It is ok in general but it is depending who you have in front of you at the reception there are a lot of changes in the personnel - and as having a golden status in Accord hotel and come often - they do not recognize you one is asking your credit card - the other does not small things but that make the difference with other hotels of the groupe

I stayed here on business as convenient for La Defense. Bedroom was of good size very comfortable, quiet and well appointed with a great panoramic view of Paris. Service was a little impersonal and the restaurant service not up to usual Accor standards. Would stay here again if in the area, but not my favourite hotel in Paris.

« Price and Quality are not in line (overpriced) »

Rooms are old/outdated. Window could not open, very hot in the room. Cooling system in the room is absolutely not working. Very poor breakfast (such as pineapple from can, old bread) Most staff members speak very poor English Poor service/quality of the staff during lunch / afternoon. They lacked basic waiter skills. Overall experience is by far not 4 star quality

« OK experience. »

Hotel has seen better days and is a little run down compared to other in Paris. Breakfast first morning was utter chaos but managed to beat the crowd on the next day and breakfast was OK.

« Most Unpleasant stay »

This is the first time after 100's of stays at 5 star hotels across the World, that bathroom had no water even a drop for whole day. After water started it was black & muddy. Unfortunately my bathroom taps were open and when I returned my room was filled with water. Everywhere it was wet and due dew drops even ceiling has water droplets. Worst of all, no room service available at that time of night. Completely miserable.

« Overnight stay »

Hotel located convenient close to La Defence Esplanade Metro Station. Hotel is typically fully booked and it might be difficult to get room is you book too late. Breakfast is good with eggs, bacon, tea youghurt, coffe, waffles, brea, musiles etc... Hotel as a nice bar and specially the Ecological Cidre they have is excellent.

Simple & clean room, but quite expensive. Mattress was too hard for me, but I guess that's personal. Friendly lobby personnel, but somehow it took ages to print my invoice (same for my colleagues) > you should look into that ;-)

Found that there was limited hot shower water in the mornings. Paper cups and near no milk was a turn off. Dining room was quite small and congested. Quests were taking their breakfasts into the foyer.

« Good value for money »

We had a quick (1night only) and comfortable stay at Novotel. Hospitality was just excellent (both by phone as well as at the reception). Practical parking but said that we had to pay for. Breakfast was great and various. I'll come bsck again if needed.

We checked in after a long day of travel and went up to a room on the 9th floor to be greeted with a filthy room, garbage strewn on couch with take away food on the table and a dirty bathroom. Had to return to reception and be assigned another room. Front desk staff were pleasant for the most part,they assisted in printing boarding passes as the printer was not working in the common office/recreation area. Noted that reception said they could not allow or provide a candle/slice of cake for my birthday as it was forbidden. It is the first time in my life I have ever experienced such a poor stay, and I feel disappointed to be Accor member. Will definitely be considering other hotel choices in the near future.

« Overall OK BUT there was an issue that was never resolved »

The weather was quite warm during our stay. The air conditioning in our room could not cool the room below 28c. I told the front desk and they sent someone up to the room to check it and they told me it was working fine (but it was unchanged). It was SO intolerable that we had to go to Darty in La Defense and spend 39.00 euros to purchase a table top fan so that we could sleep (which I just had to leave in the room when we left). I have stayed at the Novotel La Defense before several times and have been very satisfied. However, this was the first time I needed air conditioning and it did not work even though your web site shows that the rooms have Air Conditioning.
