Very good but I was charged 120.00 Euro extra to my account but I had paid via booking.com prior to arrival. Can you provide an explanation to why this was charged please ??

Nicely maintained hotel, however, the room had a lingering smoking smell which exacerbated my allergies. Only bar cafe open for the evening and with young children unable to use due to high level chairs.

The main bright spot in the stay was Matild from the front desk whom was extremely helpful. Breakfasts were shameful mainly the service. We asked up front for a connecting door but none took care of it until we came and then we got it just for half of the stay. Could have been a much better experience.

Honestly i do not like the location, but the hotel is terrible as well. Public places small, no terrace, windows can not open. Only positive was the perssonnel, they very really friendly

Stay 5 nights here, and it is perfect ! Having great view of Eifel Tower and welcome by Mr. Jean Phillipe at receptionist. He helped me explain in detail about Paris. This information is helped us a lot !! He always smile when he saw us. So kind and so helpful. When I asked, he always help me with great explanation. « Generally better than IBIS next door but can still improve in customer relations »

Reception on arrival - very good and pleasant experience / Breakfast was Good / Room and bathroom Good / Problem - as is known by your staff - returning to hotel at 9.30 after dinner out - passed by Hotel bar and sat checking mails on smartphone and a little football on TV : only 6 people in bar - approached by bar lady asking if I would like to order a drink ; on saying no thanks I was told well you cannot stay in bar and not drink - there followed an argument with bar lady and 10 minutes later with I guess the bar manager. I later complained at reception - eventually a manager apologized for the treatment. For me when I pay for a room at an hotel i expect that it includes the ability to use the reception rooms of the hotel and not be asked to buy drinks or leave ; This is Novotel not Ryan Air

Satisfied. For the location, and price I did expect a more modern hotel. I believe that the pictures online demonstrate that perhaps some rooms have been remodeled, mine had not. Simple things like not having many plugs (since we all have a laptop, tablet, cellphone, etc.). Additional items for sale in the lobby would be nice (ex. water, snacks, etc.) that can be accessed quickly. Overall a nice place, and I would stay again.

« it was OK »

It was really difficult to get through to room service. When I called, the phone was just put to the side. I could hear people talking and "kitchen noise"... but no one answered me. I got tired of waiting, and hang on. When I tried to call again, the line was of cause busy (the phone was put to the side). After several times I finally succeed to order some food. When the food arrived 30 minutes later, it wasn't warm.

I was not happy at all the way the lady at the bar treated me, I wanted to just have a nice seat to see the football and have dinner ....I was very disappointed...I would have expected much more warm welcome...even if she didn't want give me the table she could have explained it differently......

Very disappointing stay. There was a problem with my booking and the hotel assured my I would get a refund. Two weeks later I am still waiting and having to talk to the customer care team that are no help.

« Pleasant hôtel but don’t dine here »

Very pleasant hôtel but the evening food offering is pretty terrible (I didn’t think you could ruin a simple bowl of pasta but turns out – you can! Also really need a soft closer for door to the toilet otherwise it bangs in the middle of the night which I’ll bet my neighbours didn’t appreciate. Your gym could use some small hand weights. Lastly your TV offering is pretty limited.
