The Mercure Hotel Frankfurt airport is a good quality hotel located near to Frankfurt airport. The rooms are clean and well equipped. I stayed in a Privilage room which included bath robes and slippers. there was also a free minibar and coffee machine included in the room rate. Also available was a discounted dinner rate. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. I had one issue - of my own making - I left behind a phone charger and adaptor - I contacted the hotel about it and they reported that it had been found and asked for my credit card details in order to return it. I asked for the approimate cost of postage to which they never replied. I assume it was probably cheaper t obuy an new one, but a response with prices would have been nice so I could have made the decision myself.

We relaxed in the bar had a great meal and good sleep and then the shuttlebus brought us punctual to the airport. Our stay in Mercure was wonderful again specially thanks to the people from the frontdesk who helped in anyway so as to establish an internerconnection

Worst Accor Hotel I stayed

Everything is in the title. There are so many things that were bad during my stay that even don't know where to start from. - The welcome was cold and not good at all. Every client needs to be treated with respect and with a smile and especially Accor members. No welcome drink for silver members in that hotel apparently. - The room was so bad, noisy arircon, dirty carpet, dirty bed with really suspect stains, dirty shower curtain and that cold cigarette smell. Awful. - I called for an iron and table, they coldly ask me to pick it up at the reception because they were busy, which I did. Once there, they told me the iron room was on the 4th floor. So I asked why did you ask me to come down then? They start laughing. So unprofessional. Never seen an hotel like that and I stay 10 nights a month in Accor hotels. All the above with the price of a real Mercure hotel more than 100 Euros for a standard room without breakfast. That Hotel is a joke I never complain but I will never stay there again even if it was free. I am glad I didn't bring my wife.

They did everything right at the Mercure. Speedy check in, air conditioning turned on in room and comfortable bed. Only negative was difficulty getting In and out of shower. Breakfast was very good and hostess very pleasant.

Well priced hotel not far from the airport

Hotel was reached using a shuttle bus from the airport. Transfer was about 15 mins. You do not pay when travelling from airport, but you do pay for the return to the airport. Room was fine for a short stay with additional benefit of swimming pool and sauna etc. Did not use the restaurant but others seemed to enjoy. I would stay here again.

The room is sufficiently big in a quiet surrounding. Very clean. The shuttle bus is a bit messy because of the many guests from 3 hotels that use it. Charging 3 Euros for the return trip to the airport could be waived. Very relaxing pool and excellent sauna. Excellent price-quality ratio. I definitely recommend it if you need to stay close to FRA airport.

Nice hotel close to airport

The hotel is situated close to Frankfurt airport, but we cannot hear the planes. The rooms are large and the furnitures are nice. One small problem: but the walls are a bit thin when the neighbour room puts TV very loud. The restaurant is nice, with good dishes and wonderful wines! There is a large choice for breakfast, with quality products.

Very average, hopeless transport arrangements. The hotel is 20 minutes from the airport and in the middle of an industrial estate. You don't even get tea or coffee making facilities . I used the hotel as I had early flight. I wouldn't stay again.

What a difference compared to other Mercure hotels! Building and common rooms aren't really nice, not to say ugly. Location is not that convenient if you want to drive to the airport. Service is so-so - not really welcoming (front desk, bar). Breakfast is simply awful.

Rooms are run-down. Shuttle bus from airport is free and to airport cost you EUR 3,00. The shuttle bus goes 3 hotels and the ride will be 20-30mins Long. Service at the front desk was barely acceptable. They don’t value Accor members...

.......and you won't here. Great place to chill and sleep, restaurant makes a mean double bacon burger as well!! I had the breakfast included as well, as per all Mecure Hotels, was awesome - cant go past the bacon and muesli :-) Alles war Tu meke!!

ari146 Friends getaway - 03/04/2019 TripAdvisor review

I was a bit worried having read quite many negative feedback but as a Accor Club member I decided to book Mercure Hotel Frankfurt Airport for my two night stay somewhere near FRA airport. It is true that the hotel shuttle calls only Terminal 1 at the airport and it is not mentioned on the hotel website which I think is odd - such an crucial service for an airport hotel. This information was found in social media posted by other guests - and at the hotel reception desk when you finally enter the hotel. For those using FRA Terminal 2 it means 15-30 minutes more travel time with change of bus or internal train. Not quite convenient. I do realize that the extra call at T2 would make the shuttle rotation longer and might lead to putting an extra vehicle/driver in traffic highering the cost but nevertheless it would make an improvement to customer experience. The hotel building itself is clearly from the 80's but renovated and kept clean. The rooms especially seemed quite well working and at least mine was tidy and functional. The best part - by far - is the hotel staff. I was amazed how thoughtful and customer minded the people were. At the lobby bar, which on that night served food as well (New York restaurant closed), the bartender had an excellent eye for customer service and he made the experience personal for each client despite of the fact that the bar was busy and many of us were also dining. The atmosphere and the customer experience was five stars and the salmon - not to mention the crisp local wine - was really good. The same "can do" attitude continued with house keeping next morning. As we were staying two nights, they checked wether we need new towels or other amenities and asked how we prefer the cleaning. This was done with a warm and human to human way by the house keeper lady and her supervisor. Again I felt like a personal touch which differs from the standard technical service. We had a scheduling issue for which we decided to ask if we can pickup a continental breakfast from the restaurant and eat it in our room while doing hair and showering etc. Our breakfast were prepaid on buffet basis. Our request was met with big smile and help with arranging a tray with linen napkins and explanation of the buffet. I was astonished. At many hotels any exceptions are a "no-no" as the processed (what about the customer...?) are disturbed. Here the main "process" seemed to be the customer satisfaction wherever it was possible. Same at the reception.

The hotel was fine, the only complaint I have is the quality of the pillows. They are very lumpy and make it hard to get a good night's sleep. The location was great and the service to the airport was on time

Waited a long long time the shuttle bus at the airport to the hotels. I have been charged for bus transportation from the hotel to the airport by 3 euros when it state that the transportation TO the hotel it's free. I personally found this a little tricky beside I spend over the week-end more than 270 euros in the structure! On top of that I did ask for connect some device to the room tv over the HDMI port but the told me they couldn't..... the same exact model of the tv in other hotel has been done w/out any problem. The room was clean and the price is reasonable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. During the business times in the morning an afternoon our shuttle bus is driving each 30 Minutes to the airport. The charge of EUR 3 is usually an below the charges of our competitors and public transportation. The connection via HDMI should work in alle rooms. We are sorry for the inconvenience that you probaly arrived at the station, while the bus just left the airport and that you got a wrong information regarding the television. With a 4-star hotel, I was expecting another level of service. 1) I have asked for a double bed but I got two single beds 2) Beds were not made! 3) the shuttle service is free from the airport to the hotel but, from the hotel to the airport, you have to pay 3€! 4) No free water bottle in the room. You have to pay 3,50€! 5) The shuttle does not go to Terminal 2, but the hotel does not tell you! I have waited for 45 minutes at terminal 2 shuttle point. 6) bathroom was not very clean... I was used to better standards when I stayed in Mercure hotels before...

I booked a room with a queen size bed and instead I was given a room with a French bed. When I challenged them I was told that the hotel did not have a queen size bed. I booked through your website.I am so sorry but I will never use your hotel again.

OK but not as good as I remember

Disappointed to find that my room didnt have tea and coffee making facilities. Aparently I should have booked a higher grade room even though this one was 25 Euros more than I paud the last time I visited.Hotel no longer provides a free bus transfer to the airport. Has started charging for the return journey even thought the journey yo the hotel is free. Strange policy and comes across as being "cheap".
