Spending over $500 per night with a breakfast and an extended 2 hours is a bit expensive for this kinda hotel. It’s not worth it. Great view and great location on the positive side. I would not go back because of the high price. You can get similar for $150 per night. Sorry guys. That is the truth.

Everything lived up to previous visit five years ago. My only recommendation would be to have water available in the lobby where people hang out in the afternoon or evening. Coffee in the morning is much appreciated.

Great location, nice rooms, awesome outdoor decking, good cocktails. Breakfast buffet not worth the price or the attitude of the hostess (who should not be complaining about her job to every server who will listen) within earshot of the guests.

It was extremely disappointing staying here. The first time I visited New York I stayed at the Langham and it was an excellent experience. This time around we decided to stay at the Novotel. It was extremely small, had no amenities, not even water! Overall horrible, will not return and will not recommend. Sorry.

Overall was very satisfied with the experience. The only thing is that there seemed to be a problem with the design of the bathroom, as the barrier on the floor of the shower wasn't high enough to prevent the water from splashing everywhere and getting the whole bathroom wet. Bathroom was also somewhat lacking in counter space. Was particularly pleased to find an iron and ironing board in the room.

Fantastic Time Square View. Was worth the cost. Beautiful hotel, great location! Only downfall, was not given enough shower gel for two people and bath rug was forgotten. Had to speak to service. AND why can't I drink my own beer on the bar patio...really? And getting the final bill, charging me for breakfast which I didnt have

A girl's night stay became more than we could ever imagine. An amazing view of Times Square, a modern and inviting room to stay in and a morning send off from the complete coffee bar made our trip to New York the best it could be. A special thank you to Natasha for helping with our reservation; we are already planning our return visit and Novotel Times Square is our go to hotel for anyone who asks us where to stay in the Big Apple.

As an AccorHotels registered customer, I expected quite a different experience from this stay. I opted for NOVOTEL instead of other accommodation in New York (less expensive but offering the same features) as I considered that Accor could guarantee a better level of service, comfort and facilities. Unfortunately, the service proved to be disappointing as the staff showed limited capacity to help out when it came to settling hotel expenses while showing respect for the customer. I was particularly shocked by an event that occurred in the middle of my stay: as I came back to the hotel at 11:30pm after a full working day, I found our that my room card had been deactivated. I asked m the front desk to help and he said the card had been deactivated failing the possibility for the hotel to block a guarantee on my credit card. I then offered to settle a pre-payment of 1,000$ in cash to unblock the situation, when I could have in fact claimed that my Accor profile and card details would have allowed the hotel to have the necessary credit guarantee already. After all this, the front desk called a security agent to wait for me in front of my room while I would take cash from my room safe - I felt it was so insulting to be treated like a thief... The payment issue came up again at the end of my stay, but at least on that occasion the front desk staff and manager were more helpful. Other elements that I did not appreciate were: - long wait to check in upon arrival. The “dedicated line” for AccorHotels customers was not so much actually, as other “regular” customers were still handled much more quickly than us; - no sleepers available in the room for the whole week - poor arrangements for the bath (curtain old and not practical at all; water drainage not working properly). Considering all this, I would have at least expected a small gesture by offering the $17 I spent in laundry services. No such thing happened, to my regret. As one of the 200 European Union officials travelling to New York every year for the UN general assembly week, I will not be returning to NOVOTEL next and will not recommend to my colleagues to stay in this structure. As a loyal customer and given the amount of money spent on my stay, I would have definitely expected a different treatment. I trust you will take this message into consideration and draw the appropriate lessons. I will appreciate your direct feedback and action following my comments. Regards, Francesco M.
