« Elevator broken every day »

room small, the price was really high, breakfast was missing a bit internationality as for example a couple of slice cucumber and more cheese. The elevator was broken and we had to walk with luck, until the first floor but the handrail of the staircase was broken in several places.

« Nice clean and welcomed nicely »

Upon arriving was really nicely welcomed. The room was quiete, clean and nice. The bed was really comfy. I just found the layout of the room a bit strange since the table by the bed was st the opposite side of the plugs so had to put the phone charging on the bed. Not a problem but i was surprised to have to leave the key at the reception when going out to (ie going out before coming back to the room)

« Great location, but average hotel »

We selected the hotel for the location and is very good to explore Paris. Price was a bit higher than similar hotels, but we had a positive experience with Ibis in the past. Usually newly refurbirshed and modern style. But here came the disappointment - old rooms, desperately needed renovation, tide size, although on picture looks much bigger. There was a strange smell everywhere. In the description was mentioned modern hotel, nothing to do with reality. Breakfast was ok, limited choice, compensated by some extras like fresh orange juice. Staff was really very polite and helpful

Clerc refused to charge the credit card used to guarantee booking, which belongs to a third person. As an AccorClub Gold member, it was much umpleasant to learn that way that guest are obliged to pay the stay at check-in.

« Fair but I thought overpriced for the room »

The reception was good, the breakfast excellent, but the room was 2nd rate, and the bathroom very badly finished, you didn't have enough room to sit on the loo properly. I think for the price (and I have a silver card and a discount) it was expensive. Shame as this is the area I am working in at present - and I'm really not sure now whether to stay there again!!

« My stay was okay but not exciting »

I did not get the feel of staying at an ibis styles. I booked a double room about 8 weeks ago only to arrive and be put in a family room with a double and single bed which had an unpleasant smell coming from the drains of the toilet i assume. I went back to reception to complain and requested another room be allocated, the response was no more double rooms available if i would accept a room with a single bed instead??? I got an apology of sorry but there is nothing else we ca do about it, i booked this hotel based on what was advertised on the website but was dissapointed on my arrival in the room i was allocated. Unfortunately i shall not be returning as i have stayed at other ibis styles (Nation Cours de Vincennes) which met my expectation of an ibis styles.

« Great location, good staff, nice clean room with good wifi and hot water on demand. »

Enjoyed the stay. Ideal location, quiet street off Place Republique. I normally don't like having to leave room key at reception when coming and going, but having two staff at reception during the daytime made all the difference which meant I wasn't waiting for my hotel key upon return. Asked for a quiet room and received a quiet room. Room was very clean, good wifi, running hot water on demand. Breakfast was good, although 1st day seem to run out of cold meats and cheese very early

« More of a hostel than a hotel »

The location worked really well for me as it was close to my office but I wouldn't stay again. It felt like a hostel and the rate per night did not reflect the value I felt. The staff were very nice but it felt odd to have to ring on the door to be let in, almost as if it wasn't safe for just anyone to walk through the door. The furnishings were very old, carpets faded and dirty, the lift was very slow and rickety and the light outside my room was flickering on and off. I really did not like the fact that I had to leave my key at reception at all times (especially as the night guard was out smoking quite a lot and anyone could have reached over and taken it). The hairdryer was pointless, it had the ferocity of a small child blowing candles out on a birthday cake and the bathroom, though functional, felt very cheap and badly fitted. I slept very well, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets clean, which is lucky as I only used the room to sleep. I would not wanted to have spent any more time in it than that.

Staff where brilliant, helpful and friendly however the room was old,dated and not very clean. The bath had no plug the bathroom door didn’t close and the bed had a huge dip on one side

This is the fourth time I have stayed at the hotel. Great service overall. On the last day unfortunately the front desk (an older man) was very rude, racist and refused to place a call for our taxi. He was very rude as well to the couple that checked out before us.

I booked this hotel on a special promotion offered by Accorhotels. We got a very fair price for high season. The rooms were clean and the reception staff were helpful and polite. I would say it is slightly lower quality than other 3 star Ibis styles I have stayed in. The location is very handy, right near the Place de la République which made getting about by public transport easy. Having air con in the room was great. The stairs and lifts and doors are generally a bit battered and good do with some maintenance. This isn't why you go to Paris on holiday, is it? If you want luxury and pristine sparkle everywhere, you might go elsewhere, but I feel we got an excellent deal.

Overall the stay was nice, though the room was pretty small for a double room. Limited space in the room. Looks a bit old and the floor from the door to the bed area seems to be uneven. Breakfast was good. Aircon was not really strong though it may be due to the hot summer weather while we were there.
