« The experience fell far short of our expectations »

The room provided was shabby and desperately needs updating - on previous visit we had been given an updated room. We asked if there were any others but the receptionist said that they did not have the authority. We were disturbed in our sleep several times in the early hours of the morning by people coming and going......when we complained we were to blame the other clients! (And the receptionist broke off from talking to us to address someone else who had walked into the hotel - very rude and ignorant) When we arrived the room heating would not work......the receptionist came and switched the radiator on! We found out later why it was turned off as we were almost boiled alive during the night as the temperature control did not work!! The food was good...

Easy to book. Good correspondence with the staff via email prior to visit. Comfortable warm clean room. Good meal reasonably priced. Good buffet breakfast. Excellent staff and customer care. Very good tu be able to use my loyalty points as part payment.

no faults what so ever with everything that should be apart from the poor goldfish in dirty water and constantly looking for food. mind you the weather could have been better and the forecast for the following day wasn't much better

« Shocked to find the restaurant closed in the evening - your website should be clearer about public holidays. »

Be aware that, despite no indication of this on the website, the restaurant is NOT open for dinner on public holidays (and neither was anywhere else in Abbeville except MacDonalds!). The room was fine, location quiet and the bed comfortable.

« Comfortable hotel but needs a reminder about customer service »

Room average. Bathroom was a plastic pod and a little dated. Room very clean, spacious and comfortable. Evening reception, including booking in was almost miserable. No welcome drink, no recognition of membership card, hardly any conversation or welcome. Daytime reception much better but far from perfect. As a result of service experiences, ate out at local hostelries nearby all of which were excellent.

In a good place for travelers, excellent staff and a good menu. The fiscelle de Picardy is a must! Good bed and pillow. Parking easy and area quiet at night. Easy access off and back on to the autoroute.

Good experience overall, but the bathroom, although visibly clean, was smelly. Luckily the memory had faded by the time we came to eat in the restaurant, which we found to be offering a very enjoyable meal.
