The room was smaller than other Ibis Styles I have used. The facility needs refurbishment. The bar facility was very limited. The person working there was folding laundry in the bar area when we arrived and later when we had a drink in the bar.

Rooms were clean, quiet and with good (effective and not too noisy) air conditioning. Decent selection of restaurants for dinner nearby despite being out of town. Breakfast was enjoyable and good value.

Overall was fine but expensive as the room rates had shot up for that night.

Was fine. Air-conditioning excellent on a very hot day. Had to climb two flights of stairs with suitcase although I was offered help with it. Some items were looking a bit tired e.g. some staining in bathroom. Convenient location. Bottle of water in room. Bed comfortable, room quiet, bed linen quality good, towels not so good.

We stay at this hotel regularly as it is a convenient halfway point to the West coast. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming and deal with any requests in a very efficient manner. Rooms are always clean and breakfast adequate if not very imaginative.

Quick check in and check out. Stuff was very nice. Clean new rooms. Very good breakfast You can press juice from oranges. It is possible to take coffee, tea or chocolate at any time. Large parking space. Located at the commercial center outside Rouen.

Very nice staff, a lot of car parking space available, complimentary water in the room, very good breakfast. Coffee, tea or chocolate can be taken at any time. We could squeeze juice from oranges at breakfast.

Basic hotel with friendly staff and plenty of parking. Places to eat if you want to go out and a bar if you don’t. Only negative is that it could do with a facelift.

We had quite a bit of luggage and this Ibis does not have trolleys. The manager realised our problem and offered to help bring our luggage (including our cat) to our room. We had problem getting our ipad to work and a member of staff helped with that. They go the extra mile. This hotel is in a commercial centre with plenty of good priced eating places around, especially the restaurant in Carrefour with a menu of the day.

We have stayed at other Ibis Styles hotels, and been most impressed with the new brand, but this one is the same tired, basic Ibis that has been desperate for refurbishment for many years. The dated, tired look is still present in the 'new look' hotel, very disappointing. We normally stay in the Rouen centre hotels, and will next time. The breakfast was particularly poor as all of the French breads were burnt so you could only eat the middle part. Evening meal was at the adjacent Courtpaille restaurant, we will not be visiting there again either.

smelly drains and broken heating

receptionist, very unhelpful, said no extra pillows available when we have always been given an extra pillow in the past. bathroom in room 304 smelt of drains. air con/heating made such a loud noise it was impossible to sleep.

Typical Ibis Styles and have stayed a number of times. This time however it was a cold night and some heating was required. No problem except it was not possible to have heating without the fan which was very noisy when trying to sleep. So turned off the heating and the system made horrible gurgling sounds all night. A very poor night's sleep. I did report it so I hope that this was a one-off problem as I will be staying in the future.Also, I have found in this hotel that the hot breakfast (sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs) is cold and congealed if you arrive after 9.15 am.
