The rooms are in need of a refurb. The fridge had mold in it. The pre authorization is still in pending status on my card, when I queried it I didn't get an answer. Noone seems to know what the process is. Wouldn't recommend.

Breakfast food, wasnt great. Bacon was barely cooked and the eggs looked a very strange colour. Milk was off, only found this out by drinking a cup of tea with milk in. In the bottom of my tea was string of milk. gross.

The only problems we had was the shower facility. There needs to be a rail for easy access into the shower and also a better prevention for the water (when taking a shower) from getting on the floor outside. I expressed to the front desk staff on checking out.

It was a nice sized room and we received a very welcome upgrade! The breakfasts were very nice kept us going through a very full weekend. There were however issue regarding the room from the start. 1. The coffee cups provided in the room weren’t clean! As the hopefully attached photos will show! 2. The main issue was a that the temperature dial on the shower is broken and wouldn’t stay in one position! It always turned by itself to the maximum heat setting. Making showering awkward.

i have stayed at the Novotel London West a few times as it is convenient to my company's London offices. however, the room was fairly average and nothing special, as was the buffet at breakfast and dinner. the staff were all friendly and helpful although it was disappointing that after check-out my invoice was not emailed as promised, requiring me to request this again.

Stayed for 4 nights, 2 adults 2 children, had to keep asking for towels only enough ever left for 2. Early departure on last morning even though breakfast was paid for no alternative offered even thou arrangements from 4am could be organised as on your website, this wasn't the case. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke!!! Carpet very tatty in bedroom.

The stay was great but trying to contact after normal hours was very difficult. I accept that the issue was mine as I left some items in the room but it took a long time to contact the hotel to discuss collection and the reception was not manned and took sometime to return and this particularly difficult if you are having to get a late train

I was great the coffee machine in my room wasn’t working at first but they gladly helped me out with that without a problem dinner was the best same goes with breakfast. Main thing I wished you guys had is a pool the hotel is huge enough for that.

Unresponsive remedial action, dirty rooms, faulty showers

Some of the main issues were:- a) Despite clearly requesting adjoining rooms and it being confirmed below, so that I would not have to move when my family joined the next day, I was first allocated a room on the 8th floor without an interconnecting door and had to ask reception again to arrange such a room as they had no idea about this. Furthermore, when I called back later that day reception staff remained baffled and said nothing had been done. I had to repeat my request, which shouldn't have been needed in the first place. Fortunately when I returned late in the evening I had finally been moved to a room on the 6th floor with an interconnecting door - although again the next morning I had to confirm that my family would be allocated that adjoining room which yet again took an unnecessary amount of time to confirm. When my family arrived to check in that evening at around 7.30pm reception made them wait around for a lengthy time before confirming it all again, which after my repeated confirmations and a three hour drive should not have been necessary. As a result they were also very late in meeting friends for supper which caused further inconvenience all round. b) The shower in my room (6037) did not function properly - it ran hot water for about 5 seconds and then only cold for another 30 seconds before repeating the cycle, making it extremely uncomfortable, despite multiple efforts with the dial controls. I asked reception to make sure it was fixed that Friday morning when I left. However the problem remained on Saturday morning and again reception staff remained baffled when I asked them to fix it once again. Very disappointingly yet again on Sunday morning when we tried to shower we found the problem had still not been fixed for the third morning in a row. I had to ask reception once again to fix it on Sunday morning and yet again no-one did. So eventually late that afternoon I had to ask again and actually wait inside the room until a handyman finally did turn up. He spent about 20 minutes and said it was fixed. However, when my wife, who stayed in the room for the next two days, tried to shower over those next two days the problem remained. As a result we had a faulty, cold shower for all five of our nights/mornings which is completely unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. c) The cleanliness of the rooms and main corridors left a lot to be desired. I have sent 4 photos of our rooms AFTER they had supposedly been cleaned to or reservation manager Lorena Olivadese. d) When my wife finally left on Tuesday afternoon, she had to wait for 15 minutes for anyone to show up at the downstairs lobby reception to retrieve her baggage from storage - this was after she'd called reception twice to ask for someone to come and man the desk

Room was very quiet and well appointed. As I was staying for 5 nights on business, having a small fridge to use was appreciated. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable - had a great night's sleep every evening. I did have to request extra coat hangers as there were only two in the wardrobe which were being used to hang the complimentary towelling robes. The two upholstered dining seats next to the small table were a little worn and marked but otherwise room was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. Will definitely stay at a Novotel again and would recommend to colleagues, friends and family.

Spacious room and nice breakfast. Staff friendly and willing to support. The main problem was with my baggage drop for storage where no personel was available either to receive or to hand off and caused some significant delay.
