around 5km from Novotel Lisboa to the airport. They are going to mug you although the receptionists would tell you the cost for the transfer to the airport is 10-15 EUR with these cars. Secondly, there's a chance to miss your flight - there were 2 taxies that were shouting to each other who'll pick us up. They don't speak English so we were unable to ask for any payment document. Also, there wasn't a counter or anything that is showing the amount. Ride with Uber instead - the cost is exactly 9 euro. The hotel don't offer aiport transfer but they advice you to use a taxi The service was quality. Great breakfast and room.

Overall my stay was good. The Lobby bar seems to have service issues. Wait staff lack basic training. We waited over 15 minutes to get any kind of service (i had to ask fot it to happen) and waited 20 minutes to get our check (also had to get up and ask for it). Spoke with the manager at length to provide my opinion on lack of service. I also had an issues with front desk as I wanted to book a 2nd room during my stay. Had found the online rate and thought it would be easier for them to copy my existing reservation and extend the online rate. The front desk kept telling me the rate would be $50 Euros more, even after I showed then the screen in my phone that showed other wise. I ended up having to book the toom online. I asked for my 2nd room to be in a quiet area.’, away from elevators. I was placed in a room directly next to the elevators. I received an amenity with fruit and cookies in my room, which I appreciated but dont know who or what it was for as it did not include a card. The brakfast service is excellent, everyday the food was stocked properly. Nuno at the front desk is a delight, he was there every night when we returned to the hotel. He acknowledged us and assisted with great restaurant suggestions.

The arrival was fine as always the check-in very speedy. We arrived late and were very tired, although we were so tired and did not call the reception, the rooms should be checked when they are cleaned every morning and the air conditioning unit should be checked as well. We were almost suffocated with the hot temperature during the night, it was horrible. At check-out there was no one at the counter and no visible box to leave the cards.

Lovely hotel.Rooms nice but window area too small.Tv reception was poor.Checkin was poor,already had done online and had submitted passport details.But had to have all our passports re submitted at the desk.Very poor information about pre authorization on our card.The money had been pre authorised,but on check-in we had to pay with another card.Was told that the pre authorization on our card would be cancelled,and was given confirmation.However one week on it still hasn't been lifted off our card so we can't use those funds!
